We enjoyed the house and the area for a midweek. Everything we needed was present (and more) and the contact was fine! I would definitely recommend this house if you want to travel to the Winterberg area with a larger group.

Was a nice apartment with ample space. A beautiful area and a large garden. Contact with the owner was pleasant. We had a great time!

Great place to stay within a holiday village in a good location with short distances to the place. The terrace is facing south and the neighboring buildings are arranged in such a way that no shade is thrown. In winter close proximity to the ski lifts. The adventure area In Winterberg is also easily accessible (about 10 minutes' walk). Due to the quite early check-out in 10 o'clock, it is possible to organize breakfast away from home.

Stayed here with my company colleagues for Gamescom convention and it was spectacular. The house is beautiful and modern while retaining the charm of the German countryside. Easily accessible walking paths to the town and forest made this idea for us as we didn’t have a car.

Beautiful large house in a very quiet location. Great big balcony (with lounge set) with sun in the afternoon. Dishwasher, large fridge. Spacious dining table. Garage under the property to store your bikes, for example. Place for three cars on the property. Easy access via a key box for which you receive a code (but after having sent 250 deposit first, I found it less sympathetic). Winterberg at small 10 minutes drive.

We had an absolute dream vacation at Villa Bestwig! The houses are super cute and lovingly furnished, there are even games for the whole family! The hosts are very friendly and welcomed us warmly. The amenities of the villa are simply great - even a waffle maker is available! The garden is beautiful and invites you to linger. The tables and seating are perfect for cozy evenings. And the sunset through the windows is simply breathtaking! The surroundings are a paradise for hikers - we were so happy to explore the beautiful nature! We can definitely recommend Villa Bestwig and will definitely come back!

Beautiful house for an unforgettable weekend away with our friend group. It was our own private castle! Large rooms, comfortable beds, and kitchen and bathrooms were large, clean and well equipped. We were greeted very friendly by the house’s caretaker and contact during and after our stay was very pleasant and friendly. Two small remarks: some of the rooms didn’t have curtains or blinds to block out daylight, and in some rooms the light switches were not working properly or confusing to use. But those are just minor issues because we had an amazing time in the villa. Thank you!

We had a perfect family break in Sauerland. The accommodation as a former inn has character and plenty to offer: a large garden with many tables, chairs, loungers, a barbecue and a boules court, tastefully furnished rooms with small but fine associated bathrooms (very pleasant!). Also in the kitchen we had everything we needed - including a dishwasher that is ready after two minutes:). The landlords are reserved, friendly and helpful. All in all, we really enjoyed our stay and can only recommend the house.

The house was great. We had a lot of space and the decor was very well maintained. I recommend this house to anyone looking for a place to stay for a large group. Thanks Paul, he was also always very quick and easily accessible.

We celebrated a round birthday with 20 people. The place was ideal for that. It has everything you need for the accommodation and meals of a larger group. The rooms are good and everything works in the kitchen. The large common area is perfect for shared food and long game nights. The area offers a number of activities for young and old and in the nearby Winterberg you will find plenty of shops, restaurants and supermarkets. We enjoyed the stay and can recommend the accommodation.

Located on the edge of the forest, with a large lounge with a fireplace and views of ponds, meadows and forest, the Forest Lodge was an ideal place for us - 5 people with a dog - an ideal place for a reunion over the turn of the year. A nice place for a few days in quiet surroundings that invites you to walks, chats by the fireplace, reading at one of the large windows, cooking and eating together. Sincere thanks for the well thought out hospitality!

We, seven adults and seven children had a wonderful weekend in Benjamin's house, the house of about 300 years old really has its charms, with associated sounds and everything. The host really deserves congratulations on hospitality and helpfulness. If you were with something and approached him, he always responded immediately and was also very helpful. There is also plenty to do in the area of the house. In about half an hour, you'll be in a zoo or amusement park such as Moviepark Germany. At the house itself there is also a beautiful large garden in which you can sit outside and there is also plenty of parking.

Overall a really perfect stay. The house was exactly as presented and hoped. Plenty of space, plenty of sleeping options, sauna, bathtub, great kitchen and and and... Sabrina also left the pool "open" so that we could take ice baths before and after each sauna session. Simply phenomenal and highly recommended. Note on the four star categories. Here I was extremely petty. The location is on a busy road and not in the countryside - it didn't bother us, but maybe you should know. The apartment was also super clean and tidy but of course you notice that people usually live in it. And that didn't bother us, but it's not a five-star hotel. As mentioned - I was now very petty, so I don't give out five stars everywhere! 😅 But overall highly recommended for six people!
