L K Dhami truly exceeded our expectations! From the moment we arrived, he and his family made us feel right at home in their little slice of paradise. L K was attentive and went above and beyond, even making a special trip to the market for us when we realized we didn’t have enough food to prepare. Each morning, we were treated to a delightful breakfast that was not only delicious but also a lovely surprise that added to our experience. If you’re searching for a serene escape where the locals radiate kindness and your host embodies warmth and generosity, look no further than Kanon village. The area offers convenient parking, and with a bit of care, any competent driver can navigate the scenic route in practically any vehicle.

Sangat is a very warm host and he was always helpful with whatever we asked for - be it local recommendation, taxi drivers, or warm water in absence of electricity. And if you stay here, you dare not miss the food he cooks. We have stayed in Himachal for many days and at different homestays. Sangat makes the best aloo parathas, poha and especially pahadi daal. The daal was so delicious and satisfying that my husband asked him for the recipe of it. I'd definitely want to stay here the next time I visit Jibhi and would recommend everyone to stay here. Thanks for the great hospitality Sangat. This was more than we could expect in the mountains.

I only stayed at Mandukya for a night and wished I stayed longer! This place is luxury in the mountains, beautiful villa with stunning views and modern amenities in the room. The loft was my favourite besides the 5 beautiful dogs in the property. Staff were very friendly, super responsive and made my stay worthwhile. A plus is that they run a full fledged kitchen, with digital ordering facility! Loved the overall experience.

The accommodation was excellent, making our stay truly enjoyable. The hosts were warm, responsive, and proactive. The food, served based on the menu, was delicious, with our top recommendations being Rara Chicken and Rajma Chawal. They also guided us to nearby attractions, providing clear directions. Additionally, Door Ji assisted us in coordinating with local taxi services, ensuring smooth travel and a hassle-free return. I highly recommend this cottage for a vacation—it’s a perfect choice for families or groups.

Sainj valley is a peaceful space. Cottage is good. And Mr Satish is further building a tree house. Best season to visit is April-May. Although we visited the place in January when winters were at peak. They provide you bonfire free of cost for which others charge Rs. 1000. Additionally the place is surrounded by deodar and pine trees and apple trees, which give you serene experience. And the best part is their cook Mr. Fatehsingh . He makes you yummy food and tea whenever you want. His best dish is his biryani veg/ nonveg both and kadak adrakwali chai. All in all a very good experience. Only one caveat: roads are little damaged due to rains but you can reach the place anyhow. No major issues there.

We had a wonderful stay at Akshay and Kiran’s place! The property is peaceful and beautifully maintained, with stunning views of the mountains. It was the perfect escape from city life. Our stay was the highlight of our travels through Himachal Pradesh. This is a hidden gem in the mountains. It takes a little while to hike up, about 1 hour for able bodied persons, but it is so worth it. The place is totally secluded high on the mountain, so beautiful, peaceful, and has a world class view. Om Prakash ji and Asha ji were wonderful and very attentive hosts. They cooked for us on our last night there and it was delicious. Om Prakash took us to the summit of Labhri top. He spent the whole day hiking with us and packed us a lunch of parathas and chai. It cost extra (1,500 Rs), but highly recommend it for those who like hiking and lead an active lifestyle. Pretty strenuous hike at times, but the view from the top makes it all worth it. The journey is quite beautiful too. All in all the place, our hosts - Om Prakash and Asha, and our time there was completely charming. We really hope to return soon.

The washrooms were spotless and well-maintained, ensuring a hygienic experience. The place felt completely safe and secure, making it perfect for a worry-free stay. A special mention to Mr. Lalit, who was extremely helpful and always just a phone call away. He made sure everything was comfortable and hassle-free. Overall, a fantastic stay that truly offers great value for money. Highly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable and serene getaway!
