We had an exceptional stay! The hosts are a rare kindness, very caring and attentive: we feel that they put all their heart into welcoming their guests. The amenities are simply amazing: swimming pool, jacuzzi, tennis court, weight room… everything is perfectly maintained and thought out for comfort. Cannot say enough about this place, its everything it says and lots more. The ladies that service the property along with preparing breakfasts were simply awesome. Aurora's chocolate cake was a hit, and we had it for dessert and breakfast! The location and views are postcard perfect and that comes with some nervous driving to get there, but once you know the quirks really not that bad, just be careful. Highly recommending this to friends that are planning a trip to this beautiful part of the world.

The hosts were amazing! they made sure we will feel at home from the first day. took care of any issue that came by. they brought us fresh bread every morning. the surrounding is really magical. the only thing that was a bit sucks was the washing machine and the dryer. it was in a different structure with 1 min walk and when the weather is raining its not that easy. other than that everything was fine!

When the wildfires created anxiety and uncertainty about our stay in Casa Rustica, Elisabete took care of everything; she provided a safe haven until there was no further risk in the Rossas area. Thank you so much, Elisabete, you did everything to reassure us and make us comfortable. As for Casa Rustica, it's absolutely wonderful - gorgeous pool, Jacuzzi, relaxing living spaces and a well-equipped kitchen; the garden is lush with fruit and there are beautiful views from the balconies. Thanks to Sandra, too, for a great show-around and providing on-the-spot help if needed. In a nutshell, all fab!

Beautiful spot with private pool and lots of space to enjoy the sunshine. Really peaceful location with amazing restaurant attached, which I recommend visiting. Isabel was hugely responsive and incredibly helpful throughout. Highly recommend a visit!

The site of Helena is fantastic, with an extraordinary garden and surrounded by beautiful landscapes and tranquility. Exactly as described, it was one of my best experiences on the platform. We had an excellent stay at Luis's and the hospitality was perfect, this place surrounded by nature is very peaceful and pleasant. The accommodation is beautiful and very well furnished, thanks for everything Luis.

We love the house, quiet and with all that's needed. We managed to warm up the house at night that gets a little cooler. The city has a little difficult access to get to by car but nothing that doesn't get over it. Perfect for a few days of rest.

It was good! We got barbecue. Dini gave us all necessary stuff for it Swimming pool was clean, but we didn’t use it Thank you!

There are few words to describe the peacefulness and tranquility of the Douro region in general. however, the time we spent in this lovely, comfortable, and welcoming home magnified our enjoyment of the area multiple times. Anabela was such a wonderful host, even providing us with a loaf of bread on the front porch from the local Baker the morning after we arrived. It was a wonderful home, it felt like we'd lived there our entire lives. I really wish I could say more, but I just can't find the words. To summarize, I would recommend this place to anybody, at any time, but I can't help wishing a little bit that my review wouldn't help attract more renters, because in my selfishness, I'd love for this place to always be available to me. 10 stars.

The stay was excellent: The house, the impeccable pool, the surroundings, the vineyards, and the kindness and excellence of the hosts. The vacation days we spent here were ideal. The best on the route. We were next to Amarante, which pleasantly surprised us, and other cities to visit, 1 hour drive away. Thanks Osvaldo and Magdalena and family for being such good hosts!

Manuel and Rosaria are lovely and very considerate people, who anticipate the possible needs of the tenants of the cottage. It was very easy for us to communicate with them despite the language barrier. When we arrived, we were able to taste Portuguese specialties. The cottage is very well-equipped, very clean and very conveniently located for visiting northern Portugal. The property is beautiful, with different spaces, garden, pool, vines and animals. I would highly recommend this rental. Thank you very much to Manuel and Rosaria for hosting us.

He was always attentive and available for whatever we needed, the house was very nice and cozy; the property was spectacular, a shame the rain prevented us from using the pool, with hosts like this it's a pleasure to travel, 100% recommended. The location is perfect, with places to shop and visit nearby, as well as a pharmacy. In addition to the fantastic service, they provided us with the phone number in case we needed anything and sent us links to places to see in the area. Everything was fantastic, we will definitely be back🥰

Had a great time in Marie’s place. She welcomed us really well sharing local places we could go to to shop or eat, and recommendation for Porto. Very easy to check in and flexible which was great. The house is very big with all amenities, and a very nice area by the swimming pool. Thanks again !

Everything was perfect even the small details. We felt like we were in a 5 star hotel. The inside and outside of the property were really well maintained and the swimming pool was an added bonus in a hot sun weather’sday! Such a relaxing and beautiful spot. We have a lovely slow day at the cabin, making the most of the food the trees and vines had to offer. Fabulous!

Our stay was absolutely amazing! Miguel was fantastic with communication from start to finish, always prompt and helpful with any questions we had. The accommodation itself was beyond our expectations – it truly felt like a home away from home, with everything we could possibly need. The amenities were perfect for a family getaway. Our children had endless fun with access to the spacious garden, beautiful pool, the serene lake, and even paddleboards – we couldn’t have asked for more to keep them entertained! The location was ideal as well. It’s tucked away in a peaceful, quiet area that made it easy to relax and unwind. We left feeling recharged and already dreaming of our next visit. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a perfect escape!
