The shower water pressure was amazing! We requested an early check-in since we arrived earlier than expected, and the host kindly agreed. However, it seemed like the cleaning crew was running behind schedule, so we ended up checking in later than the usual timing. Additionally, the previous guests took the TV remote, so we couldn’t use the TV at all. That said, the room was clean and tidy, which we appreciated!

It was a lovley and amazing place to stay. The surrounding is beautiful. I would surely be booking this place, if I am visiting there again.

We enjoyed staying here on our first visit to Timaru. Easy access to the large community park and Caroline Bay across the street. Beautiful decor and furnishings made our stay very comfortable. The windows kept things quiet and offered a terrific view of the bay. The patio was a great perk. We had a fun time on bikes on Hector’s Coastal Trail but the highlight was seeing a blue penguin at the port! Hope to come back again.

These apartments were much more than we expected! It would have to be the best place I have ever booked on AirBNB. The location is very close to the main strip. Tiff in reception is super friendly, accomodating and very helpful with recommendations of restaurants and activities. This is a terrifically run business!

It was a peaceful accommodation in Otematata. There is also a private central garden, so you can heal in the house. It was a clean accommodation with all the facilities that would be there.

Nice and clean. Just that we had a shock when we see there are other people in the house and other car when we return. Just to realize they are not able to access other part of house other than the studio room they are in. The studio room is in the same house, just that its door to the main house is locked and it has its own entrance. The listing did clearly list out that a studio room is attached. Just that we never expect that studio room is part of the house, not any externally link unit. Anywhere, the house is great. We just have to keep our volume down not to affect our “neighbour”.

Super cute space. The way it’s been decorated matched the age of the building. Loved all the plants. The bed was super comfy too. Enjoyed a few wines in the gorgeous wine bar attached.

Great quiet spot with lake and mountain views, perfect for a couple! It rained most of our stay so having a large living area was great! Access to a washing machine was a bonus.

Beautiful place...feels like another paradise on earth.

Great location, nicely furnished, lots of windows and sunlight. Washer provided but no dryer, so we used the drying rack. Also to note that there is one flight of stairs in the apartment, with the bedroom and living room upstairs, and the toilet and a spare closet room downstairs. Would be difficult to move our large luggages up the stairs so we just left the luggages in the spare room downstairs which still worked out okay for us. We had a comfortable stay otherwise. Host was responsive. Would recommend overall.

I’d definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting Lake Tekapo! You get to enjoy stunning views of the lake while staying in a clean, comfortable home — it really made our trip extra special.

We would recommend this place to anyone staying the night in Lake Tekapo! They have the best views all around, front view is of Lake Tekapo and back view is a golf course. The living area is very spacious perfect for a family trip. The beds and bathroom were very comfy and clean too.

Clean accommodation near the other villas. Happening place. Very clean and complete kitchen set! Would come back

Wonderful place and close to town. Easy check in, Clayton is a fabulous host and is responsive. Very spacious living area. Highly recommend to book a stay here.

Great apartment and handy walking to centre of town. The apartment had everything we needed, was warm, functional and very cosy. The beds were super comfy and a good nights sleep was had by all. Thoroughly recommend.

We absolutely loved our time in Tekapo at Lisa’s AirBnb! Lisa is an incredible host, provided us with so many local recommendations and got the hot tub ready for us every night, but always gave us privacy once it was ready. The hot tub was so blissful and was incredible for star gazing! We weren’t at the Airbnb much, other than for using the hot tub and sleeping so the size of it didn’t really bother us, but a heads up for others that it is quite small inside and was pretty tight for us as we both had large suitcases. I wouldn’t let the size of the Airbnb put you off though, as it’s a great Airbnb!
