Pet-friendly vacation rentals in Atsipopoulo

Μείναμε στο διαμέρσιμα της Κατερίνας τις τελευταίες ημέρες του Οκτωβρίου. Το διαμέρισμα είναι σε απόσταση 5 λεπτών από το κέντρο του Ρεθύθμνου με πολύ εύκολη πρόσβαση. Μεγάλο plus ο γύρω χώρος για παρκάρισμα (πολύ σημαντικό όταν πρόκειται για το Ρέθυμνο!!!). Επιπλέον, η πρόσβαση στην εθνική οδό είναι ιδιαίτερα εύκολη. Η περιοχή είναι ήσυχη και πάρα πολύ κοντά υπάρχει σουπερμάρκετ . Το διαμέρισμα είναι ακριβώς όπως εμφανίζεται στις φωτογραφίες - ευχάριστο, καθαρό και πλήρως εξοπλισμένο. Η Κατερίνα φρόντισε να μας το εξοπλίσει τόσο με είδη διατροφής αλλά και με τα απαιραίτητα του μπάνιου (οδοντόβουρτσες, οδοντόκρεμα, αφρόλουτρο κα) αλλά και να μας ξεπροβοδίσει με ένα μπουκάλι ρακί και ρόδια. Σημειώνω ιδιαίτερα το ότι ο σκύλος μου (ημίαιμο λαμπραντόρ - ~ 25 κιλα) ήταν ευπρόσδεκτος στο χώρο και απόλαυασε και αυτός μαζί μας τη χαλαρωτική διαμονή. Η Κατερίνα είναι πολύ ευγενική σαν οικοδεσπότης και θα επιλέξουμε να ξαναπάμε την επόμενη φορά. Ευχαριστούμε πολύ Κατερίνα.

We can highly recommend this accommodation. It's tucked away in a very secluded spot, which makes it wonderfully peaceful. At the same time, you can reach restaurants and a mini market in just a few minutes. A car is essential! The garden is stunning. The biodiversity is incredible. There's always something new to discover. The house is quite small and simply furnished, but that was absolutely fine. Everything was clean, and that's what matters most. The long driveway leading to the house can be a bit intimidating—it just slopes down without any railing or guard. But that’s just part of the Cretan charm. Giannis was always very friendly and helpful—thank you for everything! We also got to know the neighboring family and even visited them. Such kind people. And the animals! Aphroditi the horse, a peacock, chickens, and turkeys—our daughter loved them. Overall a great experience. We were very happy and would definitely recommend it. Who knows—maybe we’ll be back in a few years!

Superbe maison, très bien située , endroit très calme et reposant. Nous avons passé un excellent séjour. La maman de Gregoris nous a très amicalement accueillis et nous a fourni d excellents conseils. Je recommande sans hésiter.

We had a fantastic stay in Michalis's lovely corner suite. It was cozy, unique, and had everything we needed, plus nice extras like a washer, a second bathroom and street parking (just do an extra lap around the block). The location was ideal, with traditional windows opening to a garden and ruins, and it was a short walk to everything while being away from the Old City crowds. Michalis was an amazing host—very responsive, provided great local tips, and even took time to offer us coffee and chat. He’s definitely one of the best hosts I've ever met. I highly recommend this place and a stay with Michalis!!

Simply stunning apartment, glorious views and easy access to the little village of Kalyves. We spent most days by the pool and evenings eating at the many restaurants by the beach. The apartment is beautiful and well equipped, the views from the living room are stunning. Eleni is an attentive and very responsive host who looked after us extremely well. We will be back very soon!

Amazing location!! So close to everything. Fully stocked home! Lovely balcony area for afternoon relaxing. Kitchen/baths very modern and updated. We would highly recommend!! Welcoming host.

Harry was super friendly and provided us with lots of useful recommendations such as places to go and things to do. He was always happy to answer any questions we had and got back to us quickly. We were able to rent a car directly from Harry, he also picked us up from the airport and drove us to the property, which we found really helpful. There is a steep driveway to the property but Harry’s car made it easy. He showed us around the lovely Airbnb on our arrival and he also dropped us back at the airport after checking out. The Airbnb itself is amazing! We loved the outdoor space with the fantastic views, lounging by the pool and cooking in the outdoor oven. It is so calm and quiet, just what we needed. The local town provides a mini market and fuel just a few minutes drive away. With decent restaurants only 5 minutes away. A large supermarket was about 20 minutes away. So you are in a secluded spot but with plenty of amenities easy to get to. Highly recommended, many thanks Harry!

