A beautiful location and property in the hills of the Douro. the house and grounds are all kept in great condition. marina was really helpful with organizing food being delivered to the property and local transport as needed. I'd highly recommend visiting during the summer months to fully enjoy the pool and outdoor spaces.

really incredible place to stay in duoro valley. private serene location with an unbeatable view of the river below. great amenities like the pool and full kitchen, with staff who serves breakfast and honor system w drinks and wine for you to access during your stay we had fun in the city and other parts of Portugal, but this was truly unforgettable

We love our stay here. The hotel was beautiful, the scenery outside our room was spectacular. We had a beautiful view of Duoro valley and vineyard. The staff was really helpful and helped us arrange our transport so that we were able to stay here even we did not drive.

Marina est une hôte adorable et très réactive. La maison est magnifique, parfaitement fidèle aux photos. Un petit coin de paradis pour se ressourcer et visiter les villages environnants.

Tivemos uma excelente hospedagem no imóvel da Ana. Casa extremamente limpa e com tudo o que precisar. O jardim da casa é magnífico, muito bem cuidado e reservado. Perfeito para refeições como pequeno almoço. Com certeza voltaremos outras vezes.

Helga and Mario have a beautiful clean place with incredible views of the Douro River Valley. We had great instructions to get to the home and how to get in with a keyless code. It was raining and cold so we were soaked getting the gate open and getting suitcases inside. There’s a fireplace in the living area and I asked Helga if we could get firewood and within minutes someone arrived with wood and he even built us a fire. When I made my reservation, I mentioned that I needed a haircut/ pedicure and Helga made me an appointment with Sonia in the next village of Tabuaço for the day after we arrived, that was wonderful service and kind of her. I was very pleased. Helga gave very good information on things to do in the area and places to eat. The bed was one of the most comfortable we have had while traveling. Everything was clean and as stated in the listing. The bedroom and bathroom are upstairs if that is an issue but we were told this before we booked. Thanks for a lovely stay.

Fomos como nossos Pets e foi muito tranquilo. Encontramos lugar para comer nas proximidades e vagas para estacionar sempre por perto embora fosse vaga paga e tivemos que acordar cedo no dia seguinte para colocar novo bilhete de parking. As explicações dela são bem organizadas e não tivemos nenhum inconveniente ou intercorrências, realmente recomendo.

We were a group of 3. We travel a lot and we really appreciated all of the thoughtful touches at Ana's place! We drove from Porto and arrived early and Ana was very flexible about allowing us to leave our bags earlier than the check in time. Of the Airbnbs in Portugal, this was our favorite. Do not expect modern decorations but you can count on many comforts that other Airbnbs do not have. Not only is fresh bread delivered each morning but Ana also stocked her kitchen with fresh fruit, milk, juice, sugar, honey, jams, plenty of coffee pods, and she stocked the refrigerator with cheese, eggs, beer, a bottle of wine. The place is very spacious and could have comfortably accommodated more than 3 people. There are cosy bathrobes in the closets, an extra blanket, slippers and plenty of outlets in the bedroom. The bed was very comfortable and the balcony is so lovely and peaceful. If you come to Pinhao, I highly recommend Ana's place!

Great place for two couples with beautiful views and close to the train station. Quiet but markets and restaurants were still around. The terrace was an absolute highlight with amazing river views. Great check in and communication process would stay again.

We enjoyed the personalized attention and instructions at checkin. We also received marvelous dining recommendations at a Brazilian din er house a short walk from the apartment. We were very comfortable and highly recommend this location and apartment. Clean, quiet and secure apartment made us feel very welcome. Thank you

Excelente espaço para uma familia poder usufruir de um maravilhoso descanso. instruções claras na morada, fotos e amenities. Apesar de ter sido somente uma noite ainda foi possivel usufruir da maravilhosa piscina. Obrigado por nos ter recebido na esperança de regressarmos em breve e agora por mais tempo! Espaço acolhedor, limpo e bem localizado. A cozinha estava muito bem equipada. Foi uma estadia muito agradável.

The location is amazing, only a block from the train station and walking distance to several good restaurants and wineries. The host was very kind and responsive. However, there was a very strong smell of cat urine in the kitchen and back bathroom as well as a mold smell in the back bathroom. The living room and bedrooms were very clean and welcoming though.

Elisabete è stata davvero gentile, l’alloggio è molto carino, all’ultimo piano con un grande terrazzo da cui godersi le giornate di sole. Consigliatissimo a chi è di passaggio ad Amarante!
