We are pleased to host you in the oldest surviving building in the settlement of Pera Gialos. It was built in 1847, as indicated to the left of the entrance, by the merchant and notable of the island Dimitrios Michail Georgiadis, the so-called "Pasha", for his noble appearance. At that time, when the island was under Turkish occupation, the place served as a sponge warehouse, since the sponge industry flourished on the island, as evidenced by the copper pots that are preserved in the dome-roof to this day.

The airport is about a kilometer away. At the marina of Matezana you can watch the gulets return and buy freshly caught fish. The most beautiful beaches of the island, including the renowned Blu Limanaki, are minutes away on foot. The main village, Chora, is about 9 km away.
