There you will find a bakery and during the summer a café and bistro, art exhibitions and a building maintenance shop. Swimming area is a 20-minute walk (1 km).

A smaller marina is available with a launching ramp for guests with their own boat. Bed linens and towels are not included, but they are available to rent. The apartment is located in Lorensberg, a calm and friendly neighbourhood with walking distance to both the city centre and campus, and is perfect for the busy tourist as well as a new student at the booming Karlstad University. The house used to be home to multiple families, and so the apartment comes fully equiped with a kitchen as well as a private bathroom and is closed off from the rest of the house with it’s own entrance. No smoking.

The apartment is located like an angle in our house. Private entrance to the apartment. WiFi is available. The Pilgrim's Path to Spiken/Läckö goes right outside our house. The veranda at the entrance to the apartment is for the guests. Distance to Spiken's fishing area is about 3 km and about 4 km to Läckö Castle. The house has a scenic location.
