Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Alps

Tastefully renovated house in a village of character with lots of charm. The house is very nice and is much better than in the listing photos! The location is great for resting, walking and eating well. The locals are welcoming and put their heart and soul into showcasing their land. There's an excellent restaurant in the village that combines authenticity and refinement. Most of the products are made on site, including goat cheeses to die for. Lara welcomed us with great kindness. She also has a ceramic workshop with pretty pieces and makes products from strawberries and roses. This stay was a great discovery!

We had a great week staying at the family run apartment . A warm welcome by our hosts Ivan and Selena . A relaxing place to be with a great terrace and view on the bay . Beach , center and restaurants all a short walk away. We have been looked after really well. Thanks !

We had a very nice stay over Christmas at this charming house of Yann! The house is extremely cozy, with a crackling fireplace that provided a wonderful atmosphere. Highlights were the sauna, hot tub and river right outside where we could even go ice bathing – but even without ice bathing, the house is absolutely recommended. ;) The location is ideal: right by the forest, perfect for relaxing walks, yet only 5 minutes drive from Gérardmer where we enjoyed the Christmas market and shopping. A perfect place to spend the holidays with the whole family!

Very good weekend stay in this suite for a peaceful stay. The pool table is very nice and the jacousi clean and luxurious. A very clean and beautiful suite I recommend The Spa Suite for a relaxing moment.

Property located in the city center, with possibility of street parking or nearby. We felt like we were in a small house in the city center. The neighborhood quiet condition and clean apartment. No problem.

Very clean, just like the pictures and cozy. The host showed us everything, was very understanding, flexible, very polite and pleasant! Unfortunately, we were 20 minutes late due to the train ride, thank you for understanding and waiting as well as the kindness! He was also able to give us recommendations for things to do and food, etc. Clear recommendation!

The owner is kind and helpful, response to all our questions when we were there and the place is spacious and clean.

Grand Cru is like its name, the best wine in the house. Lovely decor, right in the heart of the ville, everything you need to enjoy your stay.

A superb base for group taking part in UTMB Chianti race weekend (around 20 mins drive). The estate’s red wine was particularly tasty way of celebrating. Love to return when warmer to relax by the pool, and enjoy the stunning views.

Wonderful house and surroundings !

We had the most relaxing week at Villa des Lauriers in Mazan! The house is nestled in the beautiful Provence countryside, with stunning views of vineyards and the gentle hills of the Comtat Venaissin. It was the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle, yet close enough to Carpentras and just a short drive from Avignon, which we took advantage of. The villa itself is spacious and well-equipped, with three cozy bedrooms (but we only used one since it was just the two of us) and a sunny, fully equipped kitchen. The highlight for us was definitely the fireplace—there’s nothing quite like curling up by the fire after a day exploring the region. The outdoor area is equally impressive. Even though we visited in winter, the south-facing terrace was perfect for soaking up the sun during the day. We also appreciated the terrace and the privacy of the whole property. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

We had a dreamy week! Marjorie and Sébastien, are extraordinary hosts! Because of their responsiveness and communication! The house stands out for the many entertainment options both indoors and outdoors! If sun: a hot tub as well as a beautiful pool , a shaded terrace,its sofa area for a friendly aperitif will be present If rain: a cinema ( like a real one) , a balneo, an arcade with a multitude of games available , a PS4 …. What happiness!! In short, enough to recharge but also visit ,close to Mâcon and its vineyards , Brancion castle, 1 hour from Beaune . We'll be back!!! Absolutely recommended! Everything was great! The time in the villa was very pleasant and Maja was very helpful as a hostess, full of great tips and recommendations for activities and restaurants - all of them excellent. Villa very clean and spacious, modern and equipped with everything you could wish for, including a great grill. We will be happy to come back!

Villa Grgo is a very nice property and corresponds to the description and photos. The location is a little off the beaten track, but you can reach supermarkets, restaurants, cities and beaches by car in no time. The amenities are new and upscale. The pool was also cleaned for half of our stay, and we also regularly used the hot tub and sauna. Communication with the hosts was also great, helpful and fast. On request, we were also able to check in earlier. All in all a very nice stay in Istria.

We had a lovely stay at Leonardos villa in the hills of the Tuscany. The place has different villas that are within walking distance of each other but with enough distance so that privacy is kept. The villa is very rustic and old, which creates the Italian charm, but of course ants also find their way into the house which you need to be aware of. We were not disturbed by that and loved the country- style feeling of the place!
