You are staying in a former, completely renovated stable at our traditional farm, situated in a calm environment nearby the D-Day landing beaches. This cosy family house with private entrance has 3 spacious bedrooms (of which 2 family rooms) with each a private bathroom, a dining/living room with modern kitchen, a lot of outside space and playing possibilities for children. This pleasant cottage is located a stone's throw from Omaha Beach in the heart of the historic landing sites and served by La Vélomaritime. Its interior is warm and neat, its decoration very harmonious. The living room and lounge overlook a small enclosed garden sheltered from the wind. Shore fishing, sand yachting, kayaking, cycling, sightseeing, there is no shortage of activities. You will taste local products: cider, cheese, Isigny products, seafood. A great vacation ahead!

Lovely house near Omaha Beach

Had an amazing stay here and it is close to the west end of the beach. The hosts presented a brilliant comprehensive digital brochure about the house, local information and things to see. The hosts responded very quickly to any questions we had, making our stay all the more relaxing. The house, garden and surrounding area was lovely and quiet. Hardly any traffic passes through so for any recreational walkers or runners there are lots of nice country roads and lanes you can safely navigate. The local Omaha Beach Museum and cafe was a nice hidden gem, and did tasty croque monsieur’s.

We can't say enough about how excellent Carolines place is. We loved every aspect of it. sitting outside on our private deck/lani for early morning coffee listening to the birds and church bells in the distance was excellent. Bed was very comfortable and trust me I'm picky on bed comfort. We will absolutely be back, just perfect.

From the warmth of the welcome, the beautiful house and amazing gardens, the history, the graciousness of the building and the generosity of our hosts. It was impeccable. If you are visiting the Normandy beaches I can’t recommend this Airbnb enough. A truly special place that will stay with you for weeks afterwards.

Our third stay at FinnHus. The location is superb for Omaha beach and visiting numerous d-day sites nearby. It’s very atmospheric looking out at the beach and the sea from the first floor living room/kitchen and the bluffs directly behind. Good WiFi, very clean and tidy and meets all of our needs.
