Take a break and relax, hear the river shower over the dam. Cabin without electricity and water, with solar cell (for light, mobile charging) gas refrigerator, gas stove and outdoor grill. Wood burning. Outdoor toilet. Pure idyll. Little mobile phone reception at the cabin. The place has 4 beds, a double bed and a bunk bed. Remember to bring your own bed linen and sheets. Pillows and duvets are on site. Fire pit by the water and possibility to use a canoe. Finnskogen has a lot to offer. Fishing, hunting, berrying, forest walk, wildlife. Many paths and dirt roads to explore.

Idyllic house in Finnskogen

House on a farm close to Finnskogen and great natural surroundings. Older, well-maintained detached house in quiet and peaceful surroundings with plenty of space and a short distance to various nature experiences as well as the village Flisa. Good opportunities for various trips, fishing and a quiet life in the countryside. 25 km from the Swedish border. The location is "in the middle of Scandinavia". 60 km to Kongsvinger, 50 km to Elverum, 80 km to Hamar. The house is located on a farm where we, a couple in our 60s, also live with our dog, Perle.

Cozy cottage in Finnskogen

Cozy and family friendly house, proximity to forest and water. The house is close to the forest that offered lots of hiking opportunities. Branäs (a big, great ski resort) about 40 min away. Klarelva (about 25 min away) offers exciting fishing. If you are interested in hunting there is a short drive to Husuberget,hunting cards are sold on Inatur. Lake Vermund (about 10 min away), offers swimming and fishing, and a good lunch/dinner at Café Finnskog. Nearest convenience store is in Bograngen, 15 min away Gjesåsen climbing park (about 45 min away).

The cabin is set up during the war and is newly renovated. In addition to the bedroom, there is a single bed and sofa with room for two in the living room and loft with two beds. Fredly is located in the middle of the forest 220 m from car parking. 15 miles from Oslo. Bed linen must be brought. Guests must clean up before departure. NO PETS AND SMOKING

Welcome to our cozy cabin in Vestmarka in Våler, surrounded by beautiful nature and peaceful surroundings. The cabin has a simple, rustic standard with an open plan living and kitchen, two bedrooms and a traditional outhouse – perfect for authentic cabin moments without disturbances. Ski slopes only 100 meters away provide access to Blåenga and Vestmarka in the winter, while the summer offers great hiking trails and good fishing opportunities in nearby waters. Enjoy the silence, starry sky, and magical sunsets in the cabin.

Idyllic cabin close to nature.

A peaceful place in the forest where you can get your resting heart rate back. The cabin is located by itself with no visibility from other cabins. You don't have to travel all the way to Sweden to find an idyllic square. Lots of nice hiking opportunities just outside the door. Berry picking and biking are some of the things you can do here. Possibilities for nice forest swimming in the area. Rich animal and bird life. Live easily, close by.

The farm is about a 15 minute drive by car to the city, Elverum. A grocery store is about 13 minutes away. You should have a car to stay with us. You will find an operating farm, with tractor driving at times but also silence, nature, trees, fields and forest as neighbors. Occasionally you can see moose and deer on the land. Occasionally, it's the northern lights!
