The caravan was very clean and tidy, beautiful views and easily accessible. Communication with Johan was fantastic. There was a folder with plenty of maps and leaflets for things to do and the caravan was well heated throughout.

We had a great week at Oran na Cuthaig. The house is as described, spacious, very comfortable and with everything you might need. It provided an ideal base for our family (including dog) to explore Lewis & Harris. There are some nice walks from the house with gorgeous views (also from the house - the changing sky is mesmerising). The house is very central with most sights max 40 mins or so drive away. Favourites of ours were Bostadh, Uig and Mangarsta, Luskentyre, and Calanais. Stornoway is under 20 mins away (with fast EV chargers!). Another big hit was fantastic pizza from Crust only 10 mins away (perfect for swinging by on the way home from a day out but definitely worth advance ordering online if you can). Eleanor was a responsive and very helpful host. Thanks again for having us - we hope to be back!

The house is located in a really beautiful and peaceful area, with great access to both Lewis and Harris. The house is surrounded by fields (croft), to which you have access to walk and discover the surroundings and wildlife. I really enjoyed walking down to the loch side and along the water at low tide to spot the seals every afternoon. Cathie and Les are great hosts, I had some great conversation with Les about the history of the place, wildlife, and areas to visit. The house is spotless and the view from each window out to the surroundings is incredible . Les said, "this airBnb is to us more than just handing the keys", and I think this resume really well how they welcomed us. strongly recommend!

The cottage was absolutely perfect and made us wish we could have stayed longer. We were glad to find it was nice and warm after arriving on a drizzly evening. Everything was spotless and the decor is lovely. The house had everything we needed. It was a nice bonus to be able to relax in the evening and watch a movie on Now TV. We really enjoyed our stay here.

I was drawn to Onie's place because it looked cosy and homely in the photos. Well, we weren't disappointed. It was very comfy and we enjoyed the board games. Stunning views in both directions from the windows.

The house was as advertised, clean, comfortable and spacious. The host was friendly and responsive to our requests, we would definitely recommend the property.

Perfect apartment for husbands work trip. I was lucky to join him last time but sadly not on this occasion. Added gifts were a bonus!

Beautiful, quiet and serene location, spent hours watching wildlife in the loch from the hot tub and from the sofa. We saw an otter, a seal and a grey heron in the bay. A very helpful and thorough guide to the island and a nice map on the wall. Good location for visiting all corners of the island. House very clean and comfortable. Owner was kind and allowed us to borrow kayaks/paddleboards for the loch which was perfect. A good pair of binoculars to use in the apartment. Couldn’t ask for more! Moran taing.

We had a brilliant stay in Hebrides Cottage, owner Janice was excellent with her quick, helpful communication….we found everything we could possibly want or need was provided…..it was exceptionally clean. The cottage was in a fantastic peaceful location, the views from the bedrooms and kitchen were absolutely amazing. We visited local restaurants in Stornoway, and it was very easy to drive in to go to a variety of small shops and get supplies from the large Tesco and Co-op supermarkets. We visited many local sites, Callanish Stones, Dun Calloway - the best preserved Broch, Gearrannan Blackhorse, Butt of Lewis, Lews Castle and the very informative museum about Hebridean island life, we will definitely come back to stay again.
