Vacation rentals with a fire pit in Ashtabula County

The moment you open the door you feel at home. The house is beautifully decorated and has everything you need in the home and more! The cookies left for us were a very fun surprise and much appreciated! Before booking I had a few questions for Jodi to make sure the home was convenient to Spire and she was very responsive. We would definitely stay here again!

Wendy's Lakehouse was exactly what my husband and I needed for our mini-retreat after our daughter's wedding. We were mentally, physically, and emotionally exhausted when we arrived; but after a couple of days of complete quiet and privacy in the house, walking and laying on the private beach, listening to the water, watching the sunsets, and basking in the fresh Lake Erie breezes: we felt restored and refreshed. The only thing that disappointed us was that we couldn't stay longer... life rolls on! 😅 Within hours of our arrival we were making plans to return- next time with our 4 sons- as soon as possible! We even were dreaming about bringing future grandkids in years to come! 🥰 Thank you, Wendy, for providing this peaceful retreat!

Peaceful stay close to wineries and hiking places. House was comfortable, Kitchen had basic equipment. We went in the fall so couldn’t enjoy the river but the leaves were beautiful.

Perfect place for a girl’s weekend! House was done up super cute. Spent the majority of the time in the hot tub, which the weather was just the right kind of chilly for. Would love to be here when the pool was open and warmer weather to chill and eat outside. We didn’t get around to building a fire, but the pit area was nice. We ate all our meals out. Some good restaurants like Driftwood Point, Mary’s Diner, & The Farmer Butcher Chef Bistro. Wish we could have stayed an extra day or two!!!

Great stay!! Super cozy and I loved how quickly the place adjusted temperature when we adjusted thermostat. Coffee was tasty and the surroundings beautiful! Will stay again!

This house it great! It’s super cute, very comfortable, a great place to stay in and do nothing or to go visit wineries. The buzz are extremely comfortable and everything was nice and clean. The host Even left us a bottle of wine and snacks. They couldn’t make it any easier.

This place is absolutely great! Cozy, clean and comfortable with just about anything you might need right there for you. Ann provides special little touches to make you feel welcome and you can tell she sincerely wants you to enjoy your time there. Definitely on our list of Airbnb favorites!

Cozy yet spacious spot, welcoming & quiet.

This was a perfect place! Wish we would have had more time to enjoy it. My husband and I hope to get back to stay for a weekend. So peaceful and clean and super cute. Had a glass of wine at sunset and listened to the river then had a cup of coffee with sunrise and saw some turkeys. Great location, great hosts. Thank you both!

The space was perfect for us with our pup. Nice kitchen for preparing our meals, one of my favorite parts of renting. Living room was comfortable & outdoor space would have been enjoyable if the temp had been a bit warmer. Bed was comfortable as well. Linda and Gary were gracious hosts.

Ken was proactive and clear with his instructions on how to get in. Nice place to stay near where we needed to go. Near a main route so occasionally traffic noise could be heard but it didn’t bother us. Had everything we needed for our stay!

I had the pleasure of staying in this lovely little apartment during my visit to Geneva, and it was an absolute delight! From the moment I arrived, I was impressed by how clean and well-kept the space was. The apartment had such a cozy and welcoming atmosphere, with tasteful decor and all the amenities I needed for a comfortable stay. The bed was especially comfortable, and I loved the little touches that made the space feel like home. The location was perfect for exploring Geneva and the surrounding area. It’s tucked away in a quiet spot, yet still conveniently close to local shops, restaurants, and beautiful Lake Erie. It was the perfect base for my trip. The host was incredibly friendly and helpful, making sure I had everything I needed. I truly appreciated their attention to detail and prompt communication throughout my stay. The cabin was beautiful and peaceful. Super clean, had everything we needed. The location was great we went for bike week. It was great to go back to the cabin at night and not hear the loud sounds of bikes all night. The owners were very responsive. I set the fire alarm off with my blow dryer and I messaged them right away to let them know everything was OK and they got back to me within seconds. I would highly recommend staying here. You can see the beautiful lake from the view of the porch and can even walk down a beautifully constructed set of steps to get closer to the scenery. would absolutely stay again.

This cabin was the perfect spot for our little weekend getaway! It was very tidy with all of the essentials and more needed for our stay. Just a short walk to the lake for breathtaking views of the sunset!

what an awesome view going down the driveway to the cabin. Quiet,cozy and relaxing. Fishing was great. Small mouth bass and bluegill was what I was catching. We seen wild turkeys and deer and lots of different birds. Host was great in keeping in touch with us and the cabin was stocked up very well. We will definitely be going back! Thanks appreciate it! By far the cleanest and best little place we've ever stayed! Every detail was thought of perfectly and felt so welcoming as soon as we walked in. Highly recommended stay!

This place is awesome! We had other friends who had a BnB in the community. So many things to do close by and the hosts were so responsive. We will stay here again!

Overall our stay was perfect! As described and no run in with any insects/creatures. Checking in was very easy! They also went out of their way and left a little surprise in the fridge for my mother for her birthday. So thoughtful. I give 10/10 rating and would totally come back to stay if in the area again. Thank you Tony for a fantastic weekend getaway!

Nice view of the lake from the front porch. There are several cabins in a very quiet and well kept area. We plan on returning when the weather is nicer. The hosts are very responsive and there is plenty to do nearby. The cabin is super cute with all the amenities!
