Barn vacation rentals in Ariège

we spent a week with family in the cottage in December. The area is magnificent and many walks and activities are available nearby. The house is clean and quiet, the equipment is quite basic but the necessities are there.

We were hosted very well in this ideal setting to come and rest for a weekend! The cottage is secluded with a great view. Everything was impeccable when we arrived and we could easily gather to eat or play together around the tables. I will note, however, that the mops available are not very practical and also that I had not found the information that bath towels were not provided. Thanks a lot David for the stay!

Beautiful quiet cottage yet very well located to enjoy the Ariège. The renovation has been tastefully done and the cottage is well equipped enough to have a very pleasant stay. Ursula is a lovely, attentive, and responsive host. We'll be happy to go back!

If you find this place free book it. A haven in a great location. We had a lovely family holiday with grandparents and two small kids. Joep and Miranda are impeccable hosts and have created a beautiful house and grounds to stay in. Our 3 year old was in his element and the rest of family had a lovely relaxing time. The house is really spacious and well equipped. I think we would all have happily stayed on!

Very nice house for families or groups of friends and where everyone can have their own space! The terrace is lovely, as well as the sharing space. However, it is very hot in the rooms during the heat waves. A car is a must for activities.

Penny's house is very large. We went there in December which required adequate heating. Not having turned for some time, the boiler did not work properly in a first but Penny was very efficient when she was "stuck" in England by COVID. The house was then very pleasant, the existence of a separate toilet/bathroom allowing privacy in the collective. Exactly what we were hoping for. The house itself is very quiet, isolated while being about ten km from Limoux. Again, the compromise is ideal. Our stay was therefore very successful.

We had a great week. The cottage is exactly as the description indicates. We were hosted very well and advised. It's a wonderful area for hiking and relaxing.

La Grange du Cindé is a haven of peace in the Ariège Pyrenees. The house is spacious, welcoming, well equipped, with a beautiful fireplace, a large south facing terrace and superb views of the surrounding mountains. A beautiful base for exploring Haut-Couserans. Sylvie was there to welcome us and again to facilitate our departure. A great stay in every way.

We had a great week of Christmas with family and our dog at Gino and Hélène's. Everyone made the most of their stay: ideal location for skiers and hikers, comfortable and welcoming sheepfold for cocooning enthusiasts. The accommodation is well-equipped, the fireplace works wonders. We would love to come back to Merens-les-Vals!

We stayed for three nights, two families. From the very beginning, we felt at home. The apartment is spotless, very spacious, and beautiful—truly top quality. The decoration is spectacular, the kitchen has everything you need, and it is fully equipped. We will definitely come back. Highly recommended. For electric cars, there is a charger 6 km away.

Gite between rustic and modern in a just exceptional and tranquil setting with all the comforts! And a fabulous terrace with a crazy view! If there's just a note to make, it would be to be careful when you park downstairs if it's wet, it's hard to get back up... It's skating! Luckily the beekeeper is nice to haul us!!! 😁
