Vacation rentals with a fire pit in Amsterdam-Zuidoost

This is our third time staying at Tine’s cottage over the past nearly ten years. It feels like a home away from home. We love Tine and she treats everyone like family. In case you don’t know already, this cottage sits on a quiet street, with its own private parking, entrance, and privacy. It is a very short walk into the backside of Zaanse Schans by the Windmills. You can borrow one of Tine’s many bicycles or simply walk the flat peaceful lanes into the open air park and experience clogs making, cheesemaking, stroopwafels, historic homes and neighborhoods well preserved, shops and gifts, a museum, and the most beautiful intact and functioning windmills you’ll find anywhere in the area - plus much more. It’s only 7-8 minutes to the Zaanse Schans train station and a straight shot in 15 minutes on the train to Centraal Station. Also very easy to get to Keukenhof via train, car, bus, etc. Grocery stores and restaurants close by. Our favorite spot out of all we’ve stayed at in Holland!

This is a beautiful house and it had everything we needed for a short stay. The house was so clean, and had a lovely garden area to relax in. The house is located in a great area, and there was transport close by which made it easy to get to. Johanna is a great host and was very responsive to messages. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely come here again! Thanks :)

We had the most wonderful stay in this charming cabin nestled on the property of a windmill in Alkmaar. From the moment we arrived, our hosts Kelly and Han made us feel completely at home. They went above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect—so kind, welcoming, and full of great local tips. The cabin itself is a dream—coziness taken to the next level. Every detail was thoughtfully put together, and it was the perfect place to unwind to relax. Waking up next to a windmill felt like something out of a fairytale. Alkmaar itself is a beautiful village full of history, with adorable shops and restaurants to explore. The charming canals add to the magical atmosphere, and it’s easy to hop on a train to Amsterdam for a day trip. We’re already dreaming of our return and feel so lucky to have made such lovely new friends in Kelly and Han. Highly recommend this magical spot to anyone visiting The Netherlands!

We had a lovely family vacation in Wyik aan Zee. Beautiful beach for walking. A trip to Haarlem and Amsterdam were also on the program. Highly recommended. All in all, we will be happy to come back.

We had the absolute best time staying at Nicolette’s beautiful home! She was so wonderful and made sure that we had everything we needed. The location is beautiful situated with the best river view and the town of Maarssen is just a few minutes down the road. We would highly recommend that anyone visiting this area should stay here! Nicolette is very kind and is a wonderful and attentive host!!!!

The place was quiet. The cottage was very clean and nicely furnished. So you felt right at home. Victor and his wife were very friendly and always responsive. The property can be fully recommended. There is a lot of beautiful things to explore nearby, such as the center of Edam or the promenade of Volendam. Be sure to travel by bus to Amsterdam. Super easy and you're in the city center very quickly.

Hello, Really enjoyed staying in this beautiful apartment with amazing view!! The hosts were super friendly and gave us several tips regarding parking and restaurants around the area which was very helpful !! We enjoyed the stay 100%! Serge is the perfect host, accommodating, but always reserved, polite, friendly, helpful - we were just fulfilled every wish and nothing was missing in this luxurious, absolutely thoughtful place. High-quality appliances in the top equipped kitchen (salt, pepper, oil, vinegar, baking paper, aluminum& plastic wrap, etc.), cozy sofa & toilet, nice bathroom, it was nice and warm (in cool April). We were able to wash our laundry and also let it dry in the dryer. In front of the windows were screens, good blackout curtains in the bedroom and nice screen during the day. You can park right in front of the property in a large parking lot, the car is always in view from the living room & kitchen. We will be back! Very nice 4 days stay. The apartment is close to the cities of Delft,Rotterdam,Gouda and The Hague. Everything can be visited by public transport. The grocery store is steps away. We were able to take advantage of the outdoor spaces to rest, read and eat. Sylvia is a welcoming and available host.

Delighted to stay at Yasmine's place. Although short and eventful. They were able to make it sweet with Sabah. We were very touched by all their care and kindness to our children and ourselves. The accommodation is great and is conducive to relaxation. Close to very beautiful sites, easy to access. Yasmine was very good advice in the process of this one. I recommend this host 10000%. We'll be back in other circumstances.

Gorgeous! To see out the window stretching green, domestic and wild animals, from a welcoming house...it's incredible. Everything close to what matters, Amsterdam, The Hague, tulip fields, Keukenhof. Thank you!

Lovely clean, comfortable, spacious accommodation within easy reach of bus stop and supermarket and cash machine (15 min). Mark responded very quickly and in a friendly manner to any queries.

I was there with my partner for an extended weekend and we enjoyed it very much. Jet is super sweet and greeted us kindly every evening when we came back. Amsterdam is about 40 minutes away by public transport. You can also get to the beach very quickly by car. I can imagine myself coming back.

Great place, very close to the city, museums etc yet very private and in deep nature . We really enjoyed our time and would recommend the place for everyone seeking privacy, calmness, nature and a bit of adventure.

Great place to unplug. Not far from Amsterdam, kitchen yard, beach. The host is very nice. You feel comfortable there.

We had a lovely stay at Marjolein and Anton's. The accommodation is very cute and well equipped. We enjoyed the beautiful private terrace (shaded by a large wisteria). The hosts are very nice and welcoming! The pretty village of Warmond is close to tulip fields and cities such as Amsterdam and The Hague. We recommend it!:)

We were in Rose's amazing cottage for our first wedding anniversary for a few days. Rose had made a rose and a card very thoughtful for us, which immediately made for a nice welcome! We had wonderful days by the fireplace, enjoyed the area with our dogs and the sunrise from the dike is fantastic!

We had a great stay with Nico and Danielle. They are very nice hosts who are quick to respond to any queries. Even a smart TV was arranged at our request. The cottage has all the comforts and is very tastefully decorated. Great bathroom and bed. The cottage is in their backyard, but you hardly notice that because it is completely enclosed from the main house. The area is worthwhile with Hoorn and Enkhuizen. In short: had a great week!

For nature lovers, the house is ideally located in the middle of the canals. Everything is beautiful and peaceful. Lovely house, clean and well equipped. An address to remember and advise.

We had a great time at Lita's. The place is well decorated and warm. Everything was clean. The hammock and ping pong table are an undeniable asset for children and parents. The accommodation is located close to the tulip fields and half an hour from Amsterdam. In addition, Lita was very responsive throughout the stay. Thanks again Lita!
