Being close to the nature, we kept it in sync with the surrounding ecosystem.It has Round Mud Bed with direct view of backwaters and space for four to sleep. Also has wooden bunk bed in other bedroom with attached washroom.Hall with a music system, Mud Sofas with beautiful artwork.Also, has a small tiny meditation cave with a bed to sleep for two. Truly a wonderful stay. The room was perfect, our host was so warm & welcoming, and the food was perfect. We stayed just one night but wished we’d booked 2 nights in the Al Burj (deluxe double room). Our host was great- we learned about him and his family, Omani culture, and we got a full tour of the village which was great. He was also quick to take photos and videos of us to make the trip as memorable as possible. Follow the driving directions VERY carefully (don’t get anxious like us and turn too early) - if you’re not going down (after the turn-off), you’re going the wrong way. Plan accordingly and get there early to take in all the views and get the most from your experience. It is a hike with steep rock “steps” (very manageable) so wear proper shoes. Our host met us at the car park and helped us navigate to the village. We were the only guests on the night we stayed, which was amazing as we had the whole village to ourselves. I’m sure being able to mingle with the other guests in the gathering area would be a pleasure as well.

I'm a solo traveler who loves spontaneous trips. I chose Purrom after spotting a beautiful Airbnb listing surrounded by nature—chirping birds, fresh air, and picturesque views reminiscent of a schoolbook painting. The sunrise behind the mountains and the moonlit evenings make it a serene and romantic spot. The place, 13 km from Kamshet near Govitri village, offers peaceful vibes but no nearby food shops. Thankfully, the host Sapna, and Ullas's family provide delicious meals, making the stay even better. Sapna is a warm and stylish host who made our experience delightful. If heading to Lonavala, locals or autos can help you reach Kamshet station, from where a cheap train ride takes you to your destination. Highly recommended for those seeking tranquility and charm!

An absolute gem . The property has had a major upgrade from information supplied on airbnb so was a very pleasant surprise. The hike to the guest house is short and easy and your luggage can be taken across in a zipline so no need for the small backpack. The food was plentiful and delicious. The rooms were immaculate, had all necessary amenities and the extra bedding was welcomed as it was rather a chilly night. Mahdi gave a talk on the history of the property which was very enlightening. A perfect spot for birdwatching. We went for a short walk, spectacular views and special birds seen. One night stop over is NOT enough. We hope to return in a different season to see the change in the mountains.
