Where do I even start?! Staying at Maria's Casa do Rio felt like a magical home away from home. Maria and her sweet dogs gave us a warm welcome when we arrived and gave us a beautiful tour of the property with an overview of its history that you should not miss. She was very accommodating to our check-in time and sensitive to our plans during our stay, which were not many. Since we didn't have much planned for our spur-of-the-moment visit, we were delighted when Maria gave us many suggestions of activities on our own as well as ones with her such as a tour around the area, canoeing, hiking, yoga class, massage, cooking together and so much more. The charm and kind embrace by Maria was otherworldly and an experience in itself that we won't ever forget. If you have any reservations on booking your stay here, you shouldn't because you will not regret a single second at Casa do Rio. Every moment during our stay here is one we will treasure, and we'll be back to visit Maria and her Casa.

The best and most beautiful airbnb i‘ve ever been. Such a beautiful house with very nice interior design. A giant outdoor space. Perfect place to relax and Tiago was so friendly and helpful. Will definitely come back!

This was a beautiful to get away. The space had lots to do. The hosts were delightful.

The host was very nice, flexible and helpful. He gave us great tips for interesting places, welcomed us, offered local wines and great port. The place had everything you needed, just a little cold, but that's to be expected in December. The location is amazing, would definitely recommend.

Thank you for a wonderful stay with a great view of the surrounding area. A quiet place in nature. From here, you can get to Porto and a trip by train along the Douro River. We'd love to come back. :)

Casa de Flor is a small piece of heaven. We felt right at home from the very first moment with Helena´s warm welcome and the beautiful space she had so carefully catered for our stay. We stayed 4 days in Ysabel's house, with the directions obtained it is it was intuitive to find the house that upon our arrival was as described. The space was more than good, the view of the river was a surplus, and we were able to comfortably make our visits to Porto and surroundings in the extra day there are all the amenities 10 minutes from the house. Ysabel and her partner were discreet as if they were not there but always ready for a smile and if we needed anything. Thank you for everything Tony Ileana and Vittorio

I super recommend Maria's Room, and Maria really knows how to treat guests, she made me feel very comfortable, always very attentive, she guided me in everything, as much as to places I needed to go and wonderful points in the city as a restaurant, points to take the best photo, curiosities of the region and its surroundings, and not to mention the person who may have a heart that does not fit on my chest, I just have to thank God for having directed me up here in her Hosting... and thank you very much 🫂 Maria "Gina", it was a pleasure to stay in your hosting ... the world would be much better if there were more Marias around the same way... thank you very much and success for your family, and my congratulations...

Wonderful stay. It's the ideal place for both a stadia and a family stay. The hosts have always been very attentive and responsive. We adored and intend to return.
