Beautiful, quiet location, large garden. Room nice and spacious, large, open kitchen. Everything very clean and cozy.

Super nice house and nice quiet location to relax and come down! We felt right at home and were totally impressed by the accommodation. Restaurants, grocery stores, bakers and a small beach bar in the vicinity and total idyll. Many beautiful hiking routes from the property even without a car. The house was super equipped and totally well coordinated. Every corner of the house invited you to relax. Felix and Holger were friendly, uncomplicated and quickly accessible. We definitely recommend it! Not unlikely that we will come again:)

We spent the Easter days in the beautiful house in Hörste and enjoyed it very much. There was enough space in the spacious house for three generations and we were even able to have breakfast together on the terrace in the sunshine. Thank you!

We had a wonderful stay at this beautifully renovated home. It’s bright, clean, and tastefully designed, with a peaceful and private setting surrounded by nature. The kitchen is exceptionally well-equipped—perfect for cooking meals during our stay. We immediately felt at home, and our dogs loved it too. The hosts were warm and welcoming, making everything easy and comfortable. Highly recommended for anyone looking to relax in a beautiful, quiet place.

We booked this place for my mother's 60th birthday and found a beautiful, private and quiet house with a large garden. It was super equipped, ideal for larger groups and also communication with the hostess was quick and smooth. We will be happy to come back! *****

We stayed in March 2025 for 3 nights in the suburbs and it was fantastic. Despite the "main road" location (it was less busy than some dead ends), it was quiet and idyllic. The neighbors were very friendly, the baker right around the corner and Lake Dümmer 10 min. by car. The furnishings are traditionally and quaintly selected to match the house. The two gardens were also a dream and we will miss them the most. Thank you for everything.

The kitchen was super equipped. Changing table, high chair and travel cot were available for the young children. The bunk bed is in the children's room and is less suitable for large adults. However, there are also houses with normal beds instead of the bunk beds, which we did not know before.

Thanks to the detailed information about the apartment and the check-in, we had a great stay and were able to fully enjoy our time. Our host answered all our questions very quickly. The description and photos match and we didn't miss anything. The location was great - just a few steps from the rehab and about 5-10 minutes' walk to downtown. We were even greeted at Christmas time with a chocolate Santa Claus. If we visit Bad Essen again, we will definitely choose this apartment again!

We were very pleased with our stay. The accommodation was very nice and modern. The kitchen was well equipped. You could make beautiful walks at Dümmer See.

Great place, we had a good stay at Thomas's place.

We had booked a 4-day stay and wanted to celebrate Christmas with the family near the accommodation. But then everything changed. Thanks to Heike's flexibility and understanding, we were able to spend a relaxing time in the beautiful apartment (decorated with a lot of love, for every little detail). What a wonderful weekend we had, Sina's parents, Erika and Helmut, are very welcoming, helpful and cozy. Reception with "kaffee und Kuchen", every day the cozy tile fireplace was lit for us, homemade liqueur, fresh eggs on arrival.... Accommodation is complete and clean. Hereditary Willi greets you kindly. Lovely garden to relax in. Surroundings are beautiful, varied forests and peat areas nearby, lots of wildlife and birds spotted, beautiful walks made with our dog. Recommended !!

The bungalow is just beautiful and above all absolutely comfortable. We felt right at home, nothing was missing. The hosts were always available and absolutely friendly in exchange. The location is great, you just have to cross the road and are right in the forest. All hiking trails are easily accessible on foot or in a short distance by car. A beautiful place to immerse yourself in nature and escape the big city 😊 it was a wonderful short trip! 🤗

The country house apartment was just great! The apartment is very chicly furnished. It's easy to feel right at home. We particularly enjoyed the terrace. It was just wonderful to have breakfast there. Gesa and Heiko are very friendly hosts who also proactively ask if everything is great or if something bothers you. When we had an issue, Gesa and helped very quickly and easily, which we liked very much - thank you again! We would check in again without hesitation!

We spent a few days in the area to look at Hameln, the Externsteine and the Hermann Monument. The house is comfortably furnished and clean, it has everything you need. Beautiful large outdoor area for use, with grill and seating. Despite the location in the holiday park, it is a quiet location and relaxed atmosphere.

We spent the holidays in Dissen and the apartment was great! Everything was perfectly maintained, superbly furnished and clean. Communication was also very good.

My partner, our dog and I had a wonderful weekend in Horn-Bad-Meinberg. The place was exactly as advertised, we felt very comfortable and we didn't miss anything. Many attractions are not too far away. The quiet location of the accommodation was perfect to escape the ordinary, we were awakened in the morning by birds chirping, it was all perfect. Thank you ☺️

The family welcomed us very warmly – we felt welcome right from the start. The little house is lovingly decorated and equipped with everything you might need. It was particularly nice that our child was enthusiastic about watching the chickens running freely around the house. The surrounding area is ideal for cycling, and the property is fenced off from the street, so our son could play carefree in the garden. We had a wonderfully relaxing time and can recommend this place to anyone looking for peace, nature and a family atmosphere.

The bright, friendly furnished apartment in Carolin's farm is well equipped with everything you need. Carolin is helpful and easily accessible. The funny curious chickens roam the house during the day, and for young families it is a perfect place to stay with lots of sleeping places and space, tub and shower and well-equipped kitchen. When the fog lies on the adjacent fields in the morning in the morning, and you can see in the distance the historic windmill in the morning light, it is almost magical. Important to know: the adjacent road is extremely rarely used, but if, then they all seem to stop for a racetrack. :( With a fence, you would feel a little safer with a child and a dog.
