Vacation rentals with a hot tub in Athens County

The Airb&b was clean, cozy and met all of our needs. It was very well kept and you could not tell that there were pets there at all. We loved the large fenced in yard which was perfect for our pets needs. It was a quick drive to downtown Athens and Strouds state park. Our host was quick to respond and very kind. Would definitely stay again when we come back to town.

We LOVED our stay!! The property was so magical and very private (our favorite part). The first day we were there, the sun was shining and we spent our time lying in the flower field. The hot tub was perfect and so comforting at night. The fire pit by the pond was so calming and the full moon reflecting off the water was so serene. Following the sunny day, we had a rainy day by the pond which fulfilled all my fairy garden pond dreams 🧚🐸 the frogs were active, the pond alive. Genuinely one of my favorite places I’ve stayed. There’s magic in the air. On the sunny day, we drove 20 min to ash cave and cold plunged under the waterfall. It was amazing. We had a 2wd car - it took a couple tries to get up the hill, but we were able to do it. We did not leave the property on the rainy day, we would not have been able to get up the driveway. So definitely keep in mind the weather if you aren’t driving a 4wd vehicle.

This is our second time staying at Amanda's place, and we plan to stay again! For reference, I stayed with my husband and two small children (1 and 4). If you are looking for a kid friendly place, this place is great. By closing all doors upstairs, our one-year old could roam around the kitchen and living room freely without getting into trouble. Our four-year old loves roaming around the patio and yard. We all appreciate the views and beautiful sunrises. I, personally, have enjoyed the coffee setup both times. :) Comfy, cozy, well-updated home.

Beautiful spot located just outside of Athens. Placed was perfect for a weekend gathering. The hot tub was a welcome treat and we also took advantage of the grill and fire pit. I'd definitely stay again when I'm in the area.

Rachel's place was very nice and I felt like I could ask questions if they came up! I recommend the stay if you're thinking about it. It is not far from Athens or Lancaster, so you can make trips to check out what is going on elsewhere.

The place was amazing! Loved the little touches of having labels for lights. The blankets were so comfy and cozy. There was a great book with instructions and FAQs. Corey was quick to respond to my message. The hot tub was the best way to decompress at night. Would absolutely stay again!

Home was super clean and well appointed. Kitchen was well stocked with all the necessities (pans, pots, utensils, etc.) for preparing dinner. Very open floor plan, and great for large families. Home is very quiet and private...lots of deer and other animals spotted on the way. Cell service was a little spotty sometimes, so make sure to look at your driving directions before you leave. Homeowner was very responsive to messages, and information given was accurate. We were lucky to book last minute and have the family together over the Holiday. Looking to book again for next stay in Athens area.

Fantastic solo stay! Most communicative, responsive host I've ever had. Very good, clear instructions about everything well in advance. BEAUTIFUL area and cabin! Plenty of great hiking locally. Needed some peace after death in family and this is an ideal spot and size for single stay. If I were single, I would live here. Would definitely stay again!!

Dran was great to work with and very accommodating. This place is beautiful and comfortable. Tucked away in the woods with a beautiful view....you'll have great family/friend time playing games and watching movies. Which was perfect, because the weather was icky. It's only about 5 miles from campus and super close to everything you could possibly need or want of you choose to venture out. We will definitely be back!! "Thanks, Dran."

This home was wonderful & inviting. It has a fantastic separate set up for the game/theater room. The owners sent a you tube video that was extremely helpful on how to use the theater system and popcorn maker:) Every detail has been thought of and supplied for you- including popcorn, movie theater butter, multiple popcorn seasoning. They even supplied chopped wood for the fire pit. My family and I enjoyed our time and would definitely return again.

Thomas was great about communicating from start to finish. The location of the cabin feels super remote and private, yet it's convenient to Rt 33. We stayed here during Moms' Weekend for OU. It was nice to be able to bring our dog to visit with my son. The hot tub was a nice feature, especially since it rained the whole weekend, and we didn't have much to do. The place was nice and clean. Definitely need a 4x4 to get up the driveway. The climb was steep, but even with all the rain, we didn't have any issue.

This was our second stay, Colton was very responsive and helpful. We absolutely enjoyed the hot tub after a long week and had some good laughs and fun playing pool and eating some good local food. Will be visiting again and telling friends/family of this little hidden gem.

We had a wonderful, peaceful stay free of the outside noise. This was perfect as we were visiting our daughter at Ohio University - only 20 minutes away! If you're looking to unplug, this is perfect complete with a hot tub. No wifi and cell service is very, very spotty. We didn't mind! Erin was extremely communicative as there was lots of rain in the area and she kept her eye on the roads for us. We would love to stay again and take advantage of the fire pit and walking the grounds.

Our stay was very clean and cozy. The basement was chilly on the first, but with some adjustments we were more comfortable the second night. It felt private and spacious. There were a lot of places to chill in and outside the cabin it was hard to choose. Overall a wonderful experience.
