If you're looking for seclusion and a peaceful setting, look no further!! This place was beautiful and we definitely enjoyed our down time. Excellent suggestions for restaurants, I would add the The Clover Wine Merchant down the road from Orleans. Easy access to 1-75. You wouldn't know you're that close to the expressway. Do yourself a favor and check it out.

A beautiful place to relax. If you love farms, you will truly love this peaceful gem. The apartment has been recently renovated from two apartments to one (an above unit and floor level unit) and would be a great fit for a larger family, friends who want their own space or even parents who want to give their kiddos their own pad while not being far from care. It was just me and my kiddo and we only used the lower portion of the apartment. The vibe is sundrenched and farmhouse with butcherblock counters and white cabinets. The real fun is outside. We were welcomed by their sweet longhorns and even a newborn calf They have friendly chickens, cats, dogs and if you like your distance, the host will do a great job keeping your stay to looking only for the animals. Its a lovely property with a lake and walkable private areas. Susan and Barry did a great job of being attentive while keeping their distance, so you have privacy. Note: Prepare for bugs! You are out in the sticks!

The Chicken Coop was perfect! Dana thought of everything when she designed, decorated, and stocked this peaceful coop. If you forgot to bring something, I bet it is in the house. She had water and snacks and even left snacks on the front porch for you to feed the goldfish in the little pond. The landscaping was beautiful and so peaceful! I highly recommend The Chicken Coop!
