Loft vacation rentals in Amsterdam-West

Beautiful, artistic, serene loft apartment. Looks exactly like photos- lovely decor and art, big open windows, gorgeous kitchen and furniture, immaturely clean. We especially loved the small patio overlooking the canal- so peaceful for breakfast or a glass of wine, we watched local kids and families swim and boat late into the summer evenings. Chantal was very responsive and helpful. I lost my passport, and she and her friend went above and beyond to help me find it. The neighborhood is very cool- feels more local than touristy- and a beautiful place to explore with some adorable small restaurants. It’s only a 5 minute walk to a grocery store and a great shopping area, and a 25-min walk to Anne Frank House and lots of other popular places. Also easy to catch buses/trams. The only difficult thing was that we had to share one key, which got a little tricky when we wanted to go different directions. But otherwise, I LOVED this place and would highly recommend it!

We had a lovely time in Amsterdam of which the accommodation played a big hand in the overall experience as it was exactly what we were looking for in a place to stay. Marie-Sophie took the time to check us in personally and let us know all the essential details regarding the apartment and the surrounding area. All in all, we would definitely recommend this apartment for anyone wanting to stay in Amsterdam and to not be too central to the city centre. We would stay here again without a doubt.

It was a great place to stay, the Airbnb was very private, clean, quiet and spacious - it provided everything we could need for our trip. Karin was very helpful and responsive, we were able check in early and check out late as there was no one else staying, which was really helpful. The bikes were a great addition too and we were really pleased to have them.

Christine’s place was a wonderful space to land after long days exploring the area. The kitchen had basic necessities (coffee machine, microwave, small fridge, and stovetop) and it was nice to prepare meals. The living space was bright, clean, quiet, comfortable and decorated so cute! The bedroom had a comfortable bed, plenty of storage for clothing and access to a wonderful deck where we enjoyed coffee in the morning and a glass of wine in the evening. The home is close to grocery markets, local restaurants and the train station. Overall, we had a lovely stay and appreciated quick responses from Christine! Can’t say enough good things and would definitely recommend and stay at Christine’s again!

we were greeted by Penny who provided us with clear directions and was always available. The accommodation is in a great location, a quiet area very easy to reach by tram or bus from the city center. We felt right at home. Definitely re-evaluate it for a possible return to Amsterdam.

Excellent stay in Breukelen in a quality, natural and peaceful environment. The proximity to the train station, easy to reach on foot, is a real plus to visit Amsterdam, Utrecht and the well-connected Dutch cities from Breukelen. You will be very well hosted by Toby and Adrian. Recommended!

We loved our stay at Vanessa’s stylish and very comfortable apartment. We were a family of 4, travelling with 2 teenage sons, and the apartment really exceeded our expectations. Really well kitted out with many thoughtful touches. Our boys loved the punching bag (they both agree this is the best AirBnb we’ve ever stayed at!). It was nice to be able to cook a meal in the really well appointed kitchen. It felt like a very residential/local part of Amsterdam but was very close to the centre of the city. Easy to walk in but plenty of public transport options too. Vanessa couldn’t have been more helpful - proactively reaching out before we arrived and was there to greet us and show us around. Lots of great local tips too. Highly recommend as a comfortable and unique place to stay.

The Place was absolutely lovely and communication with Mattijs was great aswell. Loved our stay!

We arrived late at night, which was no problem. The entrance was separate and we also had our own parking space in front of the door. When we sat outside, we had our own quiet corner overlooking the countryside. The apartment is small, but you have everything you need. The kitchen and bathroom are very modern and otherwise you have the feeling of being at home. Really very cozy. Saskia was always available for questions about excursions also for general questions. We quietly recommend the place.

Everything was great: location , apartment, clean and quiet. Martin was very responsive, called him late evening about heating , he answered and explained , great! I just wished i did not have to deal with the lockers on each door! Very hard to open, broke a few nails ..

Margje was very friendly and uncomplicated, the check-in went via a key box and you found everything right away. It was a cute little apartment, nicely furnished with nice details that make it cozy. Within walking distance you can reach a shopping street in 20 minutes, the park and cafes are also easily accessible. Everything wonderful!

After a very warm welcome from Judith, we were allowed to admire the apartment after climbing the 3 flights of stairs. Extremely cozy, cozy and very complete! Both the kitchen and the rest of the apartment had all the comforts. A very nice bed with the same duvet. After eating a nice breakfast, we explored the city center (1 state away) of Alkmaar. Very nice that we were allowed to leave our luggage to pick up after shopping. Judith's apartment is absolutely recommended!!

The House with the Curl was easy to find. It’s a peaceful and safe neighborhood to walk in especially since we did a lot of walking to and from the tram. It matched the pictures and description. It was a great place for us and allowed us to cook our breakfast. (A couple of markets in the neighborhood) as well as some great little places to pick up doners!! Tram 26 made the area assessable as well as provided a neat experience. Would stay again if ever in Amsterdam.
