Please join me in sharing my 1st canal boat experience, moved in Aug 2022. I'd like to share the experience, typically while traveling. Listing covers future investments into the boat's maintenance. NOTE: This is boat is owned by me and primary residence, available when traveling for work or personal reasons. Effectively this means; you will notice used personal stuff as-is. Great for travellers that like a Local Experience near the waterfront, this is NOT a hotel for Business Travellers.

Located in heart of the city-centre. Restaurants, bars, historical sight seeings , museums, shopping area, central station, tour-boat harbor, its all at walking distance. Complete house for yourself, with private entrance. Many unusual things, like a popcorn machine, open-fire-place in your bedroom, an indoor terrace, etc. Some pictures may give the impression as if they are taken outside the house in a cozy street, or in the garden, but that's really just the decoration of the living room.

Cosy and quiet 3 story-house in the heart of the beautiful and historical centrum of Hoorn. Walking distance to musea, restaurants and shopping streets. Very complete, including 2 complimentary bicycles and a Chromecast for rainy days. The house has 3 floors, whereby WC is on the ground floor, the kitchen/living room/douche are on the first floor and the bedrooms are on the second. Interesting for you to know is that we blok 2-3 weeks every year in order to do maintenance on the house.

Welcome to the holiday apartment top two floors of the house. Own entrance from side of the house. There is a ground floor apartment (mine) and a two floor apartment above (for rent). House is on the water, with many trees, and windows. Big kitchen. Not good if you do not like stairs. The main bedroom has an attic with extra bed . Close to a supermarket, and the bus to Schiphol (Amsterdam). You may see our dogs outside, and sometimes hear them, when they talk to eachtother.

de Blockhut Lisse

The Blockhut is located in the center of Lisse with its own terrace and parking space. De Blockhut is a base to Amsterdam (25 km), Leiden (12 km), Noordwijk aan Zee (13 km), Zandvoort (13 km) and Haarlem (14 km) Shops, restaurants and supermarkets are around the corner. Langevelderslag beach is 10 km by bike about 40 minutes. Lisse has a nice center with many terraces. Breakfast is included at the Blockhut. There are two bicycles for rent at the Blockhut.

This beautiful 14th century wharf cellar (110 m2) is located on the Oudegracht, in the heart of Utrecht. Although the location is underground, this quiet basement has plenty of daylight. You have 2 bedrooms and sleeping accommodation for 4 people. Out of the the front room (4.20 x 6.40 m) you have a view over the Oudegracht. This space is very suitable for quiet work. Wifi available. This B&B, renovated in 2021, is located 300 m from the beach and 50 m from the shopping street. The compact studio is fully equipped. A bedroom with a lovely double bed. A nice bathroom with toiletries and hair dryer. The fully equipped kitchen includes a dishwasher, washer-dryer combination.
