Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Austevoll Municipality

As a musician, staying at Åse’s place was a complete dream! The peaceful environment, sonorous piano and guitar were a genuine respite from city life. And, Åse is the kindest and coolest BnB host I ever met. This stay in Storebø was truly incredible! Thank you Åse!

Our stay was fine, recommended, beautiful views, good parking and shops nearby. Public transportation so to speak around the corner. Giant friendly couple and helpful. Opportunity to wash on request. Dishwasher. Please note for the disabled there is a wide staircase with good handrail to apartment. But not accessible to wheelchair users. We will definitely be up for another stay. This Airbnb was exactly as described. We especially loved the central location from which we could walk to all the main attractions and areas. The apartment was neat and comfortable, had everything we needed and was close to great cafes, bars and a seven eleven. And great hot water and an interesting older layout.

We had a great time at this place to stay. The view is simply beautiful, even more beautiful than the pictures! The accommodation is very well equipped, nothing missing, and everything was perfectly clean upon arrival. We felt very good at home. Tusen takk:)

Always great to rent with Endre

Marita and Tomas are very nice, warm people. Marita greeted us upon arrival and showed us around and explained things (e.g., how to access the kayaks) in a very clear and unhurried way. They both did a fantastic job communicating with us before our arrival, and provided lots of helpful advice while there (e.g., recommendation of a wonderful restaurant in Bergen). Although Tomas and Marita live on the floor above the Airbnb flat, we never felt “crowded” by them. In fact, at my request, Tomas was able to respond immediately to come down to help us figure out the TV…and he was incredibly good natured about it. Location was terrific, too: close to Bergen and all it offers, including the focal museums, as well as minutes from an excellent University of Bergen arboretum & botanical garden. Highly recommend this place, as well as Tomas & Marita as people!

Amazing find! This place is absolutely magical— even better than the pictures! Being right on a fjord was a unique experience. The location is convenient, just a short ride to the heart of Bergen. Although our stay was brief, we thoroughly enjoyed it. Highly recommend this cozy accommodation to anyone seeking a memorable getaway!

We had been passing through and were impressed by the surroundings. Behind the house is a small waterfall, because we looked at it. The communication with the host was really great. The view was fantastic.

We had an incredible stay in this beautiful home with breathtaking views of Bergen and the surrounding mountains. Waking up to the sight of the city and fjords was a highlight of our trip. The location was perfect, close enough to explore Bergen easily yet in a peaceful spot where we could relax and take in the scenery. The large windows and outdoor space allowed us to fully appreciate the stunning panoramic views, especially at sunset. The home was spotless with cozy furnishings and all the amenities we needed. Our hosts were incredibly accommodating and made sure we had everything for a perfect stay. We highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Bergen, staying here made our trip even more special and we would love to return.

We had a fantastic stay in Ivar’s home! A lovely home with spectacular views across the lake. There is a regular bus into Bergen and lots to do in this beautiful city.

To get there without your own transport requires either a bus followed by an uphill walk, or a local taxi which are excellent but expensive. However, once there, we really enjoyed our stay at Mona's place: very comfortable, relaxing, peaceful with stunning views. It was lovely coming back after a busy day of sightseeing.
