Family-friendly vacation rentals in Awaji Island

I spent time with 7 friends, but the fixtures, the number of rooms, the size, everything was great and we had a very pleasant time! The dishes and towels were also clean, the washroom was large, 3 toilets, and 2 shower rooms, making it very easy for a large group to stay! There was also a 24-hour supermarket nearby, which was very convenient.

Fantastic location, really easy to walk to main areas. Even though it was in a busy central location, the apartment was very quiet which we really appreciated. Shame there were not more everyday items like drinking glasses, cutlery knives, wooden spoon, iron but still good place to stay and great value for the location. Thank you for a lovely stay.

Dong was an awesome host. Very responsive to all our needs and solicitous. Very friendly and provided great recommendations for local activities. The airbnb is located in a quiet part of Osaka but still less than 10 minutes from the subway. It's a perfect base for exploring Osaka or going to Kyoto. The airbnb has decent sized living room and bedroom (for Japan). All in all, this airbnb is perfect for small families. I couldn't have asked for a better Osaka Airbnb.

Very friendly host. The train station was only 2 min away, which was perfect to get anywhere quickly. Everything in the place was very clean and there was everything you could need. My son and I were very satisfied.

Took me a few days before our flight to find the place as it was not searchable in Google Maps. It was searchable but in a different name. Neverthless, the place is complete with everything you need. Although a 7-8 minuted walk to the train stations, it is near the mall and 2 Donki's. Also near a supermarket. Will definitely book again if we come back in Osaka.

This place is amazing. Big spacious place to stay for a big group. We had a group of 9 and all of us had our own private spacious private rooms. Plenty of room for our stuff and common family area for all of us to hangout. Chul was very helpful with all the instructions the area was very nice and had many places to eat and stores nearby. Absolutely love this place and will be coming back again.

Amazing location and so close to a station. Responsive host. We very much enjoyed Ōsaka and would 100% revisit this home.

Xin was a very great host - incredibly friendly and responsive. I read reviews before booking and felt differently about a lot of things though. This area was great, but it is very loud, so you will have issues if you’re a light sleeper. The beds were not comfortable at all, they were super hard and actually hurt to sleep on. We were disappointed to learn that we could not use the lofts because there were only 3 of us, but Xin did offer to clean them and make them available after asking about it (which we ended up declining because our son was already settled in the other room and we didn’t want to create extra work). Overall, it was very dusty, there was hair and toothpaste splatters in the bathroom, and there was nowhere to actually unpack our things - every closet was full of stuff. None of this was a dealbreaker overall and Xin was super nice, so I’d still recommend staying at her place.

and it was a very comfortable and enjoyable trip.There is a river in front of you, a mountain in the back, and if you want to be assessed in a natural environment. There were two buildings, and it was a way to stay in one of them.Either way, you can prepare to have a BBQ, and it was convenient to use equipment, plates, knives, etc. that can be used as a wife to a certain extent. I would like to use it again if I have the opportunity.

it is close to jr or subway midosuji line, there is also a bath nearby, the second floor and the style room are more noisy, easy to hear the sound of upstairs and outside, other no problem👍 we have a total of 8 big 5 small check in

This facility was very satisfying in terms of both comfort and hospitality! The staff in particular were great, and from check-in to check-out, they consistently provided polite and warm service! They were very helpful with even the smallest questions, and their thoughtfulness made the stay even more comfortable!!! The facilities in the building were clean and tidy, and I felt that attention was paid to every detail.I had a comfortable stay and was impressed by the sense of security, as if I were at home. I strongly felt that I would like many people to experience a facility that provides such wonderful service.I'd love to stay again if I get the chance!

It is an excellent place to stay, there are all the amenities required, very easy to find and also it has everything you need around the area, also very easy access to the Metro station. Overall, a very neat and comfortable apartment for all your needs. I'll be happy to stay again there in the future.

This is my third stay. The bedding and towels are clean and comfortable, and I am always very satisfied. It's become a place that's hard to book, but I'd love to stay again if I get the chance.

Everything is excellent. Location great! Can see Tsutenkaku Tower from the balcony. The space just right for 3-4. Not more. Only 5 mins walk to Ebisucho Station. The place peace n quiet at night. ❤️❤️❤️

Our stay at Tony's place was great! We loved the design and our 4yo was a big fan of the multi-level set-up. Tony was super helpful, meeting us at the station and walking with us to his place, providing lots of information about the place and local surroundings, and even gave us a ride to the station when we left. Would recommend!

Willy was a great host, great communication, was able accommodate us for early check in. Place was super convenient to USJ and lots of good eats open when you come back from a long day out!

Hide and his home were so lovely! We loved Osaka and the location was absolutely perfect. Hide’s place reminds me of what airbnb’s were originally made for. It was so cozy and private but you can tell he really values creating a great experience for anyone staying at his place and sharing his favorite things about his home and city. Will definitely visit again

We had a wonderful time at Yoriko's house. Yoriko was an amazing host. The house was very comfortable, well equipped and had very generous breakfast ingredients, including ingredients for home made bread. Yoriko very kindly booked restaurants for us and gave us lots of tips in what to do. The house is within walking distance of the town centre. We enjoyed a hike up mount Bizen, and drove to temple 13 and walked from there to temples 14 and 15. We also visited The Naruto whirlpool. Great place to spend a few days. Wish we had more time.

We had a great stay! The bed and the pillows are maybe the most comfortable I’ve encountered in an Airbnb. Seriously I almost stole the pillow! It should be noted that the bedroom is one bedroom not two as described in the listing, but we noticed that in a different review beforehand and the owners quickly made a second bedroom in the third floor dining room. This worked great as we could separate it with doors from the kitchen. So it’s perfect for two couples. Just get it arranged that way ahead of time. We loved the neighborhood. It’s very central close to the train station and about a 20 minute walk from the main action of Osaka. In the immediate neighborhood, there are many restaurants and bars, but it’s very quiet at night. The water pressure and is great and it was lovely to have a washer and a little balcony. It’s huge as well. All in all, we thought this was a great find and compared to other places we’ve stayed in Osaka is the clear winner! Thanks so much!

This was the perfect place to end our vacation :) So many places to walk to, and so close to the station. There is also multiple subway stations in the area that made it so easy to go anywhere. The futon provided were so comfortable!! We really enjoyed our time here!!

Absolutely loved our stay at this hidden gem! The location is fantastic—quiet, safe, and just a short walk from great local shops and transit. The house was spotless, beautifully designed, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Every detail felt thoughtful and welcoming. Would 100% stay here again and recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful, authentic Osaka.
