Villa vacation rentals in Austin

We enjoyed our staycation here. It’s only a 40 min from our house in Austin but it was a great getaway. We were very comfortable. The design of the villas is really nice (friends came over for a swim and they complimented the space) and we enjoyed the views of Hill Country and the pool from the balconies. The stars were more visible than what we’re used to. We brought our 4 mo old puppy and was easily able to entertain him. There’s lots of open grass and a dog potty area. We really wanted a place where we could teach our dog to swim. But no pets are allowed in the pool. Also the listing says a 9 min walk to the lake, but when asked, the property owners said it’s not walkable and that it is a feature Airbnb automatically puts on the listing. So just be aware if that’s of interest. I was told by someone that you can drive to a beach and swim with your dog close by. The Internet isn’t great. TV shows buffered. But we were able to check email, do a video call n watch streaming movies.

Travis was an exceptional host. He was quick to communicate if anything was needed and offered multiple amenities. The space itself is very private, great for photos especially around the lake, it's just you and nature. If the weather wasn't so cold we definitely would've hit the water. Hadn't ever heard of spicewood before, but would come again! Thank you again Travis!

If you are looking for a space to gather 10+ people and have a retreat, this is your spot. We hosted a bachelorette with 16 girls, with the hope of having a space where we could all relax, have quality time, and also have access to a night out in Austin. Everyone had a bed was comfortable. We LOVED the lakefront access and that we could open up the huge screen doors. While there we hosted a dinner with a private chef (could fit everyone at the table) and brought in a private workout class. Kim is THE BEST. She texted me often to make sure that we had everything we need and called me two days before to confirm how many beds we'd need and if she could stock the house ahead of time (too kind!). Kim and her space let me throw the bachelorette that my best friend envisioned seamlessly and for that I will always be grateful. Maybe I'll even come back for my own!

A great place, with great decor, tons to do and very clean!

Annette was always super responsive with any questions. I rented the houses for a joint bachelor / bachelorette party for 13 people. There was plenty of space, although only 3 bathrooms which made getting ready and showering semi-difficult. The kitchen was partly stocked with things like coffee, spices, olive oil, etc The pool and house were very clean. It was relatively easy to get an uber to go into the city for about $50. Overall, we had a great time!

This house is absolutely beautiful and so unique. We felt comfortable immediately and Kimberley was a fantastic host. If we decide to go back to the area we will definitely try to stay there again.

We loved our getaway here, and would love to come back, maybe for a larger family get together even. Weather wasn’t ideal so we didn’t get to enjoy the pool as much as we wanted to, but we didn’t get to go in for a bit and it was great!

Celebrated our 13 year anniversary and hesitated where to book and I found the perfect place at 7744 Ranch. It was quiet and had places to relax plus a spa and other amenities for anything you could want to do as a couple. We stayed in the Lux and the bed was so comfortable. Our host left us snacks that came in handy after being at the rodeo 🤣. Both Ronald and Natalie were the nicest people and living the best life. Thank you guys again for the stay can’t wait to make it a yearly trip 😍 next time I want the full weekend lol.

The place was beautifully designed and would highly recommend — especially if you have a baby or child. It’s fully stocked with all the things you would need. Only thing to note is that while it’s not in the city center the street does get a decent amount of traffic so just be aware of that. Overall though, I’d definitely stay there again.

The house was amazing with all the amenities we were looking for our time. The host was great. The area around house was beautiful and very peaceful for our group. House was very clean and the garage game room was a very nice addition related to the cooler weather during our stay. Not to mention the Tiny House gave extra privacy for people in our group!

Paul was and his Wife were awesome! We had been in contact with them since May in order to have our wedding at his property. Paul was very thoughtful and giving throughout the entire process. I would recommend others to have their wedding here, the scenery is gorgeous and the host is amazing!

Tom's place is even prettier than the pictures reflect. The description is spot-on, and this charming and peaceful house has a terrific view of Lake Travis -- even while sitting inside on of the two very comfy sofas. It's a perfect place for a weekend getaway and is not far at all from shopping; it's only about 25 min from downtown Austin. It feels like you're far away in the country, though. Tom is a great host and is helpful if needed but otherwise very laid-back. We'll hopefully be back!

The view is absolutely breathtaking, would highly recommend for a weekend getaway! Love the minimalistic style of home!

My stay here was nothing short of fantastic. This host was extremely responsive, and the property exceeded expectations. I had a large group and there was more than enough space for everyone to be there comfortably. On top of the experience, the rate to stay here was extremely affordable, making it an easy choice for my next group trip to Austin!

My friends and I had an awesome time at this location! Perfect for a large group, plenty of sleeping options, a few cute restaurants within walking distance, but the rest of town is quick drive away. Highly recommend!

Really cool place. Great amenities. Fantastic customer service from the owners. Great for couples and/or kids. Would highly recommend. The facilities are also top notch. Luxurious and well appointed.

Very nice and convenient place in a quiet and comfortable community. Bedroom and bathroom are clean.

Wow. Master class in hospitality. Look nowhere else. We won’t stay downtown again when coming in for a staycation. This will be our new home away from home after a night on the town. We felt right at home and it was great to sit out by the fire and watch the big screen. No detail left untouched. Natalie and Ron are amazing people. If there was an option for a 6th star they would take the cake. Great place close to town yet you feel so far away and still have the comfort of home.

Fantastic four night stay at 7744 Ranch. The hosts were so friendly and helpful. And the resort is gorgeous. You can see the quality and attention to detail wherever you look. We stayed in the Studio and it was perfect - just like the photos and description on the website. From grilling to using the pizza oven, each meal was a delight in the remarkable outdoor spaces. This is one great place.

Wow! This is truly an amazing stay! The house is just as pictured and host is so attentive. Beautiful, clean and inviting. The landscaping and grounds are so peaceful and private . The goats and chickens are purely a bonus, not to mention the gorgeous pool outback . This is a must stay for Austin . I will be back !
