Ravenala Residence

Hot water, Canal+, Wifi (a bit weak), pool, indoor and outdoor dining table, garage space, 3 bedrooms (4 beds, +extra beds if needed ), 1 full bathroom, 2 other shower rooms 🚿/ 🛁, and another toilet 🚽 room. The location is some 200m after the old DISCOMA of Ambohidratrimo, in the unpaved road. Car needed for easy mobility. It was a good stay overall. ✅ There is a blocks manufacturer in front, as mentioned before, but that didn't bother me.

An outdoor space is visible, featuring a small pool surrounded by lush greenery and garden paths. Stone stepping stones lead to the pool, while a lounge chair rests under a parasol, offering a serene spot for relaxation amidst the vibrant flora.

Modern house with pool

It was a pleasure to stay at Mirana's, the house matched the photos apart from the pool which was a little far for us to access regularly. The service was impeccable, always attentive and respectful, we really felt at home. I would really recommend it to those who want peace outside the tumultuous life of the city center.

Guest House ChezSoa Antananarivo Madagascar

Mme Faras home is a GEM! A rare find! A beatiful and well kept house, pool and garden. We loved it there! We stayed for four weeks with our two children (2and 6 yo) and happily ate the malagazy dinners Fara made every day. She's a great cook! Mme Fara also gave us very useful medical advice (she's a doctor). The pictures in the listing are accurate, the house is light and beatiful, and very well climatized. By Malagacy standards this must be an extremely high standard house, it almost felt like living in a house in the south of France. Few mosquitos and also the pool is lovely and clean. The only downside, I have to say, is that one can feel a bit isolated this far outside Antananarivo. It took us approximately two hours drive to the center of Tana in rush hour, and this was unpractical. (Remember never to trust google maps estimation of distanse and time in the malagacy rush hour traffic!) The driver available is super nice and drives very safe, but the car doesn't have seatbelts and is an old Toyota, so don't expect a fancy ride. So: If your plan is to mostly stay put in a lovely house with a great host, and not go driving into town very often, Mme Faras house is highly recommended!
A shared swimming pool is visible, featuring clear blue water bordered by a stone deck. Reclining chairs in light green are positioned nearby. Two houses are nestled in the background, showcasing different architectural styles and surrounded by lush greenery under a clear sky.

Soimanga Anjahana - F4 secure close to the center

Our stay was unfortunately shorter than planed, as our flight was delayed two days. So we only had one night at Tanias place. We loved the place and the people. Our kids got much needed rest after a few days of travel, and we had to struggle to get them out of bed in the morning.
The airy living space features high ceilings and large windows, allowing natural light to fill the area. A modern kitchen is visible, with wooden bar stools positioned around a dark countertop. Decorative pendant lights hang above, enhancing the open layout and inviting atmosphere.

Raffia Home Antananarivo

BethelRating, 5 stars1 month ago
A perfect stay - Highly recommend! I had an absolutely wonderful experience staying Raffia House! From the moment I arrived, I was blown away by how clean, big and beautifully decorated the home was. The photos didn’t do it justice - every room was even more charming and welcoming in person. The location was perfect for everything I wanted to do during our trip, with amazing restaurants, shops, and parks just a short walk away. I also really appreciated the access to transportation from the house and taxi access a block away from location. I really appreciated the cook, Zoe, who provided us with breakfast every morning of our stay and dinner when we landed. Jessica was an exceptional host. She communicated quickly and made sure we had everything we needed. It’s clear she genuinely cared about her guests comfort and experience. I felt so at home, and I can’t wait to return the next time I’m in town. If you’re looking for a relaxing getaway with amazing hospitality this is the place!
