House vacation rentals in Auckland Central

Stayed in 10 Airbnb locations in 14 days and this was the best experience we had- right location in the best area ; very well kept and clean home; clear instructions for checkin and even allowed a late checkout. We had a wonderful experience in Auckland- thanks to our place of stay!

We had the most fantastic time staying at Villino. It really did feel like a proper restful holiday away. The reality was better than the pictures and we had a lovely long lunch just next door at the vineyard and walked down the road for an easy swim at the beach. The food and communications made everything so easy. Really hope we can stay again sometime.

We had a wonderful stay at Lee's place. It was a lovely house, was very clean and had lots of space for all of us. The area was peaceful, safe and had wonderful views of the ocean. Lee and Joe were wonderful hosts. We appreciated their quick responses and helpful recommendations.

Had a beautiful stay at this house, sam was so kind to let us check in much earlier after our flight and was so quick to respond! house was in great condition and super clean with plenty to do in the home. Thank you for letting us stay :)

What a perfect place for my son and I to stay while he was recovering from a tonsillectomy. It was very comfortable. The beds were cozy. The big theatre screen was perfect and just the entertainment that was needed. We loved the view. The location was perfect as we wanted to be close to Karkariki Hospital. Thank you again for allowing us to stay in your beautiful home.

This Ponsonby villa was the perfect base for my Auckland trip. Spacious, stylish, and full of charm, it had everything I needed, an upgraded kitchen, plenty of fridge space, great espresso machine, and a beautiful courtyard with pool, loungers, and outdoor fireplace. The rainfall shower might be the star of the house, it was a luxury experience. The bedrooms were cozy and quiet, and the open-plan layout made it feel airy and relaxing. Just a short walk (about 2,000 steps) to Ponsonby Road, with amazing coffee and breakfast at Dizengoff. Amy was a responsive and thoughtful host, she quickly fixed a door lock issue, which made me feel safe and well cared for. The house blends old character with modern upgrades, which fits the Ponsonby vibe perfectly. Even the recycling system (with 5 bins!) was easy to adapt to. I’d stay here again in a heartbeat. Highly recommend for anyone visiting Auckland!

Sarah’s home sits in a stunning location. When you walk in the view of the ocean and the bay by Palm Beach and the sailboats against the shimmering water and huge sky is just unforgettable. The house is big and comfortable and well stocked with everything you need. The salt water pool is the perfect temperature and the hot tub is hot and warms you up after swimming. The walking track is right in front of the house. It’s on a steep drive but it’s centrally located on Waiheke and easy enough to get everywhere. We really enjoyed our stay. A stunning property right on the waterfront with amazing views and direct access to the water. Francesca was very responsive, quickly responding to a couple of minor requests and was very easy to deal with, arranging a cot and kindly left us welcome treats. A perfect getaway on the beachfront. Another Perfect Stay – Highly Recommend! This was my second time staying at this Airbnb, and it was just as amazing as the first. Everything was spotless, well thought out, and incredibly comfortable. The hosts clearly take pride in the details, and it really shows. Peaceful setting, great amenities, and a smooth, hassle-free check-in. Already looking forward to my next visit – couldn’t recommend it more!

The house is in a very good conditions. The electronic appliances are very nice too. The host is very helpful.

We really enjoyed our stay . Location felt really private and away from main roads . Location was great only two stops on the bus from the wharf . Having the car available was amazing , made travel around the island so easy .

We recently stayed at Colin’s home for a week and completely enjoyed our stay. It was modern, comfortable, beautifully appointed, VERY clean, peaceful, quiet, with off street parking. The neighborhood was great for morning walks/runs and there was also a great coffee shop and local tavern around the corner. Colin was flexible with check in as well which was a huge benefit to us and greatly appreciated. We will definitely be staying here again!

I had a great stay at this Airbnb! The location was perfect—just a short walk to the city centre and surrounding neighbourhoods, which made exploring really easy and enjoyable. The garage was also a huge plus and made parking hassle-free, especially in such a central area. The host was very friendly and communicated well throughout the stay—nothing to fault at all. Overall, a very convenient and comfortable place. Highly recommend!

Awesome place, not often you find a home with a backyard like this one. My son loved running around, and had a great time in the spa. I appreciated the covered outdoor area, well suited for dining. The large living area was great for wheb my brother and his kids came by for dinner. Only a few minutes walk to the beach, shops, and restaurants. Would definitely stay again.

Had a great stay here for 4 nights when visiting for work from Sydney. Likely to visit the area again and would book this place without hesitation. Very comfortable and charismatic home. Plenty of space, a lovely outdoor courtyard, quiet and the hosts checked that we were settled and comfortable before leaving us to enjoy our stay, which was lovely. Thank you Holly and Daniel.
