Cabin vacation rentals in Allegheny River

Jennifer’s place is exactly as described/what you see in the photos. The cabin felt secluded, but was a quick 5-7min ride to town. The inside was VERY clean and had plenty of room. The hot tub was great! We will definitely be staying here again and would recommend this place!

Such a great little cabin in an amazing location! Has everything you could need from well appointed kitchen, extra blankets, comfy bed and awesome outdoor space with fire pit, grill and nice porch!

The place was well represented in the photos. Everything was clean, the bed was comfortable, the hot tub was clean and fully functional. The property was beautifully maintained both inside and outside. This was ideal place to recharge. We were provided with everything needed to have a relaxing trip. The setting is unique and serene. The sounds of nature were all around us. It was obvious to us that the hosts put a lot of care into this home.

What a delightful stay for a girl’s trip of three.I had no idea what to expect of the area, but Liz’s home and property were fantastic. I immediately felt at home when I walked in. Photos are 100% accurate. Small details were appreciated: lots of hooks and places to keep items, lamps galore to keep the perfect ambiance, aesthetic was incredible, and you must check out all the books! Kitchen well stocked, as was the cleaning supply. Hot tub and entire home was pristine (I know a frames are TOUGH to keep dust/bug free- but Liz’s home was immaculate). Very comfortable beds, and beautiful, soft linens. The communication was great, easy in and out. We made a trek out to the Ledges and just had an overall amazing experience! You will not regret this rental and I am already planning a trip back!

Lauren’s cabin is absolutely gorgeous, well cared for and better in person. I booked this cabin as a surprise for the second leg of a birthday trip. He loved it and didn’t want to leave. The lake, dollar general, an ice cream/ burger spot and even a saloon are all within a 3 min walking distance. We’ll definitely stay again and soon. A great getaway from fast paced city life.

Such a great place to recharge and relaxed. Super private and romantic spot. A great place to get away from busy life and slow down! I recommend bringing some DVDs for the DVD player!! Amazing stay!

Great place to stay. It was beautiful. There is a bar/restaurant right down the road for those that don’t want to cook. I would definitely recommend.

John and Olga are perfect hosts. Their home is welcoming and their grouds offered the perfect place for wonder and exploration. 10/10 - highly recommend and can't wait to come back.

Has a great, quick, weekend getaway at Plum Creek Paradise. Really enjoyed the rural location with access to a beautiful creek, maintained waking trails and a fishing pond (our boys borrowed rods from the very hospitable owner). Our boys, ages 10 and 9 enjoyed the barn cats, the rabbit and the horses. One hour to a Pirates game in Pittsburgh! A very easy drive. Found a great local coffee shop - Coal County Coffee. We would recommend for a weekend !

The Cozy Cabin takes me back to my childhood summers spent on a farm! I love bringing my grandchildren here, to enjoy nature and to just spend time together, something that is hard to come by these days! Everything you need is provided for, and we’ve learned to bring less and less every time we visit! Thank you, Will for always being a great host!

Beautiful getaway! We had a great time here- we loved walking the property and having coffee overlooking the pond. It was very peaceful and as described! We had some rain so we weren’t able to use the fire pit like we planned, but we weren’t able to able to use the wood stove for s’mores! It was cozy and lovely.

Jennifer's place was centrally located in the mountains. Plenty of small towns a short drive away, breweries close by and wineries all along the way. The space was peaceful, clean and had everything we needed. I would definitely return.

A bit out of the way is where you stay and back beyond the gate. A quaint cabin full of glass more windows could open but that will pass. The beauty and space will surprise the eyes. It fills your mind with the beautiful scenery and is well worth the wait. Pass the porch with the picnic table and see all of the nests of the birds before. Look up to see a few more in nooks and crannies; even above the door. The Cardinal will remind you of your neighbors and will greet you upon the lights first rays. That won't be soon. You have your day of play on the rocks and the fire will set your night ablaze. Inside this home cozy and warm sometimes too warm because of the gas wood burning stove. All is provided for and shared between owner and guest of past each need thought of like a claim comfy in a cove. The wood for your fire, the butter for your toast. The coffee the tea the water you need most. The space for your dog and child to play, a couch and TV for when that fades away. Yours fortoday

My husband and I daydreamed about a cabin in the woods getaway; some calm, quiet, quality time outta the city. And while we knew we wanted something peaceful and nice from the world, we couldn’t have expected the quality stay we would receive while staying at Victoria’s Cabin! It has the cabin in the woods stay and feel. But also so clean and with anything you could need. It was clean, cozy and peaceful. The surroundings were beautiful and ideal and there was wonderful hiking and sight seeing to enjoy. Victoria is kind, responsive and made all the directions and instructions simple to follow. We are so beyond pleased with our stay, the getaway we absolutely needed and highly recommend this cabin to anyone interested. Only thing to note is that telephone service is pretty bad in the whole area. As far as WiFi and internet, we didn’t care in the least. But it made being in touch with my son challenging. But if we’re being honest, I needed the break from him too :-) 10/10!!

Definitely everything Irwin said it would be, and Moore, what a great host, I believe I have made a new friend, very social, honest down to earth, all around good human being absolutely great communicator way way way be on our expectations of a host, could not have been better, just can’t say enough about how everything went and was, but mother nature didn’t play along so well, but if it wasn’t for the host and the absolute best place to stay in, that wouldn’t have been as much excitement and fun, beautiful surroundings, nestled in the Allegheny mountains,110% love.

It was a very nice place , great location and plan on future stays , we did have a hornet problem at the wood shed and we did eliminate them with an product found at the home , are family has allergic reactions to bee stings so it was important to eliminate them for our safety, but that is part of being outdoors so it was not a grave concern after they were eliminated

You can't beat this cabin's location. On a clear night during the right season, you can literally see the milky way from the backyard!! The cabin is absolutely lovely and would be great for a family with a bunch of kids that are ages 10 and up (the stairs could be a bit unnerving for really young kids, but older kids would be perfectly fine). It has a great atmosphere. I would love-love-love to stay here again. It was so perfectly cosy. The hosts are incredibly communicative, and they gave us lots of great advice on where to go to do things during the day, what to expect if you're heading to the night sky viewing area, and where to eat. And unlike many places, they don't give you 8,000 chores to do at the end of your stay, haha. The few things they ask are incredibly reasonable. 10/10 stay. I'd recommend this place to anyone. I think it's the best in Cherry Springs, and that includes the nearby lodges.

The place was very clean, great location and close to everything Cooks Forest has to offer.

We had a wonderful stay at this gorgeous retreat in the woods. It was decorated beautifully and had everything we needed. It was a perfect spot to get away and unwind. We loved the bridge over the creek where we had our coffee, the stonework in the bathroom, and the bedding was super comfortable. The many plants were such a nice touch. We hope to return to this amazing home and property!
