Athens, NY Entire House - 1 bedroom Quiet Country setting Spring time is a great time to escape to upstate NY. Guests have called it "a very cozy cottage in the woods". It is set back off the road and a great place to get away and unwind. 10 minutes from Exit 21 on the NYS Thruway and is an easy drive to several towns on the Hudson River. They are known for their restaurants, local shops and quaint downtowns. Area features outdoor activities: hiking trails, skiing,snowboarding and kayaking.

This 2 bedroom 1 bathroom house is also close to hiking trails, waterfalls, apple picking, & a winery in the fall, and in winter, there’s skiing at Catamount (it’s just six miles away!) and a distillery nearby. A house for all seasons! Please note the house is 5 houses back and across a quiet road from the lake, and the dock is in the lake from the beginning of May to mid-September. But there is plenty to do up here during the rest of the year!

We are just a 10 minute drive from Hudson's bustling Warren Street in the historic hamlet of Claverack. We live on the property, but our guesthouse is separate and private. It's all surrounded by our 2 1/2 acre garden, which is our passion as well as our profession. We've recently adapted a 2 year old standard poodle named Nora. She is a very shy little girl, and will win your heart. We are sorry, but we do not accept pets or children under 12.
