It was an amazing place—cozy, comfortable, and extremely clean, with all the essentials you might need. We really enjoyed the outdoor area as well, including the barbecue zone and the year-round pool. The house is within walking distance of thermal hotels, pools, cafés, and restaurants. I highly recommend this place and hope to come back again. Many thanks to the host!

Great Location, quiet and quiet site. Although with the Highway near. Communication was always very good and the check in flexible, which was great for us who arrived late.

It's exactly as in the photos, maybe even better, a very nice place, and a 5* reception, very kind and very caring host. We were very close to the wedding venue, we had a great time.

Excellent week spent at a very quiet and quint little house. Amazing service with breakfast delivered each day. Fantastic walks around the area with home grown veg and fruit plentyful. I Would recommend a stay here for peace and quiet.

Dave and Wendy were great hosts! Always attentive to our needs and those of children. They gave information on everything that was needed for our fantastic stay. They greeted us with a treat for the snack plus seasonal fruits and vegetables grown on their property. They left us completely at ease, both inside and outside, we felt at home! The dimensions of the accommodation are better than the photos on the site reveal to us. Everything being great, it's impossible to characterize the friendliness and humanism of the couple Wendy and Dave. In contact with local people we understand how this couple of citizens is cherished and respected! Finally, even your Belgian shepherd dog is impressive with affection, always gentle and well laid out, as well as your black cat, full of character, who only asks for a few bites by placing himself on his belly! Based on respect and welcome, I could almost say we were friends. We will be back for sure!!

A lovely stay in a rural setting. Our hosts were so welcoming, generous and the best we’ve experienced using Air BnB - we had a lovely time.

It's been a wonderful few days, it's the perfect place to disconnect and rest. The stay was very pleasant, and we were also able to enjoy the pool every day. The surroundings are very nice and the roads are very good. Eva was very attentive to make sure everything was in order and correct. I definitely recommend it to everyone.

I recommend visiting this space, an incredible location for star lovers like me. Sofia and André are excellent people, always with a smile to offer and make us feel at home. We'll definitely be back.

It was only a one-night stay, but it was great! The house is located in the middle of nature, with incredible natural landscapes. The house itself exceeded expectations, 3 very good rooms, all with a toilet. Amazing outdoor spaces. Mrs. Maria Emília and Mr. Sérgio were impeccable, with ease at check-in and check-out times. I definitely recommend it.

So much more than expected. With great attention to detail - metal rods attached to old train rail steps ensure you neither slip or fall, lovely decorative pieces and tranquil garden spaces with comfy furniture - Mariana has set the tone for a relaxing, peaceful escape. We had an incredible at-home private chef #SenhorCohinheiro. The beds are comfy and our two goldens loved being outside (we were in rainy season so we didn’t let them near the rushing river) but I assume it’s wonderful fun in the summer when the water is low. In one word: marvelous. A small touristic village embedded in nature with lots of space for everyone (incl. our dog). Also all kinds of amenities available, like pool, hot tub, small spa, (surprisingly well equipped) gym, water activities and everything related to nature. Peter and Kate are really nice hosts with passion for their place. Perfect for a relaxing vacation in nature for the whole family. A+

Graça is a fantastic host: friendly, attentive, nearby… Her house is a haven of tranquility, in a huge estate with beautiful details. The natural pool, in particular, is a luxury. However, I would say that it was best to heed his recommendation to go to dinner at the Zé de Ver. How well we eat, please!!!

We had a great time in the middle of nature, with cosy accommodations and lovely animals. The communication with Isabel was great and our kids were very fond of the cats and goats! We would definitely come again!

We had a great short stay in the cozy wooden house and felt very comfortable. The nature around the house and the many animals directly give you the feeling of vacation. The location is good: Beautiful beaches were easy to reach (30 minutes by car), as were a supermarket. Thank you, Isabel.

David was nothing less than excellent.. he was there greeting us with great hospitality.. Wonderful man.. Great family!

We loved staying here and would like to again! The house was just as described and within walking distance to local grocery stores and restaurants. I loved waking up to see the beautiful fog roll in over the mountains and a herd of sheep doing their morning grazing. When it rains you can see the river from the balcony and it creates a relaxing sound. We also enjoyed getting cozy in front of the fireplace at night. More than anything, we appreciated António’s mother, who was very sweet and brought us pastries and chocolates. António was very kind and answered any questions we had right away. His father was nice as well! The cleaning service after two weeks was also a lovely touch. This place is a perfect getaway if you are looking to de-stress and be near nature and friendly people. The only thing I will note is if you are coming in winter it can be a bit cold (not surprising-it is winter!) so bring some warmer comfort clothes to wear around the house.

Thank you Liesbet and João, for the beautiful place to get away and relax surrounded by animals and nature. No city lights so a great place for seeing the stars at night. Liesbet is a very gracious and helpful hostess, great communication. Enjoyed a fantastic horseback ride around the area lead by Joao, a magical ride! Far enough away for a few days or weeks of relaxation surrounded by nature, but it also allows you to do some sightseeing. In an hour drive you can be in Coímbra or Aveiro. Also, nearby you have all kinds of services like restaurants or supermarkets.

Thank you so much Aurora for hosting such a magnificent weekend getaway. The chalet was absolutely astounding, our perfect home away from home. We will absolutely be booking with you again!
