Inspired by the rustic Tuscan style, this gorgeously refurbished hayloft features ceilings with exposed beams and bricks and thoughtful touches for a stylish and comfortable decor. From the relaxing hammock and the stone made barbecue in a panoramic garden to the cozy fireplace, every space feels open and inviting. Immersed in total peace and tranquillity with a breathtaking view over the Chianti hills, halfway between Florence, Arezzo and Siena, the barn is a perfect homebase to visit Tuscany. The accommodation has 2 floors. The upper floor spaces 2 double bedrooms with wonderful views of the olive trees and a bathroom with window and large masonry shower. On the ground floor a cozy and spacious living area with fireplace and a kitchenette with gas stove a large fridge and oven. The barn has ceilings with exposed beams and bricks. Outside there is a panoramic garden set on its own where, in the shade of a walnut trees, you can relax on a hammock or grill your meal (included an authentic local Fiorentina steak :-) on the stone made barbecue. A garden table is there for romantic dinners 'al fresco'. Immersed in total peace and tranquility halfway between Florence, Arezzo and Siena the barn is a perfect homebase to visit Tuscany. The closest towns are Cavriglia and the small Medioeval villages of Moncioni and Montegonzi. In each town you can find great local restaurants and a small grocery shop. Moncioni is 3 km far away. A big supermarket is located in Montevarchi and you can reach it in 8 minutes by car ( exactly 7 km far away). In Montevarchi you can also find one of the best farmer markets in Tuscany! The station of Montevarchi is 8 km away from the barn. From there you can take train to Florence and Arezzo. Siena can be reached in 30 minutes by car. The easy access to the motorway A1/E35 Milan-Florence-Rome (the Valdarno exit is only at 13 km) allows you to reach numerous interesting spots within a short time, both in Tuscany and Umbria, while few kilometres south of Cavriglia you enter the suggestive territory of the Crete Senesi. Out in the countryside, the home offers an authentic experience of Tuscany. Small towns and villages are a short drive away providing acces to exceptional local restaurants and fantastic farmers markets. A big supermarket is located in Montevarchi (7 km far away). The railway station is 8 km away from the barn. From there you can take train to Florence and Arezzo. Cities of interest like Siena, Montepulciano, Pienza and Monteriggioni can be reached in 40 minutes by car The only way to reach the house is by car. A taxi service is active from Montevarchi You will be provided of blankets and towels. The kitchen is equipped with and kind of pots, pans, bowl, plates and silverware. You are welcome to use them. Surrounded by 2 ha of meadow, 1 ha of forest, a place for retreat, for family holidays, for "Simply Being in Hollenstein." Swimming, tennis, cycling (Ybbstag cycle path right outside the door), hiking, skiing, cross-country skiing, snowshoeing and tobogganing right by the house if the snow allows! 3 km from the center of Hollenstein, very good infrastructure.

Absolutely stunning! I spent two nights in this gorgeous Airbnb while visiting the Vipava Valley, and it was a perfect home base for all of my wine tasting adventures. Even more beautiful than the pictures, with elegant and thoughtful touches everywhere you look. The area is so quiet and peaceful while still being easy driving distance to wineries, great restaurants, and such attractions as the Lipica Stud Farm and Skocjan Caves. Giuseppe was lovely. He met me at the apartment, showed me everything I needed to know, and was very kind and responsive throughout my stay. I would absolutely recommend this wonderful apartment to anyone visiting the area.

Very clean accommodation, lots of space in the living room, charming, and very warm with its wood burning stove 🔥 There was everything you need for cooking, even the chilled butter, and the local fruit juice 😋 In the middle of nature in the middle of orchards and very quiet. We were delighted to spend the weekend with the whole family at this vacation rental. the equipment is exceptional. There is almost one bathroom per room. Changing table, raclette machine, pool table, etc. Delphine and her companion are adorable. We're already thinking about renting it again.😉

This place is a real gem! The detail that went into the decor of the house is impressive. It’s so beautiful and peaceful and lots of space. We went in November for the truffle season, the highlight for me was lighting the log fire and having a glass of wine looking at that amazing view as the sun was going down, perfect! I was also impressed with the app, we didn’t need to ask many questions as the info is already on the app. The house is also fully equipped with everything you need, they really have thought of everything. We went with our 2 young children who loved it. The owners Sara and Mark allowed our children to meet their 3 dogs, it made the kids day! I would highly recommended this place, we are even planning on returning as we enjoyed it so much. Perfect for a long weekend autumn break. As I told Mark, the house has an English twist, but set in the beautiful Italian countryside. Great work guys!

Stefania has been a great host throughout our experience. Great communication with everything you need to know and then some. She introduced us to a wonderful caterer, Victoria, who fed us fabulously for three nights. After a day on the slopes Stefania’s place was a dream to come back to. A great setting, just minutes from the main lift by bus and three minutes from the bus stop. We also walked the fifteen minutes a couple of times. Dead easy. The Lodge has a real luxurious feel. Beautifully appointed: nice and comfortable furniture and beds. A pristine sauna, well stocked kitchen with good coffee facilities and comfortable dining area. Nicely laid out lounge and quality audio throughout. We felt right at home. Absolutely loved it and would recommend it in a heartbeat. We’ll definitely look to go back. Thanks Stefania ( and Victoria)

Ruth welcomed us very warmly in this beautiful restored barn, and very comfortable. She remained discreet and very available for our entire stay. Barn in a dominant position, overlooking the beautiful city of Siena and its hills. Truly a fairytale location...silence and tranquility will accompany you from morning to night. The apartments are equipped with every comfort: TV, washing machine, dishwasher, etc., but if something is missing, you can contact Federico, the landlord. Always available, friendly and very kind. Never intrusive. We recommend this magnificent barn to everyone for a vacation full of relaxation, good food, good wine and the beautiful Sienese countryside.
