One of the coolest homes we’ve stayed in. Immaculate. Fully restored to its 1905 glory. Clean, well kept, fully stocked with all the essentials. All lights and drawers/cabinets are labeled. Cool bathroom fixtures with a historic claw-foot tub.

Farmhouse Haven

MaryRating, 5 stars2 months ago
I'm not sure words can do justice to the gracious welcome and generous hospitality we found at Twin Hills! Laura and Dan have so beautifully restored and adapted for today the great 1880s farmhouse ... they were so thoughtful in anticipating what our group of generations might enjoy ... responsive to any questions that arose ... and, through our time, the most delightful hosts! Truly, it WAS like coming home ... to a home away from home, whose architectural details from years past are preserved under a coat of fresh paint. Immaculately clean, homey, with attention to detail in its decor and appointments, the house is situated on a hilltop that affords incredible views and breezes and sunrises and sunsets. A fire in the fire pit at dusk ... cattle in the pastures below ... a starry sky by night ... a sense of being truly welcomed by this farm's kind owners. Thank you, Laura and Dan!

Piney Creek Cabin

We had an amazing time at this beautiful home my family and I enjoyed being on the lake more than anything, our children’s faces just lit up at the sight of the minnows and fish. It was absolutely beautiful, the patio was amazing we sat under the awning with the fans, painting rocks and just completely enjoying ourselves. This is the perfect destination to unplug and connect with family and with so much space to spread out or enjoy things together. We can’t wait to come back!

The Hobbit's Nest

AnnRating, 5 stars1 week ago
The Hobbit’s Nest was exactly what I needed and was looking for. This was my first Air BnB experience and it was easy & hassle free. The price paid was very reasonable. EXQUISITE details. My dog loved the ramp up! The host had everything we needed! The AC worked great!! There’s a small fridge. Grill was used for every meal and all utensils and plates were available. Propane was full. I could not find the fire starter but there was dry wood. We ended up not being able to do s’mores because of the rain. Beware: we got in after a heavy rain and it rained again the second night. Because of this, the rain water was dripping down the walls of the treehouse and through the ceiling. Limited space after setting up the two cots for my sons and was difficult to find a spot that water wasn’t dripping down on them while they slept. Had to use towels and buckets. Grass was really high so couldn’t see trail well. Oh- smell of sewage was strong while grilling so was a bit unappealing but we made due.
