Villa vacation rentals in Altura

We had an amazing 10 nights in the villa. The outside area was great for dining, sunbathing or just relaxing reading a book. Then the shaded area was great if you needed to get out of the sun. The swimming pool was really clean and well maintained throughout the holiday. As it was August it was lovely and warm. All bedrooms were a great size and it was lovely that each room had it's own bathroom. The kitchen was well equipped with everything you need and with Lidl only a 10 min walk away it was great for food shopping. Tirimisu Bar was great for food and drink and very reasonable. We also ate at a lovely Italian restaurant at the golf village which was only a few minutes drive away. Ubers were very easy to get. We had a late flight back so thankfully we were able to leave our cases in the villa until it was time to great. Overall a fantastic holiday in a great villa.

We four friends had a very nice time in this fantastic house and found exactly what we were looking for: sunrise, sunset, a view of the vastness of the mountains, absolute peace... The pool was my joy despite my injured leg! The house is furnished with great attention to detail, which also contributed to our relaxation! Thank you also for the friendly and helpful contact! After our vacation in Madeira was canceled due to a forest fire, we never thought we would find such beautiful accommodation at the last minute. We would love to come back!

Absolutely a beautiful villa in a peaceful setting. There is a large supermarket nearby and the old town Albuferia and beaches are only a 8 to10 minute drive away. The villa has all the amenities you need and is well maintained. The grounds and pool area are large with plenty of places to sit in the sun or shade. Large patio table and chairs. Large brick charcoal bbq setup. Nice loungers and umbrellas for shade at the pool which was great and came in very handy. Very spacious bedrooms with massive wardrobes each with their own large en-suite bathrooms. Kitchen was extremely well equipped with a great supply of everything we needed. The laundry room has a washing machine, and each bedroom has air conditioning. We felt very safe at the property as there were locks and shutters for the doors and a locked gate to exit and enter. Perfect place to stay. Plenty of room, the outside space was fantastic, the pool was wonderful. The place was nice and clean. Communication was great. Staff from PortugalGo were really excellent and friendly. The area was nice and quiet but plenty of shops and restaurants nearby. Fantastic beach walking distance. Would highly recommend! What a villa!! We stayed here the week build up to our wedding and it was just perfect in every way. The location, the space, the villa itself was so modern and clean, the pool and outdoor area was amazing. It was even more gorgeous in person! Daniel the owner and the team couldn’t have done enough for us. I couldn’t recommend it anymore! Thank you for making our stay extra special. We will be back xx

My husband and I with our two dogs stayed for a month. The house was spacious with a fully equipped kitchen that had everything we needed for a long stay. The location was ideal, everything was within a 5-10minute drive including the beach. The house is lovely and private with a huge garden that our dogs absolutely loved! The wardrobes and mattresses in the main bedrooms could do with updating which I think is fair to say. The annex is very modern with new furniture and a kitchenette which is a nice addition. Again, the location is just superb thank you.

We loved Casa Cortiça! Karine was an amazing host. This is such a perfect place for a family vacation. The kids loved the pool. We love to cook and I was pleasantly surprised by how well the kitchen was stocked with cookware. The space is sunny and open with lots of little nooks for private time. I loved doing a little workout in the sun on the patio outside our room in the afternoons. The beds are very comfortable with plenty of pillows. I do wish there had been a couple of fuzzy throws here and there to curl up with at night, but we were there during the cooler nights of April so that might not be an issue for others. It was really private and quiet. We wish we could have stayed another week. Would definitely visit again!

The stay at this rental was absolutely amazing. Jacky was a gracious host and was there for any need and informed us of the villa very well . As of the villa , the place was pristine and full of the amenities listed . Would love to come back here.

The villa was fantastic, in a great location and the host was extremely friendly. They gave us some great local recommendations and tips which made the holiday. Five stars is not enough, I would give them ten if I could and would thoroughly recommend staying here. We will absolutely be back next year.

José and Catiá were very welcoming and available for our stay at 12 in their house, especially to quickly remedy small problems (a problem with opening the door for example). they were also accommodating on our arrival time and we thank them very much. Their accommodation is beautiful, very functional and very very well maintained, it is very pleasant to stay in. The only negative point that does not depend on our hosts is the many construction works in the neighborhood that cause some morning noise disturbances but otherwise everything was great! Thanks!

