Clean and spacious rooms with air condition. I can recommend the accomodation! The kids very much enjoyed the pool.

Staying at Castello Macchiaroli was truly one of the most unforgettable experiences of our entire trip to Italy. The castle itself is breathtaking—steeped in over a thousand years of history, yet so warm and welcoming that it instantly felt like home. Gisella was a wonderful host—so kind, thoughtful, and easy to communicate with. And Paola… what a gem! Her private tour through the castle was fascinating, personal, and full of charm. Exploring ancient tunnels and seeing the castle’s legacy was a once-in-a-lifetime experience. Relaxing by the fireplace, surrounded by history, was nothing short of magical. We left feeling like we’d stepped inside a fairytale. If you’re looking for something truly unique and soul-stirring, this is it. Very nice flat in a very special house - friendly and helpful landlords. Very clean and safe, wonderful view in a very beautiful region. Lots of nice restaurants, little villages, beaches around.. we highly recommend Alessandras flat.

We had a really good week in the chapel of the masseria. Really unique place! Cozy furnishings too. Very quiet and yet close to a shopping center. Private terrace on the east side (morning sun) and we could also sit in the shade in the communal garden. By the way, we had that to ourselves during the day. There was a cat and there were four super sweet kittens, turtles, dogs, chickens and roosters (and almost every morning fresh eggs!). We visited many places in the Salento. Everything is very easy to reach. Matilde was always ready for us if we had any questions. We enjoyed very much! Arriverdeci, ciao!

We fully agree with the previous positive references. Gianluca and Rita are extremely lovely hosts. The old dog lady Astrid also patiently took in our dog Yeshi. We enjoyed a fantastic panoramic view with sunrise and sunset from the well-kept apartment on the second floor. The villa itself is a charming, interesting building, reminiscent of a small castle. Great accommodation, Gianluca and Rita were the best hosts ever! We felt as if we were on holiday at an Italian grandma's house. We arrived without car and Gianluca offered a lift to Villa Alba or to Rodi (if you want to explore Gargano, do have a car!). Gianluca enabled us to check-in earlier and provided everything we needed. He even prepared dinner the first evening for all the guests! We had the Deluxe Apartment which was really spacious, 2 bedrooms, we especially loved the big terace - shaded from the sun with views into the gardens around with citrus and fruit trees, hills covered by forest and the sea. Villa Alba was a great place to observe wildlife, there was a lot of birds around (we have seen hoopoe and golden oriole from the terace!), butterflies, on our walks we have seen a lot of lizzards, gecos, rare insects and even a garden dormouse. Long sandy beach is only cca 300m downhill, with gradual entry into the sea. The price (early booking) was great. Highly recommended!

very, very good hospitality...very smiling and accommodating. nte...the building is superb and the accommodation in good general condition with a huge terrace with sea view is very nice ...an area for the barbecue is provided. Our host was very kind to us...the accommodation is very clean ...small downside the access not very convenient very good stay thank you to our hostess 😄
