This property is stunning - keeps the vibe of a traditional Japanese building with a perfect modern touch. Perfect for a family but a car is definitely required to explore the area.

The location is close to the main road, there are many restaurants around, there is also a supermarket. This house have 2 floors is quite comfortable for 13 of us, 6 adults and also 7 children. All bedrooms are on the 2nd floor. There are 4 rooms here, we only use 3 rooms is enough, there is still 1 room with a tent to play. And 1 toilet near stairs. On the 1st floor there is a kitchen, dining room, bathroom, toilet, and a large playroom. Outside the house there is a large yard, suitable for children to play Unfortunately we arrived here at night and only slept overnight, the next morning we had to continue our journey so we couldn't enjoy the facilities

The host was kind and responded quickly to contact before and during the stay. It was used by three families. The futons were also set in advance, so I was able to lay them out immediately, and there were also many toys for the children, so they were happy. The table and chairs for BBQ outside were also easy to understand and prepare. The building was old, but it was very clean and we had a comfortable stay.It was close to Kawaguchiko, and in the morning I was able to walk to the lake, and the location was good. Overall, we had a pleasant stay!Thank you very much.

Yuko's place was one of the best places we have stayed in Japan. First time having mattresses that won't make your back sore! The light blocking blinds were also a plus. The place was comfortable, clean and very cozy. We would love to stay again in the future.

Beautiful place secluded in privacy and serene. Place is well designed , clean , all amenities provided. Good place to stay with family and a place definitely recommended for stay. The view of Mount Fuji is just so stunning !

Tomoko's place has an absolute stunning view for Mount Fuji, and it only takes 1 minute to the yamanaka lake. we wake up at 6am, and are able to see the reflection of Mount Fuji in the lake.

This was one of my favorite places I stayed at during my entire Japan trip! Having a whole house to our group of 4 was amazing because there was just so much ample space and it felt like we were having such an authentic experience being in a Japanese home. Everything was maintained really well and the host was very responsive and helpful. It's a great deal for the price and the location is stunning and peaceful. I was anxious that the home would be difficult to find but it's a quick walk from the Hakone Open-Air Museum and has a Lawsons and a few eating spots nearby. Loved it and would stay here again. Everything is great, all kinds of facilities and consumables are very complete, the living experience is very good, there are many restaurants and a Family Mart convenience store within a two-kilometer walk, very convenient

I stayed for more than a month while working remotely, but I had a comfortable time cooking. The second floor of the LDK was spacious, and the stylish and bright space was lovely. There is a park in front of us and it was very nice to be able to see the greenery while spending time at the house. It was quiet at night and I was able to rest and relax. Also, the host, Misa, was very responsive and helpful. Thank you for responding to these questions and requests. It was nice to have decided to stay here.Thanks for your hospitality!

The hosts were very friendly. The modern living room and cozy tatami bedroom were wonderful! The bathroom was also very clean. There were plenty of kitchen utensils and dishes, so we used them well! There was nothing missing! I liked the accommodation so much that I didn't want to go back ~

We very much enjoyed our stay here ! The house is very large with 4 bedrooms, well equipped kitchen, bath tubs both indoors and outdoors and everything you need for a fantastic holiday. It is located in a peaceful forest area away from the crowds. If you have a dog, there are also plenty of facilities for your pet. Very easy to get from the house to Lake Kawaguchi and Chureito Pegoda, the 7 seas of Oshino, many temples, gardens, museums and also the F1 racetrack. If you have a car, this home is a perfect base to get everywhere. We really felt at home and enjoyed that everyone had their own bedroom with comfortable beds.

I stayed for three generations in the New Year.It was spacious enough, and the kitchen and bath were clean and easy to use.The host, Toshiko, was always quick and polite, and gave us the transportation information for the New Year in advance.I would like to stay there again.

It was a very nice cottage!! After all, the barbecue was warm, and I was happy that it was not cold at all at this time of year! The staff who showed us the room and the front desk staff were also very kind! The bonfire didn't go up at all, and it was nice, so I want to stay again! Thank you so much!

It was a retro atmosphere like an old house and a Showa-like accommodation.

This place was a wonderful stay for me and my guests. The views were amazing, and the private onsen was amazing to use. The only thing I have to note which is not the the fault of the location, is that it is not really walkable. the closest bus stop is around 500m down hill, and walking all of your luggage up the hill is a very hard task on a very small road. other than that, and the AC being a bit difficult to figure out in English, the place was immaculate and we will definitely be coming back if we are in Hakone again, next time with a car.

The living room on the second floor had a great view and a sense of openness as pictured, and the whole family, including my parents in their 70s, were delighted! If the kitchen had such a nice view, I would be happy to cook every day. I felt luxurious with the high-quality tableware and furniture. I stayed one night, and the first day was rainy and the second day was sunny, so I was impressed by the sunny day. The kitchen, bathroom, and toilet were very clean and very pleasant. The bath was spacious and the floor was soft, so it was safe even for a 1-year-old, and I was satisfied without going to a nearby hot spring! The facilities and location were great, and the host's messages were accurate and quick, making it a very memorable experience. Thank you!

Really lovely place with responsive host. During cold season, house is extremely cold - thats the only issue but can use air conditioning

Love it, it's a perfect home, the dog has been happy for the past two days, thank you. There are supermarkets nearby and it is very convenient.

This location amd stay was perfect. Communication and coordination with Yuki was perfect. The staff on site was amazing, and I'd like to give a special praise to Chang (spelling may be wrong). There is nothing that i felt could be improved upon. The only recommendation i have for guests is to request clarity on the exact location. It is very remote and peaceful, which means it can be difficult to find if only using AirBnB directions.

Fit for big family stay! Everything we need is informed by the host before we stay. The location is perfect for going shopping and natural hot springs.
