Roberta's listing was everything and more. You are in a safe area with security holding down the front 24/7. The place is spacious and can accommodate your party comfortably. We had help keep our place tidy, which was wonderful considering we were all on vacation. Roberta was communicative and efficient with responding - sharing her local recommendations and truly made it feel like we had a friend in Rio. Views from every room, it was difficult to decide which one to select (considering I was the birthday celebrant!) I'm the type of traveler who likes being away from the city and enjoying more local areas. It is close to the city, however, be cautious that traffic will make getting to city attractions a bit much longer (but it is worth it)! All in all, the place is affordable and definitely worth it!

Great house, great location, had a lovely stay with my family, would recommend to anyone not scared of stairs!

The stay was incredible! I and my friends fell in love with the house, Mariana from the beginning was very attentive and Didi didn't even talk, we arrived at the house and we were amazed at her energy, very helpful, right from the start she showed us the house and the animals (which are beautiful), in addition to that she bought and made breakfast for us! We loved everything and wanted to have stayed longer, me and my friends are already planning the return, not only to the house but also to the loft which is the most beautiful thing too! We simply love and want to return as soon as possible.

A secluded safe condominium haven close drive to the beach and all necessities. A stunning garden and tasteful, impeccably up-kept house with best linen I’ve experienced in airbnb. Pool and luscious garden setting was a bliss. Lucia was an amazing host, I am very happy to have spent a week there! Absolutely recommend.

Giant house, ideal for our trip, which was a bachelorette party. He treated all the women hosted super well! Very well organized house, spacious and clean rooms, comfortable. Living room combined with the kitchen, with a large space, accommodating up to a couple to sleep on the sofa. Fully equipped kitchen, barbecue area with freezer, large table. We had no problems with the boat to make the crossing at any time, not even at dawn. I just remembered to bring repellent, as it is on an island, there are a lot of mosquitoes.

nice place with good vibe. really nice how you have privacy here, on the hippest part of Santa Teresa, but you have privacy. a few drawbacks: - Hammocks get wet in rain and dry slowly - you get a lot of stung by mosquitoes. outside and also in bedroom (everywhere they can go in) - there is a regular eruption of dog blown. If you can't stand it, you should not stay overnight in this street. kitchen is well equipped. There is a very good restaurant nearby (armazem? on the corner diagonally opposite).

It was an amazing trip, I felt very comfortable, the house met all expectations, each beautiful tidy, the rooms are very fresh with air conditioning, the neighborhood is very pleasant and access is very easy The experience was sensational Thank you so much, I want to go again ;) Until next

Amazing place in Vidigal! The view and the terrace is unbeatable. Saulo and the other hosts were very helpful. The place is ideal for 4 people, but could fit more if needed. We felt very safe and it is easy to reach once you understand how the transport works. Can definitely recommend!

House located in a safe village with local shops nearby for small purchases and breakfast. The house has a very large living room that allows a large group of guests to socialize. Atmaja is always quick to respond to all our questions. Upon arrival, they consulted us on how we would like the beds to be arranged in the rooms to best suit the group.

The property is pleasant, easy location, as well as, clean, organized, has bed and bath linens, utensils. I recommend it. I thank the host for all support, clarification, whether before booking, during, and after the stay.

The location is quite good, and the communication with the hosts was very easy. Both were very kind to me. My only main downsides are the following. 1) This place has stairs, and, from my experience, one needs to use them a lot. So, do not go for it if you have any mobility impairment (or temporary mobility problem); otherwise, it is completely fine 2) No washing machine, although there is a laundry nearby on the main street. If neither is a problem for you, I recommend the place!

I recommend totally this place, the house/apartment are great and in excellent conditions. Is a very private place to relax. The hosts are wonderful. All in our stay was ok.

The place was super tidy and had two bags of cookies on the table for us when we arrived. Carolina was very kind in being flexible with check-in, she always responded quickly, the place was super clean and really is very close to the subway, you can walk. The neighborhood is also very safe. I recommend it.

Thomas has a lovely house on Ilha Primeira. I visited for a week to attend an online meditation retreat, and the house was perfect for me. It has a nice, simple, but tasteful decor. The upstairs bedroom / living room space is very bright in the day and cozy at night. The kitchen is quite improvised, but good enough for me and fairly well equipped. The temperature in the house was always comfortable, and it had a powerful fan and portable air conditioning unit in case I needed it. The projector and speakers were a bonus! The internet was very stable and fast throughout the house — though during a storm we did have an unexpected power outage for a couple of hours.

We had an absolutely amazing stay at this apartment in the favela of Rocinha! The view was out of this world, we could see the Christ the Redeemer statue and the entire city stretching out before us. The house itself was spacious, comfortable, and fully equipped with everything we needed. The kitchen had all the essentials, the bed was cosy, and the internet was super fast (around 200 Mbps). There are supermarkets and restaurants nearby, as well as convenient mototaxi and van stops to quickly reach the base of the favela. Our host, Jordão, was incredibly friendly and helpful. He gave us a fantastic tour of Rocinha, showing us stunning viewpoints and giving us real insight into daily life in the favela. One of the highlights was attending the famous weekly baile funk party, a unique and unforgettable experience. We truly have no complaints and would recommend this place to anyone looking for an alternative way to experience Rio. Rocinha is a vibrant neighbourhood that never sleeps!