A really fantastic place to stay! We fully enjoyed the nice accommodation including a wonderful infinity pool. I would recommend this villa to everybody searching for a quiet place to enjoy your holidays !

The villa was incredibly well presented and had plenty of utensils for cooking if you wanted to! The pool table was a bit with our kids. Paulo was very responsive when I had any questions. Overall a wonderful stay and plenty of space for us all.

Very good house. Beautiful garden and good bedrooms. The only problem is the fact that the hot water only lasts for 3 persons… and the house fits for 9… it’s difficult for the showers.

My family and I had an amazing stay at this beautifully decorated and spacious villa! The decor was stunning, and the open layout made it feel like a luxurious retreat. With 16 of us staying here, the space was more than accommodating, and everyone had plenty of room to relax. The location was perfect as everything we needed was within walking distance (Spar and a beach), and the neighborhood was safe and quiet. Our host was absolutely wonderful - super nice, professional, and responsive to our needs. We'd highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a comfortable and convenient spot to stay.

A wonderful villa, located in a quiet and peaceful area. Fernando was helpful and responsive to all our needs. An ideal place to stay nearby to the marina in Vilamoura.

Just had a 3 night stay in this property. Close to the marina and all local bars / restaurant. Maria was very helpful and flexible with check in and check out. Responds to e mails etc very quickly. Quite a quiet street with no disturbances, there is a large garden and communal pool to use. Property itself is a little dated but had plenty of amenities and was clean on arrival.

Wonderful four days celebrating our 50th birthdays, as a group of 8. Gorgeous villa and everything we needed, peaceful yet close enough to restaurants and bars, and Liz was lovely to deal with. Thank you for a great stay!

We've just returned from a fantastic stay at Villa Verde. It had everything we needed and was much bigger than the photographs suggest. It worked perfectly for us to visit family up the road and the pool was an added bonus. The villa was spotless and Phil always got back to me within minutes if I needed any help. Thank you!

My husband and I really enjoyed our stay at Villa Concha; but it’s a house really in a quiet residential area. Very convenient for the Railway Station ( easy for Tavira and Faro) but a longer walk to the river front (15 mins) with plenty of lovely restaurants & cafes. The board walk is a pleasure and the boat trips over to the main beach across the river run all day at 1.5 euros. The pool was perfect & enjoyed our evenings outside with the BBQ. It was the outside space we liked best.The house was cool and dark but had all we needed. Traditional Portuguese. Fridge was good. Very modest inside but clean. We enjoyed bike hire & cycling to Tavira and down the cycle route along the coast. We used Pingo Supermarket. Fabulous choice of fish & meat. No car. Uber for 4 euros with our large shop. The weather was lovely and needed the pool! Our trip came together via Mark our host. His response to any query was quick. So helpful, reliable & obliging. Made our holiday. Thank you Mark.

We enjoyed a wonderful stay. The Villa was perfect, very spacious, especially the garden! The location is very private but you can walk 10/15 mins to the shop. We didn't have a car but used Uber which was so easy and reasonablly priced. Highly recommend Gale Beach it was beautiful. Nuno was a great host, very easy check in. I would highly recommend the Villa and will look forward to returning again.

Jonathan & Sandra were fantastic hosts. swift and responsive from first enquiry to check out. very considerate hosts, gave local recommendations and provided flexibility. . Everything we needed there, and assistance was available through Greet who met us on arrival and departure and kindly brought additional equipment (scales and large mixer) to us to bake cakes, even bringing extra games suitable for our disabled child. Discreet and also available for anything we needed. The villa was beautiful, the surroundings and grounds breathtaking. Shops a 5 minute drive and all we wanted to see was within 30 minutes, although mainly stayed in and soaked up the serene magic of this location. we didn't hire a car, we used Uber which was easy, reasonable and straightforward. 5 euros to the local supermarket, 15-20 euros to the mar shopping complex, 25 euros to Tavira. An incredible place, wonderful hosts and a firm favourite with our family. thank you so much for everything. ❤
