Cozy cottage in a great location! Normally equipped kitchen, a little small fridge, but an extra one in the annex. Plenty of space for four adults (and 2 dogs).

Great stay in the cabin! The cabin was very cozy and well equipped. The location was perfect for exploring the nature around. Everything was clean and tidy and the hosts were helpful and accommodating. We really appreciated the fireplace, which created a nice atmosphere in the evenings. Highly recommended and we'd love to come back!

A fantastic place where you have the nature close by! The house has its own style, and there is plenty of space with all the equipment you need. Here you can really relax. We have had a great time and would love to come back! Lillian was a very nice and helpful host - highly recommended.

Very good place for weekend relaxation

This was a positive surprise. Just wanted a place to stay, but came to an experience of good old fashioned cabin life. The cabin appears to be relatively newly built, but inside it has the charm of a beloved old cabin with a lot of history. This is a good place to just exist in comfort. Would love to stay here again.

It was truly a lovely cabin! Many thanks! We were there in winter, with four adults, two children (ages 5 and 7), and a dog. The cabin isn't really that big, but is very thoughtful. Therefore, you can be quite a lot of people, without feeling cramped. Toll road: Unfortunately, you have to pay 80,- every time you drive up to the cabin. Ski: Trails are nearby. To the alpine slope we had to take a car. Deck: Beautiful views, fire pit, … Kitchen: Equipped with all the "usual". Coffee maker for filter coffee, dishwasher etc etc. Missing microwave, and it can get a little cramped in the cabinets, fridge, and freezer as there are some cases from there before. But it will be solved. Living room: Hangs along with the kitchen. Large sofa, TV, fire place. Very cozy. 3 bedrooms downstairs: 1 with bunk bed, 1 with single bed, 1 with double bed. The double bed has one large mattress of 160 cm, so you should bring a large sheet. Loft: Large loft with 2 beds and 1 sofa that you reach with the help of a good ladder.

What a great experience it was to spend a few winter days in this cozy hytte! Pink-coloured sky in the morning, skiing in fresh snow as well as on freshly prepared tracks, breathtaking views of the Rondane mountains, lazy evenings with warm food and books and even such rarities as the northern lights and nacreous clouds were the highlights of our stay. The hosts were very friendly, responsive and helpful.

We had a peaceful 4-night stay, just what my husband and I looked for. The cottage fits the environment yet it has all needed comforts from a well-equipped kitchen to a quick-drying modern bathroom. The small outdoor hot water pool with views, heated with wood, is super cozy! Our recommendations for visiting nearby places: - Jutulhogget: a nice hike and amazing canyon views (!) + Nekfallet waterfall, impressive in April after snow has melted. - Røros UNESCO world heritage mining village, a great deal of local history and traditions, its about 2.5h away by car but it’s worth it. We had 4 great days at the cabin "laughter". Large, great cabin in a fantastic location. Short distance to Savalen. Good beds, good with basic items and fantastic that you do not have to bring your own bed linen/towels. Large and great porch where you can enjoy nice evenings at sunset. Great with movies, and games for the kids. We would love to come again :)

This is our third time at the cabin in this beautiful cross country ski area. We love the place and the amazing view. The cabin is really good and spacious for the four of us. Easy to get in and free firewood in the basement. Hope to come back.

Vidar's house welcomes everyone. It's wonderful to be there for a week. We lacked nothing. The trails were so well tracked from the house and also the driveway to the house was freely milled after two days of snowfall. What a service!
