We had a fantastic stay at Jean's home and he was a wonderful host. Our group of eight (six adults + two toddlers) stayed for four nights and loved every minute. The home itself is beautiful and has tons of historic charm. There's lots of space indoors and out to spread out - we felt like we had lots of privacy. Views of the main house and the grounds are beautiful, and our kids enjoyed exploring the trails in the woods. Home was clean and comfortable. Jean was a warm and welcoming host. He was helpful with arrangements before our arrival (like setting up crib/high chair for the toddlers), and answered all of our questions. He was also very thoughtful throughout the stay, for example bringing over toys for our kids to play with and helping when we had questions about appliances. My family is still raving about their experience at Jean's home. We'd highly recommend as a place to stay. Merci, Jean!

Thanks to Séverine and Stéphane's warm and comfortable and very well-equipped cottage, we were able to reunite our family and have a good Christmas together. We enjoyed the bucolic environment (the Touraine countryside and the presence of our animal friends: sheep, goats and chickens!) as well as the tranquility of the place. The description of the cottage is as described, the owners are discreet, responsive and welcoming. We highly recommend this vacation rental for families who would like to discover the beautiful natural and cultural heritage of southern Touraine (Beauval Zoo, Grand Pressigny Museum of Prehistory, Loches Royal City, Montbazon Fortress...). This accommodation is really perfect: it is very comfortable, very well equipped and very well decorated. The beautiful garden makes it a little slice of heaven. Finally, his host Michel is very welcoming and friendly.

This charming house offers beautiful living spaces, pleasant and bright. It feels like home quickly. The renovation is tastefully done and the terrace area is a real plus. Evelyne and Pierre are very nice and have good advice.

Very nice house, superbly equipped. The exteriors are splendid with the pool, the soccer field, the games… A peaceful oasis. Magic in the eyes of our children. We had a great vacation in a beautiful area. There are pretty things to discover (castles, animal park, walks along the Loire, Chinon, Saumur, Tours). Noémie and Aurélien are very nice and respond quickly to your requests. We won't hesitate to come back. We recommend their home.

We stayed two days and two nights, the accommodation is very functional, we didn't miss anything. Great for a family weekend, the jaccuzi available is very nice! The play area for younger guests was very much appreciated. Ambre is very available by message and very responsive, good advice, very accommodating too. We would highly recommend it, and if we have to come back to the area with family, we will come back 😊

Magical. The house and yard are amazing. We stayed for 6 nights. Surrounded by fields of yellow flowers, the charming farm house has a beautiful cooks kitchen with an island that easily sat 6 people. Our young grandkids could not get enough of the swing set and toys that are available, while our daughter and son-in-law enjoyed the ping-pong table. The yard space, with nice details, was extremely well kept. We ate outside and enjoyed wine on a bench under a beautiful tree. It was just perfect. All of the bedrooms were very comfortable and had great views of the countryside. Herve was very responsive and met us when we arrived. We were blown away by how beautiful this place is. It's better than the photos.

Nice welcome, nice little corner with access to a garden, very well furnished. The chic of the old but revised with a little modernity, for example: exposed beams but in a clear hue to gain brightness. Very quiet area and possible visits are numerous in the area. Tv available for rainy days, no direct shared ownership, so you only hear the birds. I enjoyed the two chocolate cuteets... In short, if we go back to the area, I'll try this address first.

We just spent a few days of rest and beautiful visits at Grégoire's a very welcoming and available host. We particularly enjoyed the private tour of the chatelet thank you very much as well as the proximity of many castles. Recommended!

Cute house with all the comforts and a very quiet environment. Clémentine was clear in her instructions, generous in her tips for visits and pleasant to have met her and her spouse. Available and to be noted because rare: oils, vinegar, sugar, salt, pepper, tea, coffee + towels, microfiber, bath mat + cleaning products. Super U is a stone's throw away. This home will take care of you if you want to find a place in the heart of nature, authentic, accompanied by a remarkable architectural soul. Our hosts were lovely and attentive to our well-being! A stay that we will repeat to enjoy other seasons in the surrounding woods. The location is ideal for visiting many castles, and at the end of this island, Langeais and even Tours are nearby!

Beautiful house for a short or long stay! The house has everything one needs and more! It is spacious, very clean and nicely decorated. We did not have time to use it, but the outside space was wonderful as well. And it is well located for day trips! We went to Loches, 20 minutes east, as well as to Chinon, 45 minutes west. Because it is also less than 15 minutes away from the highway we will try to book this place again next time we are in the area.

Charming Touraine farmhouse located in the heart of Ballan Miré on the village square with all the shops nearby. Vintage and flea market lovers will love the decor, we were warmly welcomed by Karine and had a great time.

The location was perfect, being in a quiet beautiful village just outside Villandry, only 8 minute cycle from the entrance to Villandry Chateau. Unfortunately the sign on the cottage said “Gite des Chateaux de la Loire” and not “La Basse Bergerie” so we cycled past it twice before being redirected by a local. The accommodation was spacious, clean & comfortable and perfect for our needs.

Simply a fantastic place! Airbnb don’t come any better. The place is stunning, in a scenic and very quiet location, in the midst of vineyards. Anne is such a lovely host. Helpful and kind, communication great, so hard working! She even fitted a wine tasting in for us after an extremely busy day in the vineyards. We would go back tomorrow if we could.

We really enjoyed our week staying at Montauger. The barn conversion annex was excellent accommodation, very clean, comfortable and well provisioned. The swimming pool, pergola and evening sunsets were out of this world and a perfect way to relax after a day of sightseeing in the Loire Valley. Patrick was super kind and friendly with lots of good recommendations for things to see in the area, and was always on hand when needed. Also we brought a 4 month old baby with us and the property was perfectly well set up to accommodate. Probably only 30 mins from central Tours, we found this a great base from which to discover the great chateaux and vineyards of the region. I would recommend the property to anyone.

Host was quick to respond and accommodation fantastic. Very clean throughout and nice grounds and pool for children to enjoy. The recommendations in the guest book were helpful.

Excellent location and stay- will definitely be back!
