We absolutely loved the home! Of all the airbnb's we have stayed at over the years, this is by far our favorite! The home had everything we could have ever needed with extra linens, pillows and soft blankets. The surroundings were amazing and this home far exceeded our expectations. Nicholas was very responsive and helpful and we will absolutely return the next time we pass through Lucas Kentucky!

Cabin On Barren

This home on the river is absolutely stunning and had plenty of room for my family to relax after long days in the sun. All of the sleeping arrangements were great too. The two decks in the back of the house were an outstanding place to drink our morning coffee. The views and scenery were fantastic and even saw many deer walking within feet of the house. Wow what a place!!! Will definitely be booking again for next year.

Adorable cottage on the lake. My family loved it here and enjoyed the hot tub and fire pit. Home was clean and comfortable with all needed amenities. We visited Mammoth Cave and hiked local trails. Would stay again if we visit the area!

We had a wonderful stay at Simply Sailing. great cabin with everything you could need. great covered area to a park boat with pull through driveway. 2 mins from boat ramp, and close to a gas station and a great little pizza place. 5 stars for us. We look forward to staying again.

We absolutely loved it here! I cant say enough about all of Matt’s design sense and attention to detail - both artistically and architecturally. The way he structurally built this house amazes me! Monika & I found such peace and tranquility in the surrounding woods, lake and forests! The Tree House was so cozy, well designed and all of our needs were taken care of. True nature luxury. We are already planning our next trip back!

Very nice Lakehouse! Really loved it. The water was super high from recent flooding and we couldn’t really enjoy that aspect as much as we wanted. But no fault of the host. The one “complaint” is that the main level felt like a bonus level and the basement was the main level with the good kitchen. So we ended up all gathering upstairs in the game room area because that’s where the most seating was but the kitchen wasn’t stocked up there. The downstairs would have been perfect to hang out with the group our size with more seating in the basement. Again, not a fault, just a quirk. Loved the hot tub and the bedrooms were spacious and clean. The views were gorgeous and I could have stayed an extra week! Next time, we want to go in warm weather and stay longer. Jean was very communicative and helpful with our questions. Also… if you go, get groceries ahead of time before entering the area as there is little to no shopping lol!!

My husband and I were thoroughly impressed with this place! Everything down to what we needed to cook in the kitchen was well thought out. The home was peaceful, pristine and perfect for our Christmas in the mountains. We also enjoyed walking the mountain bike path behind the house! We feel restored. We highly recommend you stay here!

Beautiful and peaceful place to stay! Makes you feel right at home. Beds were very comfortable, place was clean and well kept! We loved playing board games on the back screened in porch, it was so peaceful! Enjoyed the pool table and dart board! Well worth the stay! Would love to stay here again! My husband and I brought our 4 children down for spring break along with our close family friend and her 2 children. The house easily accommodated all of us (1 child is an infant who slept in a packnplay) and it didn't feel crowded at all. The house itself is gorgeous and the property is even more so. It feels so peaceful out there. We enjoyed exploring but did not have the opportunity to take the kayaks out as the water seemed to be quite high at the time of our stay. This house has literally everything you could possibly need from plenty of towels to firewood to outdoor games to gorgeous views of the stars. We were not disappointed and our kids didn't want to leave. If we are ever in the area we would stay here again. Dave has things labeled and does a fantastic job sending directions and information in a clear manner. Thank you for sharing this space with us!

Wonderful stay in a beautiful location! We thoroughly enjoyed our time at Cindy’s place. The house is decorated beautifully and it is oh so cozy and comfortable. My family loved playing games and there were many thoughtful touches such and s’mores supplies and a cute Christmas ornament. We would definitely recommend this place and would love to stay again!

We enjoyed our two night stay at this place. A newer house, fitting the description and photos. It comes with a well appointed kitchen and bathrooms. The beds were comfortable. It sits in a secluded, wooded area, with somewhat distant neighbors and with a view of the lake from the back porch. The firepit looked inviting, although we ran out of time to enjoy it. We were pleased to get to Prime on the TV easily to catchup on one of our shows.

We had a great time here. It is off the beaten path which is what we were looking for. It was quiet and a great place to unwind and having some adventures. Melissa was very quick to get back to me when I had questions. I would absolutely stay here again.

An open living space features natural wood flooring and a stone fireplace at its center. Comfortable seating includes a dark sectional sofa and patterned armchairs. A staircase with black railings leads to the upper level, complemented by festive garland along the banister.

These hosts and home were a 10/10!! We had the most relaxing and beautiful time! The rooms were fantastic, and the view was amazing!! We enjoyed the hot tub and sitting around the fire too! The hosts were super helpful to tell us great restaurants around, things to do and ways to relax! Will 100% ne booking again!

I had an amazing stay with my boyfriend and dog. The scenery was amazing, I highly recommend bringing binoculars if you have them! Wild turkeys and deer can be seen everyday. The There was plenty of action on the lake for fishing and the pup enjoyed the huge open fields for running and playing. This is the perfect place to get away for some relaxing, and I will definitely stay again!

Our second time staying at a Tim & Shannon lodging (first time was Fishy Business in May 2024), and we knew we would have a wonderful time at their Nature's Calling site. We were not disappointed! Beautiful surroundings, lovely and comfortable cabin with all the amenities needed. Their place is close to my daughter's home so we were able to visit her and have her and the grandkids visit with us. We hope to stay here again, on our next trip out to Kentucky. Thank you Tim & Shannon for sharing this beautiful place!
