Lakes Studio is a sweet little space situated on the border of Newport and South Kingsville in inner West Melbourne. Newport is approx. 15 mins from the CBD via car or train. We are less than 5 mins walk from a couple of cafes, restaurants, a small grocer and laundromat and a short 5 min bus ride from a shopping centre for anything larger you may need. On the doorstep is Newport Lakes precinct, comprising of self guided walks, birdlife, dog walking and great picnic spots.

You will get the entire bright, two bedroom house on its own block. Six minutes walk to Altona train station and a further 4 minute walk to the beach with Cherry lake at the end of the street. 30 minutes train to Melbourne CBD. House offers lots of privacy and off street parking. Foxtel movies to keep you entertained. Excellent central heating and cooling. Dog friendly. Please, no parties, or you will be asked to leave.

Leanne is a great host, and her place is super tidy and organized. She is always responsive and helpful whenever I need her. On street Parking was never a problem, I always found a spot close to the house and the area felt safe. Leanne is super nice and let me use her washer when I needed which is very kind of her. Definitely recommend and I'll not think twice to stay at her place again. Thank you Leanne.

Saratu was friendly and welcoming, the home was immaculate and safe, everything was as described, basic instructions and conditions for my stay were clear. I spent the majority of my trip out and about, typically only returning to the home late in the evenings (as quietly as I was able) - the flexibility to do this without issue was very appriciated. I couldn’t have asked for more when I stayed at Yu's place. Yu is very cordial, friendly and always responsive. The house's location is fantastic with everything ( train station, Coles, Altona Beach, Cherry Lake) within a walking distance. I had a great time staying there and I surely will miss Yuki (The Cat) a lot.

The kitchen is bright and well-equipped, featuring a large window that allows natural light to fill the space. Essential appliances, including a toaster and stove, are visible, along with clean countertops and organized storage for cooking needs.