If you wish to experience a secluded garden by a non-travelled beach, almost like your own access to the sea, that is the place. A very good taverna is few meters away. Nothing best to let stress, driving, movida and consumerism behind one's shoulders for some days. Dimitri and his family have created a heaven of peace and a beautiful garden. The holiday-house from their parents is still decorated like in the 80s, but all the essentials are there. The generous welcoming, with a large basket of fruit, olive oil and salad from the herb garden, complete the feeling of coming home. Efkaristò! Many thanks! Rossella

Wonderful Experience at the Villa Elias! Our stay at the villa was perfect. The sea view was breathtaking, especially during sunset – a true sense of calm, quiet, and complete privacy. Choosing this villa was an excellent decision, especially because of the heated pool, which the kids absolutely loved. They enjoyed both swimming and playing in the spacious garden. The villa is well-equipped, with many useful items that made our stay very comfortable, including an air pump for pool toys. The location is also great – close to shops, supermarkets, and pharmacies. Just wonderful and more! Irini could not have been a more welcoming, attentive, wonderful host. The villa is amazing, tucked away in Adele with lots of privacy. A car is definitely needed and parking could be tricky. There for our son’s wedding and we did have a few experiences not in the guide book - 6.2 earthquake and sandstorm from Sahara but Irini was there, sorting things out, bringing us pastries and gifts. A truly memorable and fantastic time. Highly recommend both the gorgeous villa (cats and kittens included!) and our host, lovely Irini. Thank you for having us!

Had a wonderful time at this Airbnb! Location was superb, a great place for exploring easy reach of Chania and Rethymno. The town has 3 eating places, Monica’s was the highlight! Airbnb its self was so peaceful, with amazing views the outside space had been thought through with lovely dining areas and sunbeds, it gets the sun from midmorning to night. Would recommend to anyone, loved it!

Lovely villa sitting in the hills outside of Rethymno City. All self contained and immaculately kept and maintained. Very responsive host who was most welcoming. Nikos and his daughter Katerina did a fantastic job responding to our needs and making us most welcome. Katerina has superb English so communication was never a problem. Would thoroughly recommend. It would also suggest you need a car to get about either down the hill to City and beaches or up the hill to mountain villages and exploring. Pool is great and outdoor space around the villa is superb. Reccomendations - we followed up on a few authentic tavernas from Katerina and they were superb. Would defo go and eat at Athivoles Taverna in Chromonastiri. Only a short drive away ie 7 km but basically the most authentic Cretan cuisine you will taste for sure. Hits were magnificent. All in all we had a great family holiday.

Vi var meget begejstrede for at leje jeres virkeligt smukke bolig. Huset er helt fantastisk, det ligger med den mest fantastiske udsigt ud over byen, huset fremstod rent og pænt alle vegne, der var kælet for detaljerne overalt. Jeres værtskab, jeres service og vilje til at hjælpe os, med alt fra grundig introduktion til huset og dets faciliteter, ordring af fastfood, da vi ankom sent. Hvor finder vi en rigtig god slagter, bestilling af Taxa og flere andre spørgsmål, gav vores ophold en ekstra positiv dimension. Kombinationen af huset i sig selv og jeres værtskab, gjorde vores ferie til noget helt særligt. Som ganske enkelt skal have topkarakterer på alle parametre. Vi kommer helt sikkert igen. We had the most dreamy of times at the villa! Maria gave us a warm welcome and made us feel at home right away. We loved her hospitality and proactive hosting, giving us tips and recommendations of places to visit in the area. The place provided everything one could wish for, from pristine looking rooms to hammam showers, a fine gas bbq and shaded terrace, glorious swimming pool, comfy sofa and a kitchen chefs would enjoy. The surroundings are to die for. Sinuous roads and endless sea views, unique beaches, but also mountain hikes, gorges and wine tastings not far at all (car is a must). Closest taverna has delicious food. Agia Galini is a short drive away and offers all essentials should you need to shop, eat out, find an atm or go on a fishing boat trip. Thanks again for a fantastic stay! We will be back sooner than later!

