Family-friendly vacation rentals in Bad Homburg

I was looking for a beautiful spot to spend a few days on my long holiday in Germany and what I got was a beautifully maintained, very well organized property with great amenities in a quiet village. I had incredible day and night views of Schloss Braunfels from my living room and patio area. I explored the village as I was in town for several days and the people who live here are charming and so helpful. I ate several times at Zum Solmser Hof where they serve German and Greek Cuisine and the family that owns the restaurant is just lovely. I absolutely loved my time here.

We had a fantastic stay at Heidi’s place! She met us upon arrival, gave us a tour of the house, and made sure we had everything we needed. She was incredibly friendly and accommodating, which made us feel right at home. The house itself was cozy, comfortable, and spotless, with all the amenities we could ask for. The location was perfect—convenient to everything while still feeling like a relaxing retreat. It felt like home from the first minute we arrived. Helga was available for any questions or concerns we had. Location was fantastic. Helga’s garden is beautiful. We absolutely loved every minute of our stay.

My stay in Hattersheim was really pleasant, the apartment was big enough and I felt like at home. Heating was working very well and in April it was not too warm. It was dog friendly apartment, which is for me of the utmost importance.

This is a lovely apartment, ideal for a week in the area. Dreieich is a small town close to all the major cities and very convenient for Frankfurt airport (if you are flying). There are good local restaurants within walking distance and the recently reopened “blaue Baume” on Lindenplatz is excellent. The apartment itself is excellent, with a two bedrooms and a fully equipped kitchen. Angelika was very proactive in communicating and offered help if we required any. Overall a great place to stay.

We felt very comfortable in the apartment. The apartment is large, nicely decorated and very clean. My dog was also welcome. We were greeted personally and very nicely received. With the S-Bahn, you can get to Mainz in 8 minutes and up in the vineyards you can go for very nice walks. Thank you for the pleasant stay!

I felt very comfortable at the place, was warmly welcomed and also well advised regarding the possibilities of supply in the nearby environment. I lived there over a training period and the idyllic area helped me to switch off very much. I highly recommend it!

We had a great time! Children (5-7) could play freely. There were different types of go-karts and swings, trampolines.

Simone is a very nice and accommodating landlady. Apartment exactly as described. Clean, cozy and equipped with everything you could need. Communication and check-in without any issues. Can only recommend it.

We were there as a family with seven adults and two toddlers (five and two years). The house is very spacious, the many bathrooms make everyday life with the large group very relaxed. The large dining and living room is very suitable for families. We had a relaxing evening on the terrace with a large grill. We also used the sauna and swimming pool, wonderful. However, the water was a little too cold for the little ones. The surroundings with playground, sculpture park, fountain park and graduation walls are wonderful. You can also take many excursions in the surrounding area. Sabine and her husband were always responsive and helpful. Communication went perfectly and there was a very friendly and relaxed atmosphere. Thank you again, we felt very comfortable.

The place is very cozy and has everything you could need, even the kitchen was well equipped, had a wonderful weekend there. Highlight were the garden and sauna/pool. The hosts were very helpful and answered everything quickly, we'd love to come back :)

Franks’s apartment was perfect for our family with two children. The place was very clean and very well equipped. And also we (especially our children) were excited about lots of (board) games and books. I was wondering, whether the location is good enough to reach the city center easily. The buses are working quite well and it took about 20min. to the center e.g. Mainzer Dom. But the Laubenheim itself is also nice to explore. From the apartment one can walk up on the wine hill, where you get a very nice view. Frank was a very friendly and helpful host. If you look for an apartment in Mainz, Franks apartment is a good option.
