Vacation rentals with a kayak in Amsterdam-Oost

A very nice house, clean and modern, located in a charming area just 30 minutes' drive from Amsterdam, with shops nearby. Everything was absolutely beautiful. Thank you so much!

Willem welcomed us very warmly, showed us everything in the accommodation exactly and then gave us tips for things to do and shopping. The location is great. Nice and quiet and lots of green. The train station is quickly accessible, and Amsterdam is only 20 minutes away. You can also get to the sea super quickly. The place could have been a little bit cleaner. But it wasn't a bad thing and didn't bother you much. Would come back right away.

We were able to spend wonderful quiet days. The instructions worked out great for the "ferry" to get to the house. The contact was always quick and informative, we felt well taken care of.

We had a wonderful break from everyday life in Rogier's cottage! Rogier welcomed us in a very friendly way at the jetty and patiently explained to us “landlubbers” the handling of the boat and a few special features in the house. We found everything very clean and tidy and felt super comfortable right away. The vacation home is really special! Rogier built it himself and you can tell how much love and passion he put into this project. I can only recommend a stay there, especially for families with older children: sunbathing in the garden and on the terrace, swimming in the lake, arriving by boat or canoeing gave us a lot of pleasure! Attractive bike paths lead to the center of Utrecht and we also made nice tours in the surrounding area. The only small criticism: the road is closer to the house than expected and sometimes traffic noise clouds the idyll in nature a little. We are still thrilled!

Very pleasant and cozy cottage in a super location. Nature, cool cities and the beach are very easily accessible by public transportation and/ or bike. Super accessible host who communicates very smoothly.

The cottage in Warmond is ideally located in a community surrounded by beautiful fields, walking and biking trails, and a train station. Petra kindly welcomed us and helped us with local information.

The place was quiet. The cottage was very clean and nicely furnished. So you felt right at home. Victor and his wife were very friendly and always responsive. The property can be fully recommended. There is a lot of beautiful things to explore nearby, such as the center of Edam or the promenade of Volendam. Be sure to travel by bus to Amsterdam. Super easy and you're in the city center very quickly.

We spontaneously booked the accommodation for four nights as a family with two children (14 and 16 years) and immediately had a very nice contact with the hosts. The cottage is accessible by a boat, with which we made great excursions in beautiful nature to the lake. It was a wonderful living close to nature with great relaxation and lots of fun also for the kids. Highly recommend!

What an amazing place to stay it with kids, there was so much space around the lodge which all felt really safe to let them explore different activities. There was a quite a few groups there but it was never noisy or overcrowded. The lodges were really cool and different to what we stayed in previously, it did go a little cold one of the nights we were there but they were still comfortable and nice (you can rent heaters if needed). We would 100% come back in the future if we travel that way again. We went for a trip to Amsterdam which was easy to get to and Sprookjeswonderland which I would recommend too with children under 6/7

We had a great stay in Esther and Marc's cottage. Beautifully furnished with such attention to detail. It had everything you needed for a short break. The view over the water in the sunshine and the sunsets were lovely. Friendly restaurant with good food just at the end of the road. Beach, villages and towns within easy reach. Hot tub in the garden and a canoe and bikes at your disposal and a delicious breakfast brought to your door. Highly recommended 👌

We had a very nice time. The house is great, you have everything you need and it was all very clean. The location is fantastic. You have a large private garden and a private jetty. Haarlem is accessible by bike and extremely beautiful. Also a very good supermarket and a nice restaurant are only 1 km away. Amsterdam and the beach can be reached by car within 20 minutes. So you can do a lot and are still very much on your own and in nature.

This is a special, small place, an old older house direct at the water. Our neighbours were sheep (disinterested), geese, ducks, a few magpies and seagulls. You reach the cottage through a beautiful garden footpath, and look out on a wide landscape, peaceful, quiet, separate. The cottage itself is cosy, with loving touches and original wood, pillars and beams. We were there as two people, searching quiet warmth, time to talk and listen. We fell in love with this place. Small, but not too small, the view on the landscape, the stepping outside and thinking of Mary Oliver. In the middle of the tiny town and totally quiet. We did not use the TV or the wifi. Can't comment on that. The shower is spacy and warm. The kitchen allowed us to cook proper meals and all amenities (and more) are there. Beautiful.

We felt very comfortable with Lonneke! Everything was as described in the photos. I also loved that she always responded quickly to my messages and questions. The place was clean and well furnished so that nothing was missing. The location is very great and very easily accessible by bus from Amsterdam and you are in the center in a good 15 minutes! If you want to have peace and quiet after the hustle and bustle of the city, I highly recommend this place! Simply super nice location and super hosts! Thank you for the great time and for your hospitality! I'd love to come back when I'm in Amsterdam again. Everything was great!

We loved out visit. It was too cold to swim (April visit) but our kids still jumped in the water. We took the paddle board and kayak around for a half a day, soaked up the sun, walked all over the local area, and easily commuted into Amsterdam (car to park and ride) exactly as host described... We hope to visit again some day... Thank you for your home on this special trip!

Fantastic place, comfortable and well equipped cottage, even more beautiful than in the photos. Nice village with nice walks in the area and centrally located to visit Utrecht and Hilversum.

Convenient accommodation if you're interested in visiting Amsterdam (15 minutes by bus). The place is very peaceful, we didn't have time to walk around but with more time, I think it would be worth taking a boat ride!

Great place to unplug. Not far from Amsterdam, kitchen yard, beach. The host is very nice. You feel comfortable there.

Overall, our stay was very positive. We even saved this house as a place we'd love to visit again, especially in summer. If I had to mention a downside, it would be the lack of essentials like shampoo, sufficient soap, toilet paper, and only a small amount of paper towels. Additionally, the heating system was quite loud. There was also no firewood available, but when I asked, Orlondo quickly brought some—perhaps he would have provided the other missing items if I had requested them as well. That said, the view and the cozy atmosphere of the house were truly wonderful.

We really loved this cozy cabin. It was very cute and magical. It has a mini kitchen with fridge, hob, kettle, oven, utensils, dishes etc, good and clean bathroom with shower, comfy bed and access to a private garden. Complimentary eggs if you dare facing chickens. There’s also a booklet with all the information you need. The place is in a small village in Watergang 15-20 mins away from city centre by bus, with the bus stop right outside. The village itself is small but quiet and lovely. You can go for a walk around, spend time in the park or simply enjoy nature. Everyone was very friendly and welcoming. The hosts were very helpful, polite, friendly and responsive. They provided clear instructions, answered any questions we had and were flexible with check in/out time. We didn’t meet them in person so the whole stay was very private. Would definitely recommend this place and the hosts. Thank you so much for your hospitality.

The place is so nice and large with a huge living area. You are in the countryside with farm animals and a colorful peacock. The hosts are lovely and friendly people always ready to satisfy the guest: on Sundays they prepare a great buffet for brunch and serve it in the garden. We loved the peace and calm of this place.

We had a lovely stay at Conny's. The accommodation is clean, pleasant, quiet and the natural environment is very quiet. The place is really perfect. Conny is attentive to her guests. We will return and recommend the address to our entourage.

We stayed with our 5 month old for a week. Charming place, extensively equipped kitchen, wonderful living room and terrace to enjoy a good time. And Janneke was always super helpful, forthcoming and made us feel welcome!
