I had a wonderful stay! The surrounding area is beautiful, with a lovely park just a short walk away — perfect for relaxing or taking a stroll. The hosts were very friendly and hospitable, always ready to help if needed. The accommodation had all the necessary amenities, making it a comfortable and convenient stay. Highly recommended!

We had a delightful stay at Nicole and Juergen’s house. Nicole was away and Juergen dealt with all of our questions and requests quickly and without any fuss. He was always happy to help, and very friendly, whatever our problem. The house itself was lovely, full of little things to make us feel right at home. It’s a 10 minute walk to the supermarket and a 5 minute drive to a beer garden with a playground, or into the city or the railway station. Would thoroughly recommend a stay here 😀

We spent New Year's Eve in a group of four families and numerous children in the house of Susann and Sebastian. The villa is really well renovated and excellently suited for a cozy and private experience on the large Gleichberg. Communication with Susann was always very direct and friendly, we were even allowed to put a sauna in the driveway. We can really only recommend the villa of the two for group vacations! Always happy to come back.

We had a very nice weekend with the whole family in Römhild. It is very convenient that each room has a bathroom. The dining table offers enough space for everyone, but you can also divide yourself through the different seating groups if a few people prefer to play cards and others prefer to chat. The surrounding area is nice for longer walks and you can pick a lot of wild garlic.

A perfect retreat in the Thuringian Forest We had the pleasure of spending a few days in this beautiful cottage and it was just amazing. The location is incredibly quiet, ideal for those looking for relaxation and recreation. The spacious garden invites you to linger and offers plenty of space for outdoor activities. The modern decor of the house is stylish and comfortable, which made our stay even more enjoyable. Particularly noteworthy is the proximity to an excellent restaurant serving delicious local specialties. For families with children, the nearby playground is a big plus. Overall a wonderful place to get away from it all and enjoy the beauty of the Thuringian Forest. We will definitely be back!

The Finnhütte is picturesque, very quietly located on a mountain. The view is so beautiful that it can hardly be captured with a photo. Arrival and check-in are ensured by the local tourism staff. This worked out great, everything was explained to us, shown and called a contact person. The cabin has received a new coat of paint inside and partly new furniture, so that it is now much more modern and cozy compared to the photos. This surprised us very positively. Everything was very clean. There are two bedrooms, the upper one can only be reached by a very steep staircase. Not suitable for smaller children. In the master bedroom, there is also the possibility to convert a couch to a bed. The bathroom and the kitchen are functional and sufficient. The area is just wonderful, a lot to see, a very good starting point for hikes. We felt very comfortable and like to come back.

We were extremely happy with the place. Although something outdated, it has a cozy charm. It takes some getting used to the night storage stoves, yet all rooms were always warm. The only drawback was cheese slices in a closet on the top floor. Whoever is staying there. We would still recommend the place as the price-performance ratio was right, the area is excellent and we found accommodation with our dogs. The hostess Ms. Urban is very nice, polite and quick to reach by phone. We felt very comfortable.

This was the perfect venue for a visit with friends in Gehren. The home was cozy, comfortable and well-provisioned. It was a perfect home base for all of the walking we did while visiting. Highly recommend!

We booked the place for 3 nights after Easter. We wanted to do a few short hikes and the place was perfect for that. You can drive to Oberhof in just under 30 minutes. Hikes can also be started right from Langenthal. The place was very clean and cozy. We didn't miss anything for the 4 days. The balcony towards the sun is particularly beautiful. We'll be back. It was perfect.

I have to say that it was one of the best experiences we had in airbnb houses. The place has many advantages but I will try to tell couple of them: fully fenced huge yard, where you can just lie down and listen chirping, from top side the neighbor is just forest, other neighbors are not really seen from the main yard of the house, so you have the full privacy. Fenced yard was extremely comfortable also for our dog Charlie. House is equipped with everything you may need for your peaceful stay. There was even WIFI, which was not mentioned in the description originally, but we were nicely surprised. Check in was really easy and comfortable. The village has a huge EDEKA store, so you can get anything there. The trails are wonderful and easily walkable, one of the trail is actually starting right in the front of the house. in 2 minutes you are in the middle of the forest. I definitely recommend the house, it was worth of every penny. We are going to visit it again of course.
