A peaceful stay little far from main town, that offers you a beautiful view of the lake. what amazed me is the beautiful garden they have with wide variety of flowers. uncle was super helpful, plus the food was nice

I had a comfortable stay at this Airbnb property — everything was clean and as described. What really stood out, though, was the caretaker. The homestay was absolutely lovely in all the ways we wanted :) The home itself is gorgeous, full of lots of natural light, beautiful creepers and is quiet all around. The food made by aunty was very tasty, Ragi was very friendly, and everyone was very warm in opening up their home to us. Deeply appreciate Arjun's prompt communication and his being such a generous and respectful host. Wish we could have stayed for longer, but even so, it was great to spend a day here!

Had a heartwarming stay at this beautiful, heritage wooden home from the British era. I booked it for my family of five along with our small puppy, and it was everything I hoped for – and more. After a long journey, Rajesh Uncle kindly allowed us an early check-in, which made such a difference.The main reason I choose Airbnb is to feel at home even in a new place – and this home gave exactly that feeling. In the charming Kumaoni surroundings of Nainital, this house felt like own.Ganesh bhai is indeed a wonderful cook!My entire family enjoyed the peaceful and serene environment, and the proximity to Mall Road was an added bonus. My father, who usually doesn't enjoy travelling much, loved staying here – especially the gardening conversations with Rajesh Uncle, which brought him so much joy. In this fast-paced world, this place offers the "thahrao" (slowness and stillness) one one truly needs. Highly recommended for families looking to relax, play in the garden, be close to nature.

We had a peaceful, relaxing stay at Langdale Lodge. The host Rohan and his family are warm and hospitable, exactly what you might be looking for in a homestay. The location of their home is close enough to walk to the market area for those willing to take a bit of a steep path (for those who would prefer to take transport to the market area and back, that is available too). The host offers delicious, steaming hot meals if you wish to order food from them and get a taste of carefully prepared local home cuisine. He's full of recommendations and interesting anecdotes for his guests, and was forthcoming with practical help needed during the stay. The home and its surroundings are no less than a picture postcard. Anyone who's looking for a calm stay with easy access to Mall road should consider booking a stay here.

Syat House by the River, with forested mountains

Our stay in syat house was worry-free and perfect, thanks to the beautiful room, the beautiful calm and trashfree landscape, the supernice stuff and the delicious provided three times buffet in the open garden kitchen each day. You pay for the food on top of the room price shown on Airbnb, but it's definetly worth it. The stuff is actually around the garden kitchen whole day, so that there is always somebody available. For people who think it might be a bit far from the entry of the nationalpark: there is a entry about 5minutes away and you can book a safari picking you up from syat house and bringing you quickly in the animal spotting areas. Ah and: after the warnings of Aditya for a lot insectfriends I expected endless spiders and more but in the end we spotted only one tiny lizard in the very far ceiling corner of the room and that was it (was in April). So don't be scared! We would love to come back one day :)