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour dans une très belle Villa bien agencée, avec beaucoup de goût, très bien équipée et idéalement située près de Almyrida (Station Balnéaire très agréable et familiale). Nous avons pu pleinement profiter de la grande piscine chauffée jusqu’au soir et de la vue panoramique exceptionnelle sur la baie de Souda et la montagne. C’est un environnement calme,très appréciable pour se reposer. Jeanette & Joha ont été des hôtes très sympathiques , très réactifs et de très bons conseils pour les sorties touristiques et les restaurants. C’est un emplacement idéalement situé , proche de la plage et des restaurants d’Almyrida et à 45’ du centre de Chania. Nous recommandons vivement cette Villa et nous y retournerons avec grand plaisir. Bridget & JP

Wir hatten einen wunderbaren Aufenthalt in dem Haus auf Kreta! Der Ausblick ist traumhaft – genau wie auf den Bildern. Alles war sehr sauber und entsprach komplett der Beschreibung in der Anzeige. Die Gastgeberin war super freundlich, hat uns herzlich empfangen und uns eine kleine Führung durch das Haus gegeben. Bei Fragen war sie jederzeit erreichbar und sehr hilfsbereit. Wir haben uns rundum wohlgefühlt und kommen gerne wieder! Über das kleine präsent haben wir uns sehr gefreut. :) Schöne Grüße aus Köln.

Vicki was an excellent host, we were there for our honeymoon. She went as far as to get us flowers and champagne, which was a very nice thought, and she even helped me with car rentals and getting instructions how to get from the airport to her location. Overall, an excellent host in the place was very good. We were communicating over what’s app and it was very smooth and easy

Wir haben uns bei John und seiner Familie super wohl gefühlt. Vom ersten Tag an, wurden wir aktiv in den Alltag aufgenommen und haben uns immer sehr willkommen gefühlt. Das Zimmer hat alles was wir brauchten plus einige Extras 😉 Auf jeden Fall einen Besuch wert, da man von dort aus auch einige schöne Orte schnell erreichen konnte. Am wichtigsten war uns die dörfliche Lage,weit entfernt von Touristenhochburgen. Danke für alles

We had a short but wonderful stay at Dimitris and Danae’s villa, we were so surprised at how large and open the space is, it’s really a beautiful stay in the heart of the village on the mountains. We visited the Bistro owned by Dimitris next door, which do great coffees, smoothies and food- no wonder it seems so popular. Everything about this stay was perfect from the warm welcome we received to the privacy when relaxing by the pool, we would love to stay again in the future ☺️

Le logement correspondait exactement à nos attentes. Accès rapide pour prendre la route de nos ballades . Centre ville à quelques minutes à pied. Nous avons passé un agréable séjour. Excellent accueil. Hâte de revenir.

We loved this place. The balcony was very large with a direct view of the sea. There was a natural swimming area in front of the place that was perfect for a dip anytime. The sunsets were amazing. It is close enough to walk to the Chania city center, but a car is recommended to visit the many beaches on the island. Elpida was always available for any guidance that was needed. The place is a gem we hope to visit again!

10/10 experience. Breathtaking views and sunset from the balcony, perfect location right on the harbor - surrounded by all of the best restaurants and places. The apartment is beautiful - clean, modern, great appliances. (The washing machine even uses AI). The apartment is spacious, comfortable, and despite being in the middle of the action, it is so peaceful. I didn’t want to leave. I will be back here again. The hosts were incredible. Kind, helpful, proactive, and made such a nice experience for us. Thank you!!!!!

Violeta’s Airbnb was absolutely beautiful with a cool, boho-chic vibe that made it feel both stylish and cozy. The space was spotless and so thoughtfully decorated—we loved every detail! The kitchen was especially impressive, stocked with all the best amenities, which made cooking such a joy. Violeta was a gracious and responsive host, and we felt truly cared for throughout our stay. We’d absolutely stay again and highly recommend her place to anyone looking for a peaceful, beautifully designed getaway!
