The House in the Castle

My wife and I loved this place. It's a "hidden gem", probably "prettier" than the pics show. The main cons-difficulty is that there is a 4 kms road "complicated" to drive through BUT that's it. Then, you're immersed in a wonderful area, with views you'll forever remember, and a sunset you'll never forget. PLUS, Mario e Graziella are great people and you feel not only welcome but just part of their lives. Highly recommended place overall. Also, if you're into movies, the collection of DVD's by the owners is very likeable to enjoy on their very COZY living room. And if you're into movies, please try to watch one at the so called Sala Pegasus in Spoleto. Probably, the more iconic theater/ place I've ever watched a movie in.
A charming stone pathway leads through a landscaped area, framed by planters with green foliage and flowers. The rustic stone walls of the building create a warm backdrop, while the soft evening light enhances the serene atmosphere of the outdoor space.

Vacation Home

I spent a wonderful week in this exceptionally beautiful accommodation. The apartment is extremely clean, tastefully furnished, partly with valuable antiques. There is nothing missing: the kitchen is well equipped, towels and linens of excellent quality, perfect WiFi and two TVs (living area & bedroom). Very convenient: parking right in front of the entrance. Outside you can sit undisturbed in the shade or in the sun – ideal for relaxing. The cordiality of Laura and her family was overwhelming. They were always helpful, patient with my imperfect Italian, and we got along wonderfully. The location is ideal to explore Spoleto and many places in beautiful Umbria on day trips. I was very sad to have to leave again – my time there was so beautiful. I'd love to come back and highly recommend this place, even for longer stays. Thank you so much, dear Laura!

The house is in a small village where tranquility reigns and where you can enjoy the view of the mountains behind. The apartment is small but very clean and equipped with every comfort, from the pellet stove for colder nights to a comfortable bed, to the coffee maker with capsules. We really appreciated all the detailed information from the host to get to the apartment and the possibility of self check-in and check-out even after the indicated time.
