Well, what can we say, the best Airbnb we have stayed at. Perfect spot on the beach, perfect host! We were welcomed with a bottle of wine (😊), some fantastic local info and such a proactive host in Angelina. She gave us a great option for our day trip into Lisbon (only 40 minutes away by bolt & ferry), great restaurant options and also gave us some fresh lemons and eggs from her organic farm! We have stayed at many airbnb’s but have to say, Angelina was by far the best host we have had. If we ever come back to Portugal, we will definitely stay here again!

Beautiful location near (but not too close to) Sintra. Ocean view from inside. Incredibly close but I the beach. Everything necessary was there.

Super nice apartment with fantastic views of the sea. Very comfortable with elevator and parking space in the underground parking. We felt absolutely comfortable!

we really enjoyed our time in Colares as a family with two young kids. the house is perfectly located with stunning views of the ocean and several restaurants and shops nearby. Would always return-highly recommended!

The house and surroundings are very nice, located outside the tourist hustle and bustle and yet very central. There is a nice self-service breakfast and you can have a very nice breakfast on the terrace. Mars is very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed it very much, except that our rooms were quite dark, as they were located on the first floor (except for the very stylish bright bathroom). We were able to stay wonderfully on the terrace. The kitchen is very small for proper cooking. We are more than happy to recommend the place!

The location was spot on for. Our short stay as a first trip to Sesimbra, we will be back. The apartment is in a clean modern apartment with stunning views and all the amenities. We didn’t get lucky with the weather for a couple of days but the apartment meant had plenty of space for us to chill and read books. Then when the sun came out there was a great selection of restaurants to visit and enjoy all within walking distance. Looking forward to returning.

This was such a beautiful and special place. Wonderful outdoor space & cozy inside. Highly recommend if you have a child - great for outdoor play and close to the beach. We loved everything about it! Thank you!

Very nice house, in a peaceful area with beautiful ocean views. Ideal for a change of scenery. A good distance from Sintra, a classified city. The only problem was the weather. It wasn't the best week to enjoy the sun and pool, due to cold and rainy weather this week.

We stayed in Costa da Caparica for over a month, from December to January, and loved every moment. The weather was mostly sunny, and the views from the apartment were incredible - mountains on one side and the Atlantic Ocean on the other. Watching the sunrise in the morning and the surfers catching waves at sunset, all from the window with a glass of wine in hand, was unforgettable. The apartment had everything we needed to feel at home, and Gonçalo was a fantastic host. He gave us great tips on visiting places and was always there to help when we needed anything. The only thing to keep in mind is that on Friday and Sunday nights, we heard music from a nearby club. If you’re a light sleeper, earplugs might be a good idea. We had a great time here and would love to come back someday.

Staying at Theresa and August’s place in Parede was an absolute dream! From the moment we arrived, we felt completely at home. The apartment is even more beautiful than the photos – bright, spotless, and thoughtfully decorated with so many charming touches that show how much care they’ve put into the space. Theresa and August were the perfect hosts – warm, welcoming, and incredibly helpful. They made sure we had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. The location couldn’t be better: peaceful and quiet, yet just a short walk to the beach, local cafes, and the train to Lisbon or Cascais. Waking up to a beautiful sunrise, having coffee on the sunny terrace, and taking evening strolls along the coast – it was everything we hoped for and more. We honestly didn’t want to leave. Thank you, Theresa and August, for sharing your beautiful home and making final week living in Portugal so great.

We had a wonderful time at Ricardo‘s place. It’s close to the beach, grocery store, restaurants and the house is situated on a large property with a pool in the back. I look forward to coming back in the summer! Ricardo was great as a host and Pedro was incredibly helpful to figure things out and provide local recommendations.

We had a wonderful 5 days in Sesimbra in October. The apartment is in a great location just a short walk to town and the beach. The apartment itself is clean and has a great veranda + pool with view. We were forecast rain and tropical storms whilst we were there and though a bit changeable we had some lovely sunny days and were able to hang out in the pool. We had a trip to the castle, Cabot Especiale and to see the Dinosaur foot prints. We especially enjoyed sampling the delicious food at the many restaurants and having a cocktail or two! The locals are super friendly and it was fun watching the surfers. During our stay there was a tropical storm and Jorge checked in on us and made sure we were aware of the alert and we're ok. We had a great, restful time at Lurdes despite rainy weather. We were very warmly welcomed and provided with great sightseeing and restaurant tips. Elisabeth was always available for us and very quick to respond. The ocean view from the deck is amazing! The nearby beach (we would recommend a car) has great bars and clear water. The house is clean and as pictured. Thank You!

Jorge is an outstanding host. Although we arrived late in the evening and had to self check-in, we encountered some difficulty locating the right apartment. However, after a quick phone call, Jorge guided us directly to it with ease. The apartment itself is comfortable, clean, and well-maintained. While we had read in other reviews that some of the interior feels a bit dated, it wasn’t an issue for us. The highlight is its prime location—just a short walk from a stunning beach and train station. Conveniently located in between Cascais and Lisbon which made it easy for us to explore the surrounding areas.

Don't think twice- book this place! Dalila's place is absolutely stunning inside and out. The kitchen is adorable and stocked with all the tools you need, the entire home was so clean, and you just honestly cannot beat the views. The weather was super windy and rainy during our stay, but that just made cozying up inside feel even better. Lovely little cafe just up the road, groceries nearby, and an amazing seafood restaurant that Dalila was able to get us a reservation at (even when I asked way too last minute, lol). We will remember this romantic little getaway forever!

Great spot!! Very relaxing and spotless!! Very close to old Towne Sintra with tons to do!! We throughly enjoyed our time there. Wish we had more time!!

We arrived at midnight and had no issues with getting keys and access to the property and Parking outside no problem, was close to plenty of restaurants and close to main centre and beeches. Would recommend

Absolutely beautiful, newly renovated, spacious and bright apartment right on the beach of Praia da California. The apartment was immaculately clean and the kitchen is still brand new. The highlight of course is being right on the beach and waking up and falling asleep every day to the sound of the waves crashing on to the shore. The ocean views are impeccable! It also only takes about a 2minute walk down the stairs to get to the beach. I went there in October and the beach was pretty much empty, weather still pretty warm & even the ocean was warm enough to swim in every day. You can tell the apartment is looked after very well by its owner, David and is also great for a longer stay. You have all cooking utensils and a washing machine to really make your stay comfortable. Overall, an amazing place to stay and David is an absolute please to communicate with and you can tell he really cares for his guests and the apartment. I hope to be back soon! Highly recommended!

This is a magical place, meticulously cared for in every detail. We greatly appreciated the vegetable garden, the big outdoor space with the scents of spices and many nice activities for kids, the hot tub, the herbal tea made with garden herbs upon our arrival and the beautiful collection of children's books. We had such a relaxing weekend that recharged us! We highly recommend this accommodation, especially with your bambino :) Thank you, Dean!

We had a lovely stay. Joao is very friendly and welcoming. Everything is as advertised and it's a show every day to open the door of the house to the ocean. Surf lessons in front of the house, very good restaurant nearby. I recommend her house.

What a beautiful place. We stayed for two weeks and loved it! Sleeping with the sound of the waves, walking out the door right onto the beach :)
