Our stay at Fare Tekea was perfect. We decided to stay at an Airbnb for 3 nights to explore Moorea before staying at the Hilton Moorea and could not be happier with our stay. The house is centrally located on the island and very close to a grocery store which made driving to excursions and picking up supplies very easy. The pool had incredible views of the surrounding mountains and the house was immaculately clean. Hiva and her husband were fantastic hosts - responsive and helpful, providing great local recommendations. Great stay, great house, great hosts.

Gilles bungalow is perfectly situated just in front of the corral beach. There are paddles and kayaks you can use and nearby motus are close enough to visit by water for snorkeling. Just by 100 meter away from the beach front, we spotted rays and friendly sharks. If you are up for a little longer ride, you can kayak to coco beach where you can see tons of fish and rays as well. Gilles is very friendly and everything about the bungalow was exactly how they are described on the listing. My husband and I had such a memorable stay at his place. Highly recommended!!

We had the chance to stay at this beautiful house from January to April, and we are delighted with our experience. The house is clean, welcoming, well thought out, and ideal because it is close to everything. But what really made the difference was the exceptional hospitality of Vaimiti and Michel. Their attention to detail and care made our stay even more enjoyable. We came back this year and plan to come back again. A big thank you to Vaimiti and Michel for their hospitality, they really know how to make a stay unforgettable!

What a unique home! Polynesian and modern art, fruit on the trees, and silly dogs. Our family of 2 adults/2 kids had a great time here. We especially loved the pool and outdoor area. The home is designed to be somewhat open air (ventilation at the top of some walls) to keep it cooler. We kept the bedrooms closed and never had a problem with bugs. It was very warm most days (in February, 80s F) so we did use the AC in the bedrooms. The dogs are very friendly (we love dogs) and were entertaining security guards. (Note to keep things out of reach from them because they did decide a couple of our things were good chew toys). Also - Alex's lagoon tour is an absolute must! Worth every penny and it was magical. (We've snorkeled the Great Barrier reef and Belize and it blew those out of the water...no pun intended)

The stay at Anne's was great; a real little cocoon to recover from the trip from the metropolis! The accommodation is well equipped and furnished, in a quiet and well located residential area. Our host was extremely welcoming and full of good advice, always ready to help. If we could, we would have stayed with Anne again during our stay in Tahiti!

David and his wife hosted us perfectly. Communication with the host was very good and our arrival was carefully prepared! The lodge is located at the foot of Mount Rotui and the view is magnificent, however it is far from everything so a vehicle is essential. We opted for this solution by renting the car from David! Regarding the accommodation, it is very well-equipped. We stayed as 3 adults and 1 child for 9 days. The beds were well suited but there is no partition... To sum up, clean accommodation in the heart of nature with very welcoming hosts. Great for a couple!

Our family of five stayed at this beautiful property over Spring Break, and it was an unforgettable experience! Moorea is breathtaking, and the home’s location offered easy access to amazing hiking, plus a dock and beach that made snorkeling, paddleboarding, and kayaking effortless. The marine life was incredible—sea turtles, lemon and blacktip sharks, rays, eels, and countless tropical fish. One unforgettable day, a large pod of dolphins played just beyond the dock. The dock itself was a fantastic perk, making snorkeling and swimming even easier. The home has stunning views of the bay and mountains, with plenty of space and great sunset vantage points. The outdoor shower and bathroom were perfect after time in the water. This property and location are truly amazing. Thank you for sharing this wonderful place—we are so grateful for the experience!

Our stay here in Moorea could not have been better! The beauty of the location was beyond our expectations. We loved waking up and walking out our back door and out ino the warm water seeing rays and black tipped sharks. The kayaks were a fun workouts. The bed was so comfortable and the A/C worked well and kept us cool. We already miss our Moorea home away from home. Joy was helpful, from the first question after I booked until the day we left. Please note that the A/C is only in the bedrooms and the only TV is upstairs in a room without A/C. I didn't realize at the time of booking but now I'm glad because we loved our stay. I whole heartedly recommend staying here.

We lost power in a HUGE thunderstorm and Chris was very responsive to get back to us as to how to restore power and lights with the fuse box. Unfortunately the "funicular" was out of service for about 24 hours and we walked 10 flights of stairs twice, however this was out of Chris's control. We liked the view very much.

Impeccable for a great weekend with family and friends. Maroura's accommodation is spacious, very well-equipped, quiet. Close to Tipaniers beach and restaurants and shops. We'll be happy to go back if we come back to Moorea!

Sophie's fare is beautifully located and matches the descriptions. Even more beautiful than the photo shows. Sophie is very kind and welcoming and hosted us very well. The faré is extremely well maintained and the bedding is excellent. We would highly recommend Sophie's fare.

We were extremely happy with our stay at Christophe’s place. The home was beautiful and spacious. The property was huge and extremely private. Our favorite thing about the house was the private beach. The two kayaks were great and we used both the single and double to paddle out and explore the crystal blue water. When we come back to Moorea, our plan is to go back and spend more time at this amazing property. Thank you for the hospitality.

Karine and JoJo's place is a peaceful oasis, and they are lovely hosts. While you need to drive to most activities and restaurants, it's lovely to return to a quiet neighborhood and a private little beach area. We made use of the kayaks almost every day, which was a huge highlight (as was the washer - it's amazing how dirty you can get hiking in a a tropical rain storm!) Sunrise on the water is amazing! Saw plenty of fish and rays throughout the day. The pension has several houses, some of which are smaller and located closer to the water. This one is about a two minute walk to the beach. We loved the space of the two bedrooms (and the a/c was a must at night!) in this particular fare, but if you're dreaming of waking up to have coffee and stare at the ocean, one of the one bedrooms is probably a better fit. All in all a lovely stay. We're already missing it!

Great value for money. The accommodation is functional, nothing is lacking. It is located on the heights, overlooking all the beautiful black sand beaches of the east coast, from Mahina to Papenoo. We will definitely be back. Great hosting.

Accommodation located close to the airport, here was at the top to welcome us and meet our needs, we will return to this accommodation if we return to Tahiti!

Manea and her family's house is simply exceptional: location (“big screen” lagoon view) and interior layout, the whole thing has crazy charm. Communication with Manea and Florence was very fluid, nothing to say, they went out of their way to help us have the most pleasant stay possible. Thank you!

A very nice meeting. Marie-Lou and Gilles were very welcoming, caring and had good tips to facilitate our stay in Moorea. They also shared some very interesting anecdotes about Polynesia. The accommodation was very clean and well-equipped with a beautiful view of the lagoon. Shops are nearby, I still recommend having a means of transportation to make the most of the beauty that Mooréa has to offer. Marie-Lou's small touches were appreciated. Māuruuru maitai!

This place has amazing energy from the second you step onto the property with all the essentials and more. Super close to the beach in a lovely secluded community, safe and secure with friendly neighbors and gracious hosts. Huge bonus that the shared living spaces have air conditioning— hard to find in French Polynesia! Can’t wait to return.
