Villa Aurlandsfjord - Studio flat in Klokkargarden

Welcome to Klokkargarden - the quiet pearl in Aurland! The old part of the house was built 1947 and we are now the 4th and 5th generation living here. It has always been Marit’s favourite place and it is growing on Espen as well. The new part of the house where you find your flat was was finished 2018. The outdoor area is still "work in progress" - but lift your eyes and you can see the beauty of the Aurlandsfjord. The flat is well suited for 2-3 adults or 2 adults plus 2 young children.

Charming house by the fjords

**NEWLY REFURBISHED IN 2019 - ** Our house has been rebuilt and refurbished for Airbnb, and we look forward to welcoming guests by the fjords. 2 bedrooms, each with a double bed (sleeping up to 4 adults), and a living room with a sleeping couch (sleeping up to 2 people). In total, a family of 6 can stay here. 1,5 bathrooms. More information and photos to come, we open our doors August 1st 2019! :)

Fretheim Gard. Architect designed cottage.

Side by side with the apple trees in an old, organic orchard – the oldest part on our farm, «Fretheim Gard» – you'll find it: Beautifully situated by the fjord in Flåm, only a short walk from the center of Flåm and station area. The cabin is architect-designed by Stiv Kuling and was completed in 2023. It's built entirely of Norwegian pine.

Very homey feel, excellent woodwork, beautiful decor. Kåre is very attentive, keeping things stocked and clean, all without being obtrusive. If there was one detraction, it would be the stovetop, with aging and flaking elements. This is a small things, compared to the positive attributes of the stay. We would happily stay again. Thank you, Kåre!

Great place to stay in this beautiful town. The other guests staying at the house were quiet and respectful. The accommodations are pretty basic, but all good. No complaints at all. We didn't use the kitchen, but it looked nice. Roaring river right next to the place. The restaurant in Undredal is phenomenal. I had a great time walking through town and on a hiking trail along the fjord with fantastic views. A unique and beautiful place to visit.

Lovely spot right on the river. Everything is as described. About 1km to the start of the Prest hike and waterfall. Don’t miss the Bakery in Aurland. Great pizza, hot chocolate, pastries and bread. We hired bikes from Flåm which helped a lot for getting around otherwise the distances would be a bit painful without a car.
