If I could give Leigh-Anne a 10 star review, I absolutely would. My husband and I were traveling from the states on our honeymoon, never having visited the Netherlands and not really being travelers, period. We honestly had no idea what we were doing - Leigh-Anne jumped in and was so kind and helpful. She was so clear in describing where the Airbnb is, not leaving out any important details of how it was on an island, needing to travel to and from by ferry, how often the ferry ran, etc. Luckily we are not big nightlife people and booked the cottage for peaceful refuge and that is just what we got. My husband and I are animal/nature lovers, so the fact there are goats and a rooster were icing on the cake. There are endless fields with wildlife, flowers, cows that you can see from the bedroom window when you wake up and a nice set up outside that is perfect for enjoying some coffee with the goats and birds. De Woude is so cute and quaint. THANK YOU for sharing your space, Leigh-Anne! 🫶🏼

By far the most beautiful place we have stayed during our travels! We can’t recommend enough and it was worth every penny.

If you are looking to immerse yourself in the Dutch countryside this is a great location. The fact that they are below sea level and all the engineering that goes in to keeping them dry is a bonus

Had a wonderful night in 'De Garage'. We were warmly welcomed by Jos who gave us a short tour. The stay was very pleasant and the area wonderfully quiet. We'd love to come back!

Arrive and feel comfortable: warm welcome, short briefing and tips. Private retreat with nice terrace and small garden at the back out to the water. Surrounded by water, great nature. Individual since you have to take the ferry to get there ( 2 min)- uncomplicated. We used the house as a couple and found everything we need for a nice getaway. Recommended

We had a lovely stay in the cozy cottage. The fire place and piano were great. Very cute and cozy bed. Well equipped kitchen. We didn’t know that the cottage was on a farm, but we enjoyed the animals and nature. Good for hiking.

We had a wonderful night in this cozy and lovingly decorated house. It's really thought of everything and you immediately feel comfortable. Communication with the host was excellent, she always responded very quickly and was super helpful. Would love to come back anytime! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️🦊

I had an amazing time at the cabin. I am a florist and I came from the USA for the flowers and to learn as much as I could about them, the farming, the flower auctions & the marketing and advertising while I was here. I was traveling solo and her cabin is a perfect location for it all and I felt safe there through out my stay. I also loved the fact that I had the quiet woods and farmland surrounding me but could also be at the beach in a blink of an eye! She was an amazing host with the biggest heart and wonderful recommendations. I so wish to come back one day with my daughter. The cabin and The Netherlands have my heart now! :) Thank you for an amazing trip. P.s.- If you plan to stay here, maybe bring a flashlight because the trail in the woods to the cabin can get a little dark at night! ;)

We stayed there for three nights. It was a very appealing place to stay. Bus and train connection were very good. The owners were super friendly and very helpful at any time of day. We would love to recommend the place.

We had a wonderful stay in the lovingly furnished guest house. Everything is available and everything in the apartment is described in a self-explanatory way. The guest house is very clean, the double bed very good and everything practical and nicely decorated. The location is great and a free large parking lot is just around the corner. Nel is very accommodating, quickly accessible and also responds very quickly. Katwijk is also very beautiful, especially the beach with all the beach clubs. Check-in was very easy with a lockbox. Thank you for the great stay. Absolutely recommended.

Cozy lodge, with coffee and tea and some treats. A warm welcome. Bikes were ready for us to cycle to Haarlem, but we decided to take the train. We got this tip from Rutger and liked it.

We had a wonderful time in the cabin. The place and the cabin are fantastic and Rens and Elisa w af and super friendly. In addition to the beautiful surroundings and the beautiful accommodation, we were very happy with the wood stove and the hottub that we could use for a fee. Peaceful location and Ilona was very understanding and helpful. The outdoor firepit really added to our stay, thankfully we had gorgeous weather so we could use it every night. Thank you so much, and we hope to be back soon :)

A very sweet cottage, we didn't miss anything. It was super quiet at night so we slept great. The small fan heater helped us a little. Susanne is a lovely hostess. Breakfast was on time, we liked it very much, it was lovingly prepared with small Details arranged. We will be happy to come back. We would recommend it to anyone.

Wonderful place to relax for a few days. The cottage is complete and the hot tub and Finnish Kota complete the package. Wonderfully quiet location and a very good bed . The breakfast we ordered up to twice was delicious and varied. Alette was quick to respond to our questions or wishes, which was nice. Unfortunately, the critters who roam around the yard (2 dogs and a cat) would have been nice. In short, a wonderful place to get away for a few days! Recommended, absolutely

Beautiful home right on the water. Looks exactly like the photos. We were able to check in early. Host was responsive and gave local recommendations when asked.

We had a very lovely stay in Jisp with Esther and Marc. Spacious accommodation in such a peaceful location. Our hosts were fantastic, so accommodating and helpful. We made the best of the weather with several days of cycling and relaxing. Public transport is excellent as to be expected. We would love to come back and explore more of North Holland.

Patricia's tiny house in charming Watergang is a fun, well-equipped cottage in a peaceful area. Easy and affordable to take a bus or uber into Amsterdam or to explore villages like Edam and Volendam.
