We were absolutely charmed by this stunning house, surrounded by breathtaking nature and offering incredible views—especially over the lake. Every corner is filled with character and warmth, making it feel like a true hidden gem. A huge thank-you to our wonderful host Sandy, who was incredibly thoughtful and proactive throughout our stay. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience. We’ll be back without a doubt!

This is a lovely house very close to New Paltz. We had a nice long weekend with the kids and loved spending time in the pool. Susan was a great host. No complaints!

We truly enjoyed our stay at Wilderkill Barn. Maria Cristina and William were exceptional hosts—warm, attentive, and genuinely committed to making our visit special. They went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. The home was a haven, with a hot tub, sauna, pool, fire pit, pool table, and immersive sound and movie systems—all of which made our stay delightful despite the cold, dreary May weather. We can't thank them enough. ***That said, we feel it's necessary to address a serious issue with Airbnb itself that arose while booking this property, unrelated to the property itself. An unexpected tax was added after booking, and Airbnb has yet to provide a clear explanation. After years of loyalty, we were disappointed by their evasive and unhelpful customer support. This experience has made us reconsider using the platform in the future. We urge potential users to scrutinize all fees carefully and be aware that Airbnb’s support may be difficult to navigate if problems arise.***

I wanted a peaceful, relaxing trip with all my girlfriends and that’s exactly what we got!! The place was beautiful with amazing amenities and an even better view of the water. The pool was the perfect size for our group (9) and the jacuzzi was also great. The house and rooms were very spacious, and finally, the host Marisa was super responsive and helpful. Overall a very lovely experience, would definitely book again!

Arps place was Superb to say the least. Me and my family had a great time. The home is beautifully designed and decorated, very homey. All my friends are asking me to send them arps place they also want to experience what I had experienced.

We had a beautiful stay in Kerhonkson for a relaxing bachelorette weekend! Lillian’s place is absolutely beautiful and was so comfortable for my friends and I. Everything was as described, extremely clean, plenty of linens and had everything we needed in the kitchen to cook a few meals. We enjoyed sitting by the pool when it was sunny. Lillian was very communicative and flexible with check in time. Thank you!

Such a great spot. Perfect size for a couple. Everything is really nicely laid out and we were especially thankful for how well stocked the kitchen came. Really beautiful view out the huge front windows. Also, super comfortable bed :)

This was such a lovely country escape for us tired city kids. The pond was a beautiful backdrop for reading and drawing. We brought our binoculars and walked across to Dan B road, spotting gorgeous birds multiple times a day. Our host, Danielle, was extremely responsive and friendly. A fuse blew our second night there, and Danielle had an electrician out to fix it the next day so we could sleep with AC that night. One warning: if you're tall, there are some very low ceilings and doorways. My partner is 6'2 and hit his head repeatedly on the bathrooms' vaulted ceilings and the kitchen doorway. The house would be great for a big group, or a family with kids -- the playroom is delightful and the big, fun kitchen makes you want to fill with your friends and eat and talk for hours. We're very grateful for our quiet getaway there!

We had a lovely stay at Julia and Javi’s. Great place for 5 of us to sleep comfortably. Connected kitchen, dining and living rooms made for very communal feel which was great. Would stay again!

Stony Hill is beyond our expectations! What an absolutely beautiful home. So many great decorating choices and the kitchen is a baker’s dream. The bedrooms were very comfortable and the grounds are fun to explore with something new around every corner. We didn’t want to leave! Also the town of Pine Plains did not disappoint. Our family including my 80 yo parents, son/his wife & son all slept well there. If ever back in the area we would definitely rent again!

We've been traveling to the Hudson Valley area a few times a year and Katie's house is by far the best Airbnb we have stayed in! We had a bottle of wine waiting for us when we arrived just after 5pm - perfect for a little happy hour upon arrival! The house had everything we needed for our family of four, including some kids toys and books. My son loved all the cozy throw blankets on every sofa and we all loved the outdoor swings. The furniture was comfortable and the house was spacious. We loved looking out the windows to a mountain view. We plan to come back in the future. Thank you, Katie!

We enjoyed our stay at this house- it was spacious, well lit, and comfortable. The beds and pillows were so comfy. It was more than enough space for my partner and I, my 5 year old, my baby and my mother. The house was very clean. I enjoyed the two seltzers in the fridge, the tea, the K cup coffees, and the travel shampoos and soaps available to us. Cynthia was very responsive and helpful. The house is also central - 10 minutes away from Hillsdale and half an hour away from Great Barrington. I highly recommend!

Great stay at Siena’s place. Neat older home, that was clean, organized and had lots of charm! Big bedrooms, plenty of linens, full functional kitchen and great front porch & back deck combo. All of which are wonderful to appreciate the view and sound of the stream on the property. House could use one more A/C unit for the 3rd bedroom and we were traveling in a full pick-up truck with a bike trailer that was a little tough for driveway. I should’ve asked for pictures/info of driveway and better communicated with Siena on this subject. All worked out fine and very nice stay…and we loved all the artwork in the home. Thx you Siena.

We were so lucky to find this place for a long weekend in the area of Tivoli, Red Hook and Hudson...short drives to each town. In a cabin-like setting, we had everything we needed for an enjoyable and comfortable stay, including an equipped kitchen, small appliances, great selection of coffee & teas, plus nice touches such as candles and yoga mats. There is a nice deck and ample outdoor seating, although we had challenging weather and therefore mostly stayed indoors. Heads up that it's a very rural area with minimal street lighting, so arriving at night was challenging (we almost pulled into the wrong house), but nothing google maps couldn't solve. Wonderful place and I'd definitely stay again.

Still gleaming from an unforgettable stay at Willow Vale which is hands down a 5-star gem! The design of the house is one-of-kind where every detail piques curiosity and wonder. The library stole our hearts from the start, brimming with an extensive book collection and unique treasures. We sat by the fire here every night. The sunroom was the perfect daytime spot where we napped, worked, ate and played games. It’s impossible not to fall in love with the kitchen…we cooked almost every meal. Enjoying the hot tub under the stars was a highlight. We loved that there was a telescope and took advantage of it. The river was serene with a perfect swimming hole…and cold plunge! The house is secluded and there is so much to do nearby. It’s truly the land of hidden gems. Stissing House for dinner is a MUST. As their home might suggest, Matt and Whitney go above and beyond as hosts. They made this family vacation special for us in every possible way. We cannot wait to return!!!

The house was even more beautiful and quaint than the photos. The weather was a bit chilly and they made sure the heat was on prior to our arrival. Caring, responsive, and helpful hosts. Definitely recommend.
